Dog...Ruby
Cat...Cecil Goldfish...Spot Hamster...Dude The mouse that got into the basement....You goddam sonofabitch Your socks. Folded, rolled, or just tossed in drawer? |
I'm an army brat --house rules were socks were put into the washing machine pinned togheter with a safety pin, and came out of the dryer and were rolled into a neat ball and tucked over... (they also made for good tennis balls and other things to throw at annoying sister)
What's your middle name and do you use it? |
I roll my socks... what monster would just toss them in a drawer?
Can you sleep at work? If you can, do you? |
I actually fold them, not roll them and then toss them into a drawer.
My middle name is John and no I don't use it. It's only in the last 3 years I started to use my first name. I really hate my name. I can sleep at work, cause part of it is at night, but I run the risk of being caught sleeping by the captain (which happened to a friend of mine last summer, I just about pissed myself laughing) or running over some yacht. How many credit cards do you have? |
None, I'm thinking of getting one just to build up my credits and use it only for parking passes, gas, other small everyday item purchase.
Do you like your full name that your parents gave you? |
Yes, it's simple... even though there are a gazillion Jessicas in the world... and they didn't give me a last name which actually makes me more unique.
What is your middle name, and would you like to change it? If so, to what? |
ever get the feeling this thread is going in circles?
|
My middle name is Robert. I don't really care to change it. I've resigned myself to a boring name.
If you could speak to any world leader whom would you chose and what would you ask? |
Catherine - and it's only on my birth certificate - no where else - it's not even on my social security card... I like the name fine- but I just have too many first names to even contemplate using a middle name...
What is your natural hair color? do you help nature along at all? |
Black. I help it sometimes, there's a huge biodegradable pill decomposing in the back of the barn as we speak. Fertilzing the soil ya know? Sometimes I like to take a piss to water the plants outside
Whats your NHL playoff predictions? |
I predict that I won't watch any hockey games, unless they're Olympic games. ;)
Say you're riding the subway and you feel a hand on your ass, squeezing, and when you see who it is you.... |
probably laugh (or maybe puke)..this actually happened to me at a video store once...felt the hand on my ass, but hubby was standing a few feet in front of me...boy did that guy have a red face.
Order in or go out? |
Sooo depends on the evening, the weather, my mood, and my company. But, I typically go out.
When was the last time you hollered to or tapped someone on the shoulder that you really thought was someone else and what was their reaction? |
last night, and got no real reaction at all, just, "that's ok..."
have you ever been to spain? |
Yes, I have. I was there last year. Stayed in Madrid.
Do you bite your fingernails? |
no, never
ever had an ingrown toenail? |
I have one now and it hurts like crazy!!!
ever had one of thse ingrown hairs that everyone could see? |
I have not!! Come to think of it I do not even know if I have ever had an ingrown hair.
How much time would you say you spend on tfp a day? |
too effing much, according to my gf. I envy those couples who are both addicted.
do you have a big hairy mole? |
I have plenty of moles but none of them is either big or hairy... Though the one near my mouth has a beard growing around it so I suppose you could argue for hairiness if you wanted to push the issue.
Do you have any scars on you body? What's the story behind the scar? |
Yes. I was climbing a tree and the branch I was standing on, broke off leaving a pointy bit sticking out. As I fell, it cought my belly and ripped a 4" gash about where my appendix is. Though it was deep enough to see my fatty layer, it didn't bleed at all and healed on it's own. That was around 15 years ago, and it's faded quite a bit.
What was your favourite book as a kid? (not as a baby) |
Ow! Fuck! I got queasy reading that!
Where The Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak Do you get queasy at the sight of blood? |
Nope, in fact I'm fasincated by it ;)
Do you believe in god? |
yes - i also believe in the power of prayer... though not all intentions are honored... i believe that they are all heard... A person has to be responsible for themselves and help themselves, but God, to me, is this big father type figure who you can go to and talk out what's on your mind and if you listen you'll be given direction as to where to go to solve what your problem is.
What's a major deal breaker in friendships... what's a behavior that will have you saying - sayanora I can't be your friend anymore? |
Bad handwritting. I hate trying to decipher notes. Is he coming over at 2? Or at 5?
No...seriously..dishonesty. Lie to me, steal from me, or otherwise abuse my trust, and the friendship cord gets cut fast. If you could be chosen as a character actor/actress, in any TV show now, or ever aired, what show would it be, and who would your character be? |
Stargate SG-1, it'll be Colonel O'Neill because of his quick witted humour in unrealistic situation :D
Pittsburgh or Seattle? |
Dallas.
rain or snow? |
Rain - -nothing better than a rainy sunday afternoon -curled up on the couch with a hot cup of coffee and a pile of old movies... Plus when the sky clears - it's fun to go jumping in puddles.
When is the last time you jumped in puddles... |
Back in the fall... my duaghter and I went puddle jumping... Much Laughter ensued.
This question was skipped so I'll post it again: If you could speak to any world leader whom would you chose and what would you ask? |
Josef Stalin, I would want to know if the mustache got too much food in it when he ate...
snow: Shovel, blow or just let it melt? |
Let it melt. Or throw salt on it. also, write your name in it.
What kind of shoes do you like? |
Comfy, understated ones. Good ol' brown shoes.
Have you seen anything bizarre this week? (I saw some pigeons doing it) |
This week eh? Let's see...I found out a good piece of information. "Despite being dead, race jockey Frank Hayes won his race at Belmont Park NYC in 1923. Hayes died of heart failure just before his mount, and his horse Sweet Kiss crossed the line carrying his passed passenger all the way with him"
I guess that's close nuf eh? Favorite thing to do downtown? |
Well, I live thisclose to downtown, so it's not too exciting to "go downtown". However, there is an outdoor mall that hubby and I enjoy walking through and browsing for fun.
What's your sign, baby? |
Pisces...love the water sign.
What's the worst pick-up line you've ever heard? ;) |
is that really your last name?
what's the most frightened you've ever been? I'm talking totally thinking you are about to die, frightened. |
Is that a bottle of Windex in your pants? 'Cause I can sure see me in 'em.
ever learned how to undizzy yourself after the Teacups ride at Disney? (I did, woo hoo!) |
I went hiking once and climbed to the summit of a mountain... I got apicture up here of me on the top if anyone cares to see it. Almost to the top it started to get pretty windy and the temperature dropped alot. The rocks were pretty darn loose and I was getting tired holding on, I honestly thought I might fall. I was absolutely terrified. I had a good friend with me who kinda helped me out and encouraging me. When it was all over I couldn't help but think about how amazing it was. I can not wait to do it again! I hope to get another 3 summits under my belt this summer.
And I have never been to Disney land, but we have a crappy park here in Calgary and I have never managed to 'undizzy' myself. (I don't think spinning in the opposite direction would work...) Have you ever seen something and just had such a huge mesh of gears in your head, one thing leading to another in your brain, and ended up with a lightbulb at the end? The whole "Hey look at that dog chasing its tail, wait a second! Chasing tail, moving cars, I have a car, going on holidays in my car, girl I like is at holiday, she lives in Edmonton, Edmonton has a mall, Mall has a collectors store, I have a really expensive collectors coin at home I have been meaning to sell!!!" |
Not that I can recall. The gears in my head are often bound on something that I can't quite see. They won't come free until after I've painstakingly gone through the works and found the blockage. Or, by giving my head a good whack and plowing ahead without it.
Can we help you figure out the name of that TV show you can't quite remember the details of, allowing you to sleep again? |
Well, I really don't watch TV often so no...but that was very sweet of you to ask :)
Meat and potatoes, or caviar and escargot? |
