So they put Stacy with Jackie as a duo for Playboy? Nice to think about...veeerrryy nice...*pant*
*ahem* sorry. Know it's not happening. Anyway, is this the new Stacy line? She's going to be attaching herself to rico, working the playboy pair thing, then get into a fight with Jackie...just in time for WrestleMania? Kind of limiting.

After watching Raw, I just have one comment
THIS IS BULLSHIT How can they fucking set the Wrestlemania main event up for a Triple Threat match?!?! They might as well just of made Benoit job to Henry. Stupidest decision ever. The main event has always been 1 on 1, unless there wasn't a 'clean winner' in the Rumble. Just when I was really proud of WWE for giving Benoit a great push, they totally ruin it. Okay, my rant is pretty premature, but I swear the only reason HBK should be in the main event is if he wins the title from HHH before WMXX. [/angst]

Here's my idea:
Since most of the wrestling sites are spouting the praises of Sable and Torri (SMACKDOWN) as the twin playmates to appear in the same magazine, were have a conflict. The sites say those 2. But Stacy and Jackie (RAW) seem to have the most steam on television. Guess what that means. FEMALE TAG MATCH FOR THE PLAYBOY SPREAD. good god... I hope its not at Wrestlemania XX

Ahh... Stacy... wow! What else can you say about her? I don't think she's got the sleaze factor down yet to do a playboy angle, she just seems too sweet for it.
Now Jackie on the other hand.... I got tix to Smackdown this tuesday in Tacoma so we'll see if torrie and sable look decent in real life.

For those of you that care, lol, Zach Gowen has been released from his WWE Contract. And yes, although Torrie and Sable are good looking, Sable has aged just a little bit, and I would personally have looked forward to seeing two women we haven't seen in Playboy yet. I'm also not really liking the idea of putting HBK in the WMXX match w/ Benoit and HHH, I'd rater see HBK go at it w/ the winner o that match at the RAW PPV after or on RAW or something, I think it would work out better that way.

So Shawn Michaels' fued with HHH (which was supposed to have ended at the Royal Rumble), supersedes Benoit's winning of the Royal Rumble, which was supposed to guarantee a title shot at WMXX? If we follow the storyline, shouldn't Michaels be completely out of the title picture, since he's dropped the ball numerous times before? And shouldn't they be pushing Benoit as a giant threat to the title, instead of having him knocked out by Michaels so easily? Shouldn't Benoit have retaliated that night, instead of having Bischoff make a match for NEXT week?

The feud did not end at Royal Rumble because the match ended in a draw. Benoit always gets fucked over, so I'm guessing Triple Threat now at WMXX. Michaels can't be out of the picture due to Steve Austin telling him that if he wants another title shot to 'so somthin' about it!' Benoit and Michaels' match probably won't have a winner next week, Triple H will most likely get involved, which I think will lead up to the Triple Threat. And that's all I've got for now. Oh yeah, who else thinks Benoit always gets fucked over in his title shots? Lol.

Almost forgot, rumor has it that Goldberg's match with Brock Lesnar at WMXX could be his last, and that from the way it seems, he may leave WWE after WMXX. What is everyones thoughts on this?

Dunno about a 'Loser Leaves WWE' match or anything, but the rumor states that from the way it looks now, he may leave. I've also heard that Brock Lesnar said if he could make as much money doing something else as he doeswrestling, that he'd leave WWE. Keep in mind these are rumors, though.

Benoit always gets screwed over, the same thing with Eddie Guerrero. I think it's a litttle odd that two people acquired from WCW are getting big pushes at the same time. As for the Ric Flair- Benoit match all I have to say is, Four Horsemen Forever!
Also that was the ugliest Crossface I've ever seen Benoit use Any comments on the way the Undertaker/Kane feud is being pushed? I've loved most of the segments so far. However I did miss that big sign that people are talking about on the net. It said something like "The Dead shall rise in 30 days"... Anyone see that on RAW? Lastly when they do bring the Undertaker back I hope they bring him back with the Graveyard Symphony as his enterance music again.

Newbie to tfp but enjoying it
Ive been a fan of benoit since the early wcw days when we first started getting wrestling in about 1998 or so. Given the work hes done i think its sad that he keeps getting screwed over in big match situations as ive watched it happen over and over. What are the chances this will be his big moment to finally win the title? Predictions? Also after the way that WCW pushed goldberg over so many other deserving wrestlers, id love to see him get decimated |

Here is my opinion about Benoit. Obviously he is a great wrestler and when he goes out there every night he busts his ass. He's got a fierce personality and his chops are vicious (you saw Flair's chest bleeding last night).
However, Benoit's charisma in my opinion has always been his achilles heel. When he's a heel I don't really hate him, and when he's a face he can't cut that really awesome promo a la HBK, Foley, or the Rock can that is essential to being a champion. That being said... I would LOVE to see someone else have the title aside from HHH/HBK/HBK. So go Beniot..... I guess....

I could care less is Goldberg left or not, really, he hasn't had a huge impact on RAW. But if he did stay I'd rather see him on SmackDown! so he could have some feuds with people on their show rather than be put in matches with boring ass Mark Henry. Speaking of him we sem to be Henry-free for a while, seems Benoit hurt him or something.

Actually, Mark Henry yoinked his arm in a house show the night before or something. He said he was okay for the match with Benoit, but he just got messed up due to him being "Not Flexible". In other words, Benoit did what he always does, but Mark Henry just couldn't take it.

Yeah, in my opinion, Brock is gonna drop the title to Eddie tomorrow, by some sort of interference by Goldberg, which is gonna set up a Brock/Berg match at WMXX that Brock will win and Goldberg will find something else to do other than wrestle. God for a guy with like 4 or 5 moves he sure gets pushed big time.
By the way, if Benoit wins the title at WMXX... God save us all. A champ that can fight his ass off, but has like zero mic skills and charisma. WWE needs more wrestlers like that, just go out every match and bust ass, and never have to cut an interview. It just isn't in Benoit's repetoire to be good on the mic. I think that made sense.

i love chris with a passion, but you are right..he sucks on the mic. Id really like to see his and ANYONE other than HHH with the belt though..
Hell most of the new talent sucks anyway.. It would be nice to see a little guy win the belt for a change.. Even better if it's a clean win |

Bah, you don't need charisma to be a good champion in my opinion, Benoit is way more deserving than a lot of wrestler's who hold the title these days, with or without mic skills. He has paid his dues, give him the belt already, ya know?

I think he would have to cut an interview occasionally, but really only for something important. The rest of his promos should consist of somebody calling him out, and he making them tap instantly. Just by staring at him! Sure beats the 15 minute verbal masterbation that HHH and other guys do nowadays. Maybe if they actually had something INTERESTING to say, it wouldn't be so bad. Showboating (sp?) and theater are great, but there has to be a PURPOSE, dammit! Last edited by evilbeefchan; 02-15-2004 at 12:30 AM.. |

All I know is that two things are really intriguing me for RAW tomorrow: Beniot VS HBK, and the development of the Orton/Foley feud.

Why in the world is HHH still champion? Does anyone not see that he's probably the worst champion they've had in a long time, and he's had the title WAYYY to long.. I've found no one that enjoys his matches. Unless it's a PPV it goes like this.
1. He comes out and spits water all over the place 2. gets his butt kicked by someone 3. Evolution inteferes |
