I love big, salty nuts more

In an attempt to lure Zooksport back, I shall provide a peek of Green:

Jetée 07-20-2009 08:12 AM

Although, I've got to say, setting out a bowl of nuts had me sniffing my way back into this thread easily enough... I love the nuts that were in my cookies earlier--I think they were walnuts; but I'm not sure what they look like, I just might know their taste.

Yeah? Are you sure?

Ring? Ring?

Ourcrazymodern? 07-21-2009 07:25 AM

Something about an old bus..... used for a short period....

Jetée 07-21-2009 02:13 PM

We should get back into the habit of posting transport vehicular conveyances once more, namely the train game; it hurts to think of nonsense for you guys.

There's the old crock that "jetee" is a woman, again, and loves to frolick around in tutus...

French feminine forms!

It did throw me off for a long while. I assumed you were female. Then I realized you just didn't care about French grammar.

I care about French grammar a great deal, but some take it way too seriously, and I say, "meet me in the middle of the evolution", and state it as if you were being chased by a low-flying crop-duster; I'm sure we'd all be screaming the word in the same manner and enunciation, given the situation.

I actually find Italian, and even Japanese pronunciation a great deal easier than I do French; it's all the Latin tongue and saying what you are seeing--The French went ahead and tried to be too cool, and made a list of exceptions longer than the rules.

genuinegirly 07-22-2009 07:39 AM

I stand corrected!

Since Jetée asked for it, here's a "transport vehicular conveyance" that appeals to me. It's called "Sneaky Pete" since it's made from an old Peterbilt truck by those wacky Blastolene brothers who've also made many other cool tvc's:

A welcomed invitation to fun that we should figure out. Does ring still have family near the land of hoagies?

Jetée 07-22-2009 07:48 AM

Yo, gg-g-girly (stuttering)... when did you take notice of my existence here? I guess it was after roachboy's solar return anniverasry a few years back, because I was a semi-other identifier, then.

RadNick: I'm afraid to say that those podcasts I was to show you are being systematically deleted... the farthest back my archive reaches back to is 06-26-08, and nearly all podcasts from then on to August seem to have broken... :(

I need to devote an entire weekend to make sure I save what I can, but I'll post for you a gem of a listen in a few minutes, and it happened maybe two months ago.

ring 07-22-2009 07:58 AM

My boyfriend's womb-mate said that all you need to learn to speak French is how to roll your "i"s.

Jetée 07-22-2009 08:03 AM

For anyone that likes "guy talk" and "humilation", here's a good way to keep yourself occupied for the better part of an hour (I'll post the follow-up once I get a single, tiny voice of approval to say "more"; I haven't had validation in a sorely long time, so I am trying to get better by letting it go):

tell me if you liked the podcast, RadSurfBum...

I have more if you are interested, or if you just wish to finish the story that was left open on that particular day's show... (trust me, if you liked that singular sampling above, what follows in the next two podcats can only be described as 'planet-shifting' in scale)

or maybe the humour is too much for the younger tribulations of squandered middle-aged insanity, that in which we left far behind?

Zooksport2 07-23-2009 01:46 AM

THE attempted armed robbery of a Russian hairdresser became a three-day sex ordeal for the would-be thief, leaving him with torn genitals and a Viagra hangover.

IT website The Register reports the man, known as Viktor, tried to rob the hairdresser in the town of Meshchovsk.

The owner, 28-year-old Olga, agreed to hand over the takings but as she was giving him the money, used her karate skills to knock him to the ground and tie him up with a hairdryer cord.

She then locked him in the storeroom and told colleagues she’d call the police.

However, she instead stripped him and cuffed him to a heater with a pair of fluffy pink handcuffs. She then fed him Viagra and raped him several times over the next four days.

When finally released, Viktor went first to hospital for treatment for his torn frenulum, and then reported Olga to the police. When she was arrested, Olga reported him for robbery.

“What a b**tard,” shecomplained.

“Yes, we had sex a couple of times. But I’ve bought him new jeans, gave him food and even gave him 1000 roubles when he left.”

Viktor admitted she had fed him well.

Jet,
I did enjoy that podcast, thank you...and since that site was previously unbeknownst to me I browsed around and found other interesting music. Listening to some selections seems to require registering so I didn't do that yet and focused on the anonymous freely available stuff for now.

BadNick 07-23-2009 11:42 AM

Jet's famous train is called the "Aerotrain". As a younger boy, I rode in one from Philadelphia to wherever it was...can't remember since I know I was heading to Toronto via train but the Pennsylvania RR Aerotrain only took me part way. In any case, at the time I was highly impressed by the swoopy design.

The reality was not quite as swoopy:
"...The plan was to develop a stylish, comfortable, high-speed train (top speed: 100 miles per hour) with low fares to lure passengers back onto the tracks. And with this new train being lightweight and fuel-efficient, the railroads should be able to return to profitable passenger service. General Motors was approached to create such a train. And its Electro-Motive Division came back with the Aerotrain. A futuristic blending of Fifties highway and railway technology (with maybe a little Buck Rogers thrown in for good measure), the Aerotrain fits right in with the GM concept cars of the period. It didn't take long for the trouble to start. It quickly became apparent that the Aerotrains were underpowered and prone to mechanical problems. Passengers missed the spacious comfort of standard streamlined trains, finding the downsized Aerotrain "buses" confining. And with the shortened wheelbase and air suspension, the ride was terrible at anything close to top speed. After only a year or so, Pennsy and New York Central returned their Aerotrains to GM. Thanks, but no thanks..."

ring 07-24-2009 08:14 AM

A different transport:
I saw a similar type plane fly over this morning.

The sky is full of planes.
The EAA (experimental aircraft association) in Oshkosh will be happening soon.
