What a fun idea! I'll have to try that sometime. I love feta. I edited the recipe, double-check it again before you cook, if you get a chance.
|
|
thanks, jewels. I like your idea. If I get a pet goat, I won't have to mow the lawn anymore, I'll have fresh goat milk and feta...and I do like goat meat but I couldn't eat my lawnmower:

There is a farm near where I live,
That sells organic meat from grass-fed animals bearing hoofs, not the goats though. I rarely end up having enough red meat to cook, cuz I eats most of it raw. Hey OCM?, I need to show you 'round Philly sometime, I think BadNick and who ever else would love to join would enjoy that too, maybe someday we could have an East Coast Meet. That reminds me, I think I will by one of those lottery ticket things, I here they wprk for some people. |

Hey! Isn't that self-flagellation?
Where is your right hand anyway? http://www.theage.com.au/ffximage/20..._300x426,0.jpg |
ring,
East Coast Meet would be cool, you guys should come out. FYI, today we bought 120 PA Power Play lottery tickets..so if we win, the whole meets on me...or is it meats?...OK, both. The first time I saw Billy he came walking out of a cloud. He had a pistol in each hand and a scared look on his rough young face. The cloud drifted in from the plains earlier in the morning and stopped over the Hidden Mountains, in the country of the Messy Apaches -- that was what buffalo hunters called the Mescalero... "No, I'm just from Philadelphia," I said. He was not the first person to make the Mississippi joke. |
My rabbit is attacking things under my bed.
I didn't realize rabbits had "attack mode." I thought they only had clumsy/cute or Fast/cute modes |

From a distance, and closer. We're making progress. On a lighter note, does anyone have a smoke I could bum off of you? "The donkey had stopped to meditate..." |

I remember burning holes into leaves on the sidewalk with one of those.
I recall enjoying the scent, as the small swirling column of smoke arose from that tiny hole in the leaf. |

I always carry a magnifying glass and a harmonica. I don't know why...maybe cause I was a Boy Scout? I'm not happy with my Hohner BluesBand...wrong key or something; I need to get a new Marine Band G unit since the one I had was accidentally crushed by one of my kids.
|
Harmonicas are especially nifty anti-boredom devices.
http://i.ehow.com/images/GlobalPhoto...-main_Full.jpg I must admit, I find pitch pipes to be more useful: http://www.ucdavis.edu/images/featur...pitch_pipe.jpg -----Added 25/9/2008 at 11 : 18 : 40----- I have this on me more often than not: Bausch & Lomb Hastings Triplet 10x http://www.takahashiamerica.com/cata...20Hastings.jpg It is more compact than Jewels' magnifier, and possibly more handy. |
When I searched "anti boredom device", Bop-It comes up. :orly:
I guess the kids used to have a blast with that. |
anti boredom device? gasoline and a lighter and a CRT monitor. GO!

...my buddy in work sells this stuff on the side; it's supposed to be very good for you, high in anti-oxidants. But he drinks a ton more beer than goji juice. http://www.shopnolimit.com/files/140...goji-berry.jpg |
Is that similar to Noni juice? That shit sells if you can establish a clientele.
|
I'm still thinking about harmonicas,
Our dog,Thunder would sing and howl along everytime. Magnets are nifty little anti-boredom devices also. Trader Joes sells different juices from concentrate with no sugar in them. Ohmyohmyohmyohmy, my man will be here in a few hours, time to retire to the Romper room. |

Ahhh....ain't nuthin better than the adrenaline rush of love,

Eso, I don't know what Noni juice is, so I don't know how it compares to Goji.

Welcome Makedde,
This thread is whatever we want it to be, it flows from one subject to the next, you are allowed to post random thoughts that have nothing to do with the post before, we sometimes chat, we get very silly sometimes, sometimes we get serious for a few whiles, Welcome, Jump in, the water's fine. |
More is well here than you might imagine...
|
"We challenge our limits,
we don't let limit our challenges." |
then she sez, "what doesn't limit us merely challenges & I am up to it."
i sez "I believe you." & we did what we had to do. |
All we did is, "Act naturally."

What inspired me was last night I saw an amazing "video" sequence that was constucted from many still pics with scientists extrapolating mass movements and filling in with photoshop type techniques...it was amazing, but I couldn't find it online, so I collected a bunch of stills and these are some of what I found. |

They took the fruity shapes out of my Trix cereal recently, so it now looks like technicolor Cocoa Puffs, and the legacy of the white rabbit is now dead seeing as I now have no semblances of fruit floating in milk to live for anymore.
Back to Honey Bunches of Oats w/ Peaches, Strawberries, Bananas for me. |
Jet,
it's probably too late by now, but if you'd have stashed away all the Trix for a rainy day you might not be having this problem now...siwwy wabbit shoulda done what smart little monkey see and do http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...nana-tower.jpg |

Hey OCM! I had luck in identifying that tree we found with the very large leaves. It is called a Royal Paulownia, native to China I believe. If I could post a picture of one, for you folks, I would. The leaves I am pressing must be at least three or more feet across. |

Oh is that a Florida beer? Never heard of it. I'm usually a 'rita or Corona girl, with the exception of a beautiful local amber I had in a pizza place in Seattle once.
They've got some great culinary delights down Key West way. I used to go quite often on weekends when a friend would let us use the house he had and rented seasonally. Those were the good days. |

BAdNick has filled the void of another occasional resident I haven't seen for awhile in this ever-expaninding little parade known as the Longest thread EvER?: any guesses as to whom I am referring to in the case? (hint: screenname also started with a 'B', and resolved with a proper familiar name...)

Jet, it sounds like you said a nice thing about me...thank you...but I have no idea who you're referring to. Please do tell or give more clues at least.
These monks have been doing this for a long time, though not the Longest yet...and they seem to know what they're doing, and I can attest to that again after having a couple of these...my youngest son took this pic as I was having a couple Chimay ales, which I let him taste as I tried to teach him how to sense the subtle flavors. He liked the cool foam: http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...jt2/chimay.jpg |
