As for Calgary's new City Hall, unfortunately the sterile windows and the sharp edges make it look like any other soulless building.

It is on Montreal, it is not a door. The lighting is pretty bad becuase it is backlit and I don't have a good handle on my camera features.

Your second photo was a big help. I was able to discern the edge of a subway platform in it. Did you take that from across the tracks on the other platform, or did you climb down on the tracks to do it?

The billboard is significant for what it contains as well as its location. And as I've said before, there's no advertisement on it, but there is something ruby red on it.
