Yeah, RAW seems to be slowly coming up, but as for SmackDown! They need some help over there. I still say WWE needs to do something to liven up SmackDown! and RAW. Maybe we should all send letters to McMahon demanding new writers and angles! Haha like that would work but it's a thought.

With TNA-NWA getting a FoxSports Channel contract it may add pressure to McMahon to make a change.

====== SPLEENS JUDGEMENT DAY LOSERS PREDICTIONS Thats right. In honor of the GREATEST ppv ever imagined, I will not be predicting the winners of all the STAR STUDDED matches. Nay, I shall be choosing the LOSERS who will lose for our enjoyment and pleasure =========== GUERRERO VS. BRADSHAW Loser: Bradshaw!!! Easily the best match of the night, Bradshaw will wow and astound us with his high-flying mat based techniques. Then lose when he goes for a hurricanrana and lands on his head. (note small amount of sarcasm) UNDERTAKER VS BOOKER T Loser: Booker T In the Takers first PPV appearance since... his last PPV appearance, he smashes Booker T into oblivion for being a SD-hata (hater) RENE DUPREE VS JOHN CENA Loser: Cena No matter what anyone says, this will be my TRUE favorite match of the night. I tire of Cena, and am a total mark for Dupree. Dupree french tickles all over Cena, turning Deez Nuts into Deez Peanut Butter REY MYSTERIO/RVD VS THE DUDLEY BOYZ Loser: All of us Pssh. Fine. Loser: Rey/RVD Jacqueline vs. Chavo Guerrero ... Loser: Chavo (?) Gunn & Holly vs. Haas & Rico :O Loser: Gunn/Holly Dear god this is getting depressing Torrie Wilson vs. Dawn Marie Loser: Torrie Wilson Dawn gets a win somehow. Mordecai vs ________ Loser: _______ uhhh... I'm hyped to see Mordecai in action and all... but seriously. Your first PPV/Televised match, and its against a mystery person!?

Oh man... you KNOW Smackdown isn't doing so well when Eddie Guererro and Bradshaw are your main event. This is one of those matches where if it was on regular TV I would get up from the couch and go to the kitchen to make a sandwhich.

That was a pretty bad PPV...The best match, IMO, was the Dudleys vs Rey/RVD. Everything else was downhill from there, but we did get to see Dawn Marie's thong...
So, how long do you think that Eddie will be recovering from all that blood loss...he was absolutely streaming blood!

So last night, I was looking to download anything off bit-torrent since I like taking advantage of my bandwidth at night. I saw the ppv available... I clicked on it....... began downloading.... looked at the card for that night..... then realized there were no matches I actually wanted to watch. Download cancelled.

What about the 20 man battle royale last night? A pretty impressive showing by 'spleens boy Shelton!
Man, talk about looking good in action. I think he's due a huge hype campaign soon. I'd like to see him and Orton go at it at the next PPV. Hopefully Randy takes him up on the challenge! That would be a candidate for match of the year, if it was booked right, and had Evolution banned from ringside!

Did anyone catch what Orton said to Benjamin last night? What the f*ck did Orton mean with the "That's just like YOU people" comment? I realize WWE is entertainment, but racism is definitely not something that should be condoned.

SmackDown! should just change it's name to WCW and get it over with, because slowly it is becoming WCW, in my view. I seriously hope NWA - TNA gets a tv contract sometime soon.

i can't watch this shit anymore.
both Raw and Smackdown just seem like pale immitations of the past shows. however, i saw the eddie guerro special and liked it. WWE not having any competition is becoming very noticeable. The WWE needs to step up. |

Update for NWA:TNA IMPACT premire this Friday June 4th:
Their website lists the times it airs. Here on the westcoast it's going to start at 3pm, which means I need to learn myself the VCR. They also have a few teaser pics of their set and stage. |

RAW tonight made me sleepy.
The Orton/Benjamin match was pretty good though. Thank god the WWE is finally going to have some competition again. I got tired of the Jericho/Stratus feud 3 weeks ago and we have to suffer through Michaels vs HHH for the three hundredth time.

The hot crowd really made the La Rez/Benoidge match much more enjoyable. Nice emotional post match celebration. Anyone know the name for their tag team finisher? The french boot or something?
I really liked the Orton/Benjamin match, but I wish that Benjamin would use his Dragon Whip, or at least turn his powerslam into a full blown EXPLODER~!! suplex. And get some new tights, man! Yeah yeah, minor stuff. But I'm loving their matches. I'm hoping both their careers skyrocket to the main event soon. And was Orton ever more awesome than that backstage interview! |

Who the hell is this Mordecai guy I saw on Smackdown last night? I haven't watched that show in months, and when I finally do tune in I see this crap? That is a completely ridiculous gimmick, and it looks like they recycled Jeff Jarrett's old country music singer costume for him.

