I saw your piano post, Jet. I almost posted that I have a lot of relatives in Ohio and none are mass murderers, although one did kill his girlfriend and then himself, though it had nothing directly to do with their satisfaction or dissatisfaction with Ohio.

I think the Bucs were held to less than 50 total offensive yards...

that's offensive to anyone's sense of competitiveness

BadNick 09-27-2009 03:16 PM

Eagles won, too...nothing from Vick worth mentioning. bow wow

Fly 09-27-2009 03:48 PM

good damn birds of prey......

Jetée 09-27-2009 03:53 PM

Not that anyone cares, but I'm glad McCoy was able to help me secure a win.

But... for whatever reason, I am hesitant with DeSean Jackson, not sure why, he just runs fast and scores touchdowns win in, week out, and because of it, I cost myself a win. Curses.

Win some, lose some.

Clash of Eagles

1 Attachment(s)
Photographing in Poland, I found a dead moose that would be ideal bait. Five hours later, an adult and an immature white-tailed eagle arrived together, and a struggle broke out. The older, more experienced bird won, forcing the immature eagle to wait its turn.

Jetée 09-27-2009 03:55 PM

Let's hope one more group of birds (of the red variety) win tonight as well.

man, my teams are tanking. Tampa Bay is in shambles, and a quarterback carousel is not gonna help it out of the rutt they're digging for themselves, anyhow.

I guess I'll be cheering for Ray Lewis more than anyone else this season.

I loved that stat last night, though: each time Kurt Warner has finished a season healthy and started in all games, he's lead his team to the Super Bowl. That's great motivation to shore up that offensive line.

BadNick 09-29-2009 06:36 AM

Cleveland Demagogue? ...or Cincinnati? Or wait...is it CrocoDile?

"CD" reminds me of such a great essay that a middle school student wrote when my dearest ex-wife taught in inner city Philadelphia. It was absolutely randomly brilliant since I can't believe he did it by design. In that story, after misspelling crocodile a few times, he started to abbreviate it "cd". The punch line at the end of the story is "nevr trush a greedy cd" which means "never trust a greedy crocodile" since the croc violated trust in the story and ate the other character, a tortoise. The title of the essay was "The Toolish and the Crackdart" ...which are brilliant misspellings of "the tortoise and the crocodile". I hope that kid went on to a successful writing career.

BadNick 10-04-2009 06:27 PM

no...just a random pic I found googling. But they seem like a happy, nice couple.

On the take 2 theme, I did take these 2: one is me in Paris when I was a silly young man, the other is when I was a soul brother and with my soul sister, though we did occasionally do non brotherly/sisterly things

http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...ickinParis.jpg

http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...icksoulbro.jpg

...funny true story about my soul brother era: we went to a very good friends house who we saw often, like at least once a week. We knocked on their door and when the answered we asked if Leroy and Mabel lived here. My friends were cordial but told us we have the wrong house and never recognized us.

what the hell, since I'm in this album and see these two, might as well take 2 (more)

Two of my many many home-made halloween costumes, one is me as an end table/lamp, and all those items are glued to the table so I don't drop them as I'm wandering around the party trying to get drunk. The other is my version of "big bird"

Talking about Paris, you (both) should really watch this BBC One documentary that I have fallen in love with... I'm still not quite of the title, but "Paris: Bohemian Rhapsody" was my favorite of the the (perhaps) three-part series.

I'll find the link to a stream or DVD boxset ASAP so you can get in the know.

Oh Christmas, that dark and wintery day when Christians celebrate the birth of the Bastard Virgin Jesus who would later end up inventing the idea of Eternal Hell and saying bad things to Jews and unbelievers. Since Christmas is supposed to celebrate the birth of Jesus, why not give a gift that relates to his life? Here are a few ideas that should educate your religious opponents with a little humor to break their intransigence.

Gift ideas for religious people

Jetée 10-07-2009 06:48 PM

That's got to be it.

Rescue Rangers!

I think the dude's got an itch and it can only be scratched Disney characters (or Characters by Disney?).

Why else would he have a moving picture of Tinkerbell's plump derriere getting trapped in a keyhole?

Chippendales - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jetée 10-07-2009 06:56 PM

You think he goes that way?

You are bad. Like FoxKids afternoons

BadNick 10-07-2009 06:59 PM

just don't do what I tried...which is google "chippendale" and then search "images" and I think it was the second image I decided to copy it and put it here....but as soon as I hit that link my ESET NOD32 Antivirus popped up and said it terminated that connection due to some kind of trojan figgamagig and when I went to look at the log it was an attempted triple attack. But it failed and I'm now plotting revenge.

Jetée 10-07-2009 07:06 PM

I wish I still had my ESET NOD32 whatever.

But, I got mine through elicit means, it installed a keylogger in my 'puter, I had to get rid of it, and then my lifetime 4,360 day trial version decided it wanted money finally, so I trashed the program.

I'm now operating AVG 8, for whatever that's worth.
