thats commendable, but not entirely necessary. your call, of course, however. suggestion: you might want to wait until it reaches stumper status, then go ahead and answer, followed with your own question.

I will wait.
But please, anyone who is reading this, just take a guess. As we mentioned, it's NOT John Lennon. He's dead. That leaves Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison (who was alive at the time). Why do I feel like this is an episode of Celebrity Jeopardy from SNL?

I will let ToolBag's question stand since I've never seen him here. Typically ToolBag, the person who answered the question correctly asks the next question. Welcome to the thread. Being a huge Sabbath fan, I know the answer, but will let it go in hopes that we get more new blood in here!

Perripken, the thread originator declared the rules to be this:
An unanswered question has 24 hours before it is deemed a stumper. At that point, the asker will ask another question (hopefully a little easier) An answered question has 12 hours to be confirmed. If you are certain you have the question correct, go ahead and ask a new question to move this thing along. On the same lines, after a question has been confirmed correct, the person who answers it has 12 hours from that point to ask a new one. If that doesn't happen, the answer is nullified and the person who asked the last question, asks a new one.

No problem ToolBag, it's great to see new people in here!
The more people we have, the more diverse the questions! If it were just myself and the God of Thunder in here, it would be overloaded with Styx and Kiss trivia- heh heh heh!

I dont know if I should consider this a stumper yet or not. I will give a clue, which is if anyone has a viynl copy of the self titled album, you may find some hints of the real names. Also not, this may also be available on some of the imported versions of the cd version.

I'll give one away. I know that Ozzy's real name is John Osbourne. Now all someone has to do is come up with the other two.
I think we can pretty musch declare this a stumper though. Good job for your first post.

Former guitarist Jim Martin was in a band with the late Metallica bassist Cliff Burton...what was the name of that band?

I'm making a ruling and letting notaneel's question go through, since we have not heard from rideough.

Thanks for keeping an eye on things Thunder, after much deliberation, my wife and I decided to keep our high speed service, but now I have some adware problems that are really slowing me down at home. I've basically only been checking in at work. I'll be back, though!

Glad to here you're sticking around. Check the computer forum for some tips on removing the adware. There are several very good tools listed in there.

OK either we have 2 stumpers in a row, or no one feels like participating anymore.
By the rules, notaneel is up again. If a new question isn't asked, I open it up to perripken.

Ok guys, you asked for it! I'm going to give the GOT a taste of his own medicine. Let's see how good he is with his KISS trivia...
actually he should know this one. What was the symbol that Vinnie Vincent had painted on his face and what was so significant about it? hmmmmm.....
