Jetée 09-19-2009 05:53 PM

As soon as I enter this thread, my mind goes blank. That would be a good thing elsewhere to achieve serenity, but I at least like a semblance of a discussion here once in a while.

That can't rightly happen if every time I pop up, I fall back into the void.

What was I talking about? Oh, the disparity of connections and collections. I abandoned my snow-moners theme so easily. Maybe until first snow falls, it'll get resurrected.

BadNick 09-19-2009 08:11 PM

hi Jet...how ya doin'? I'm fine. Sadly, I probaby won't be "here" when you post back, but I'll check back in late tomorrow to see what semblance of discussion is happening. Good night and dream

hm, flickr has some very erotic photos once you turn off the adult filter (it took me 20 months how to figure this out) but it also has the most disturbing ppictures as well.

There's a give and take, and I feel woozy and instantly irate at my ignorant curiousity everytime I encounter what the populace refers to as a "she-male". I think the filter needs to go back up.

He also has um, I forgot the rest. I don't think he has quite as many as MF DOOM, though. It's hard trying to figure out when he has a new release when he changes his persona every 3 months. :orly:

Esoteric 09-21-2009 01:25 PM

MF DOOM, Viktor Vaughn, King Geedorah, Zev Love X, Metal Fingers, and most recently DOOM.

I had no idea he released a new album earlier this year, or that he's now known simply as "DOOM". I haven't bought a single album since late 2007, so I don't know what I'm doing. I'm far behind.

Having stumbled on this myself in the past, your comment now inspired me to search "he-female" but the results were still inconclusive to me. However, one of the search hits was a cute segment on Imani the baby hippo...who btw seemed to almost jump in this little vid

Jetée 09-21-2009 03:08 PM

"inconclusive"

that's the only instance of viewing this word from above that made me guffaw.

Tophat665 09-21-2009 03:14 PM

That's so filthy, but s/he's gorgeous!

BadNick 09-21-2009 06:03 PM

Tophat, I went to yt and watched it anyway, thanks bud.

But it did not resolve my inconclusive feelings about "he-female", mainly because the search results were too mixed up with "she-male" stuff and other mixed porn. sheeesh, no search purity anymore.

Recently it caught my eye that my dearest uncle phil has the "comfortably numb" moniker under his name...so now I find out that this must be what he means:

ring 09-21-2009 06:29 PM

Nina Hagen time:

Jetée 09-21-2009 10:22 PM

I don't like stuff that doesn't go two-ways about it; my eighth grade biology teacher got into a discussion about it some time ago, and I can't remember all the details about it, but "she-males" don't exist for one-and-half reasons:

there are no "he-males", nor are there "fem-males" (I should coin that one)

like Seinfeld said: a male bimbo is a "mimbo" , but wait, that doesn't make sense, because a female bimbo has never been referred to as a "fimbo" before

I make much ado about nothing, don't I?

I guess this should be apt.

In a significant "Longest" news update:

Actually not an update since I don't think I ever posted about this here, I happen to be the happy owner of one of those "EcoSphere" sealed glass eggs that are almost filled with water and have a twig and a few pebbles inside, along with some little red shrimps. It looks just like this one:

http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...cosphere03.jpg

My beloved and most generous sister-in-law and her hubby gave it to me as a present, I think it was over 8 years ago.

As you may know, the ecosystem inside the sealed egg is somewhat self-sustaining since sunlight allows some algae growth and the shrimps eat the algae, and a happy cycle continues, sort of like the carrousel of life we're on. I'm under the impression that eventually the shrimps die off since I don't think they actually reproduce in there, and as most of us know, brine shrimp don't live forever :( However, to my surprise, the shrimps inside my egg have been alive for over 8 years now!!! (< well, at least I'm suprised about that). Reading on EcoSphere's website, apparently a properly balanced egg can have shrimps alive for about 10 years or so.

To alleviate any curiosity you may have about my eco egg, I will post updates occasionally. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you.

Yours truly,
The Master of the Shrimp EcoSphere Universe

ps: if someone finds a way to trace the EcoSphere serial number to a documented age, my has s/n 50153

Jetée 09-22-2009 03:35 PM

I am... intrigued. I have around 980 ecosystems present within my body. I'll post the article again tomorrow. Slugs on my face move when I'm sleepin, can you say that?

Population: 7000 (of which 1000 are college students)
49.5% of the population are married couples living together.
19% of the population are 66 and older, and live alone.

For every 100 females over the age of 18 there are 83.4 males.
There are ten taverns, one bowling alley, a miniscule library, and
a hundred and fifty two churches. There is a lovely dog park.

There are five to fifteen people that hang out at the library frequently.
They never make eye contact, and look at me dismissively,
when I attempt to say hello.

There is a lovely dog park.
