Sometimes I get lost in this thread.

...drop a trail of crumbs so you can find your way home, little girly.
|
Howdy everyone. This is my first post! It's good to be here!
|
Hi AV. Glad you're here making us longer.
|
So I found a new show to watch at work: Dexter.
Only watched the first 2 episodes yesterday but I'm already hooked. |
I wanted to be one of the many Darth Vaders on the bridge.
(Who were those masked folk?) |
I might need the wind
underneath my strongish wings to fly anymore. (Or else I'll just use silk) ((Hell, you know where that comes from.) |
We need more beans.

I'm still stuck on ep. 2 of the second season. What site did you find that'll stream the show? |
....just sittin' here waiting for a bus,
that's going fast enough. |

How to calculate Percent yield:
Write the chemical equation. Record the mass of each of your starting materials. Convert the mass to moles by dividing by molar mass Divide the # moles of one reactant by the other (experimental ratio) Divide the coefficient of one reactant by the other (stoichiometric ratio) If the stoichiometric ratio is larger, then the numerator is the limiting reagent. Predict the theoretical yield by multiplying # moles limiting reagent by the ratio: product's coefficient/limiting reagent's coefficient Run your process Gather the purified product. Measure and record its mass. Convert mass to moles product. This is the experimental yield. Calculate the percent yield by dividing experimental/theoretical x 100. *If your final product is impure, your experimental yield may be higher than the theoretical yield. If this is the case, dessicate your product for an additional five minutes. |

forgive me
I said something cruel and untrue,
so I erased the words. If I could erase the the pain they caused, I would. Maybe an apology will help some. |
That made me feel long, ring. I hope you're OK.
Longest, Nick |
LONGEST! shortest!
did you know long is shorter than short? |
You may not fool me:
My pants are where they belong, and you're not trying. -----Added 8/9/2008 at 10 : 33 : 15----- (& no, it's not OK! I find It hard to believe you went THERE with THAT. ...but at least you've explained a more recent communication, and the lack thereof.) I woodn't do him; I don't know why you think so, Nor why you now don't -----Added 8/9/2008 at 10 : 45 : 01----- It's hardly OK when pleasant coversation leads to such results. I don't understand, I've been doing my damndest, and driving for hours. You may not fool me; my pants are where they belong, and you're not trying. P.S. I love you. |
I just re-discovered an old movie gem I haven't seen in a long time.
1947 The Ghost and Mrs. Muir Gene Tierney and Rex Harrison I would love to live in that cottage by the sea, complete with the oil-lanterns, candles, woodstove, and rattley windows. I will look forward to curling up in the large comfy chair with my dog, plenty of blankets, enjoying the small fireplace that barely keeps up warm, as the pacific storm winds try to blow the shutters off. Wine and cheese and a handfull of books on the table, and the dog gets a bite of cheese now and then too. He is my Prince, and the best judge of character as well. Uncanny. |
that tells me nothing of the movie. ... ?
|
I'm sick and tired
of those who will make no sense, but vomit elsewhere. |
This page is taking too long to finish.
|
Maybe this is the Never-Ending Story page....I love that movie.

I love the movie, The Secret Garden.
It is very tender and moving without being sappy. When large amounts of poison go in, poisonous things will come out, and can be impossible to remember. I want to be a Florence Nightengale and heal all the wounded ones. I don't know if I can, but I will try. OCM?...I do love you. Hey ...I just watched another good movie, About Schmidt, with Jack Nicholson. Catch ya later good people. |
A little ZZ anyone?
You didn't have to love me like you did But you did, but you did. And I thank you. You didn't have to love me like you did But you did, but you did. And I thank you. But you took your love to someone else I wouldn't know what it meant to be loved to death You made me feel like I've never felt Kisses so good I had to holler for help You didn't have to squeeze it but you did But you did but you did And I thank you. You didn't have to hold it but you did But you did but you did And I thank you. Every day was something new, You put on your bag and your fine to-do You got me trying new things too Just so I can keep up with you. You didn't have to shake it but you did But you did but you did And I thank you. You didn't have to make it like you did but you did but you did And I thank you. All my life I've been shortchanged Without your love baby it's a crying shame But now I know what the fellas talking about Hear me say that they been turned out I want to thank you I want to thank you I want to thank you Yes, I want to thank you |
more movie posts!

"Once a woman has forgiven her man,
she must not reheat his sins for breakfast."- Marlene Dietrich I need to pet my blanket soon. I need to kiss the boo-boo and make it all better. ( yeah, I said that one on purpose, say g'night Gracie.) Tonights movie will be Cinema Paradiso, I have heard it is excellent. REAL butter on the popcorn...with some garlic and parmesan too. |
Always strive to be happy and laughing,
you never know when a black hole might swallow you. It wouldn't be much fun, to spend a long long long long time, being grouchy. unhappy or afraid. OCM? says it best, Be Just And Fear Not! |
I just love the ring,
& I know nothing much else. I've become confused. But I know the truth: The need to extemporize overcomes others. |
Flying by the seat of our pants,
I will embroider wings on all of our back pocketses. |

Shuffle ball change?
Yes I took tap lessons, and that first device I know how to use as well. and the third....I wonder if they have the Honey Weiss on tap? Clever, kind, witty Sir Nick! Fortunately, my head is attached by the neck brace I am wearing. I am going to ask OCM? to help me decorate it this weekend, so it looks more festive. |
ring ring ring?
But what made you need the brace holding your head on if I may ask this Did you get hurt somehow? |
i think that since we were put with the regular NEW POSTS; we have had less posts since ever!! this is pathetic!