Mordecai reminds me of gangrel turned new age evangelist. I enjoyed his entrance the first time I saw him, but it got very redundant after a while. He doesn't even look that intimidating at all. Seriously, he reminds me of those old Chinese kung fu masters with the fu-manchu's, but not as cool. He needs to stroke his beard more often.

I caught the tail end of RAW last night. All I saw was the Orton/HBK match. That was a pretty damn good match. The only low point was Orton's attempted sell of the figure 4 applied by HBK. Not convincing at all. At all. As soon as I saw Batista ordered down to the ring by HHH, I thought it would be all over for my man HBK. I was bouncing off the walls when Batista came in the ring for some action and HBK mopped the floor with him!! I thought that Orton would have had time to recover while HBK was whooping ass on Batista, but no! SWEET CHIN MUSIC FOR YOU!! What bitch? You wanna bring in a chair? Well have a kick in the nuts!! Ref wants to take my chair? I'll clobber his ass and go to town on Orton and Batista!! Now I wants me some of that HHH action, so I'm gonna go up and get some. A little bitch slappin' on Flair's white headed ass, and its HBK/HHH in the skybox!! Hell yeah beyotch!!
**in case you haven't noticed, I haven't seen wrestling in a while, so I was mega pumped to see it.

Anyone watching RAW????
I am not a mark for much as I know it is well scripted to say the least, But either Shawn Micheals got totally injured and it was the real thing or my amazement for Micheals' acting job just skyrocketed because that looked real. Anyone know if it was a work or a shoot? I know Micheals was getting 6 weeks off for vacation, and injuries usually are the way they do it. But either I am the world's biggest mark and Mr. Gullible or HBK really got hurt and in a very serious bad way. (PS One humourous thing: JR: "I got HBK's blood all over my hands from consoling him. His blood is covering my hands and I don't know if that's such a good thing.")

I thought it was a blood capsule also but the when you see Kane's face and him going over and getting help (Kane is not that good of an actor). Also, with works 90% of the time they have the guy getting beaten as he's going to the ambulance, and so on. Quote:

The "blood" did not coagulate fast enough. The entire 15-20 minutes of the thing, the blood remained wet, even after the inital flow of blood had stopped.
that... and the ambulance wasn't even turned on. I mean, when they were going to put him into it, the lights in the back were not even on. The ambulance was pitch black.

It was a really impressive visual with the blood spurting out the mouth, and totally had my girlfriend convinced it was real. But then they kept showing the camera angle where it seems Kane barely lands on the chair's legs. Good stuff, though.
I really liked that main event, and it was a real suprise that it went over so long. |

They will keep showing an injury, Take Sid Vicious for example. He jumped off the ropes and snapped his leg in half and Scott Steiner stomped him for 2-3 minutes before he realized he was hurt and pinned him. Steiner never broke character, or he's just that much of an asshole
I was suprised RAW went that long. I think they are going to start doing that more often because they still have so much talent that's not getting enough airtime.

Last I heard, the Michaels injury was a work. He's been looking for vacation time to spend with his family (his wife is apparnetly pregnant), so they did that to get him out for a few weeks.

So...quick recap from this past weekend. I decided to go to both Bad Blood and the Raw on Monday.
Both were very entertaining. During the Bad Blood title match, people were actually going to get food to prepare for the cell match. I found that pretty amusing. On Monday, we were sitting right by where Joe Schmoe was, and he was a great guy. All night, he was signing autographs and doing pictures with fans. I loved the look on Edge's face when he saw "Joe" holding an Edge sign. It was classic. Needless to say, I am just now getting my voice back. If there are fans out there who haven't gone to a RAW taping, I highly recommend it. Lots of fun!!

What's the status of Ultimo Dragon in the WWE? I saw him on Saturday in a match against American Dragon at the NJPW USA dojo here in SoCal, but they advertised it as a "special event," and they turned off the cameras during his match. Has he been released, or does he have a special deal where he can work other events outside of WWE? He also brought one of his students from Toryumon X. The sailor guy. I forgot his name.
Regal looked really good tonight in his match. He's lost alot of his bulk, and seems alot smoother in the ring. Kinda wished they spent longer trying to build him up as a face. Half the crowd was actually cheering when Eugene was beating him up. Anyone planning on getting Ric Flair's book? |

Woohoo!!! Vengeance was great! I loved the Edge/Orton match...they should have saved that til the end, IMO.
Plus, watching Eugene do Flair was right up there with the Big Schmo's "Showster". I can't wait for the rematches at Summerslam. Okay...I have a question for you guys...there was a Benoit video they've been playing during the shows, and there was a song playing that the chorus kinda went "If I gave it all away, wouldn't that be something" It's slower, and I've been hearing it on the radio recently, but I haven't heard the artist yet. Any ideas?

Vilkata, thanks.
As for Kane's music, I was listening to the Punisher soundtrack when I heard that one. I did a double take there. I did not expect to hear Kane's music. I would have loved for that to have been the song playing when he was fighting The Russian. Ah well.