I have a few needs,
one of which is helping you. I'm still wanting, too. |
Thanks!

new rule: you visit the TFP: you must post in this thread. You go online? you must post in this thread. no exceptions!

Who is the elven?
How is the gang this ninth month of the revolution? |
This tilted forum,
or should I say this one thread, should grow more yeast-like. |
There's a fungus amungus and we should embrass her...I happen to know this one is a "she".
|
here is a little TFP experiment for everyone:
a few months ago, I posted this comment: Quote:
They reached: 19155 since then and we reached: 15353. 19155-18570=585 15353-14556=797 We are 212 posts faster than they are. It's not enough but if we keep this up, we will absolutely make it. |
See, this is another example of the interconnectedness of the Universe....212F is the boiling temperature of water at atmospheric pressure!!! ...boggles my imagination.
|
just like that... That means we're boiling them out of the sky? ???
|
well MOAB, that's true, I hope we are. But I have to digress a moment...the boiling temperature of water is lower up in the sky, depending on altitude, since the atmospheric pressure is less. So if we want to bake cookiies:
Although water is generally considered to boil at 100°C (212°F), water actually boils when the vapor pressure is equal to the atmospheric pressure around the water. Because of this, the boiling point of water is decreased in lower pressure and raised at higher pressure. This is why baking cookies at elevations above 3,500 feet above sea level requires special baking directions. This plastic bottle was closed at approximately 2,000 m altitude, then brought back to sea level. It was crushed by air pressure. http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...lastic_bot.jpg We shall overcome...and crush...that other thread, which shall remain nameless so as not to draw undue attention to them. |
I fuel my life
with a belief in myself & cut you no slack. ring says hi. |
hi!
...but don't forget that how high will determine the atmospheric pressure. |
I've never made the 15360th comment anywhere before.
|
fun! I like where this thread is going!
|
Let's keep this up... with a scavenger hunt theme time until we run out of steam on the effort... find me a hilarious big 10 mascot moment, please.
|
this birthplace
might be as good as my first - when was that? |
I have ten fingers and ten toes.
If I put rings on each of them, could I please then be the mascot? |
Let"s go!!!!!
|
"Those spurs they jingle jangle jingle."
|
We were fine,
and once enamored, got better. |
How fine a point do you prefer on your pencil?
|
Perhaps I could tell,
but then I'd need others to do dirty deeds. |
I want to thank you for doing the breakfast dishes,
Do you do windows too? |
"This cunning linguist
uses its tongue very well, thankyou very much" (is it okay to quote oneself?) ((&, yes, I do do windows) |
It's perfectly fine and healthy to do all sorts of things to oneself.
|
When I said I do do windows, I was thinking of pigeons.
|
I will take their eggs over easy please.
|
They went for a two-point conversion! AND MADE IT!!! Are they insane??!!
|
yes. I only saw 1 person talking...
|
|
yadda? or Yodda? or Yoda? or Soda?
|
|
You guys make me think about important shit...thanks, it makes the space between my ears tickle.
http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...0pics8/doh.jpg |
"Life IS too importent to be taken seriously."
Thanks, Oscar Wilde, I needed that. |
I can't think right now,
& facility, inherent, only does its stuff. |
I love to do stuff.
|
Demanding presence,
depending, also lazy, I lay there and wait. |
Your prescience knows, you will be able to unwrap your presents, soon.
|
don't you guys have AIM or something?
|
My aim is true.
|
Elvis and Costello had beautiful children together.
|
Of course, they were sterile.
|
I have AIM. I atually have good AIM. I can hit someone at almost 1mile away.
|
I have no use for aiming...it's so simply linear. My aura radiates instantly and infinitely everywhere in all universes ...see, I was just 12 billion light years away in this universe and now I'm already back here.
|
You're very lucky!
I got lost in this small space; & barely came back. |
I aim to please
|
OK, since my last post I got lost but now I'm found...whew!
|
My Spoonerism affliction was in remission for a mumber of nonths.
I seems to have veturned with a rengeance. From past experience, it larely rasts more than a wew feeks. Last evening I had the most dovely lining experience, in a rancy festeraunt. The portions were so generous, I had plenty to take home in a boggie dag. |
Hey BadNick, Let me know if you find my sunglasses.
|
You mean the ones on your face that mock another's avatar?
|
no, that would be my sunglasses. The avatar is an homage to someone I respect. If mocking is the general assumption, then I will change it.
Here's one I had with an UsTwo theme:http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3167/...c1514a040f.jpg |
