Have any of you guys tried shaving with the Gillette M3 Power? I wanted to know if it's better then a Mach 3 Turbo for shaving the scrotum and around the base of my unit. How does the vibration feel? Does it offer me a closer shave?

So much good advice on shaving!! The right razors and lotions, and cremes... I havent ever had too many problems with it but I've now read 19 pages of people with hairy sacs! I have the urge to shave my balls right now.

I bought the M3 power and man it is amazing this thing can really shave your sac!

i use the women's silk effects plus and aveeno's therapeutic shave gel...it took several shaves but now i dont get any redness when i shave within a couple of days of each other....also with the razor its alot harder to knick urself....i think i am gonna go take a shower and do it now lol

Yeah a razor is better I tried to trim with a pair of scissors caught some skin screamed out and never tried again...

Mach3 in shower is all I need. (disposables are for white trash!)

Took me 3 weeks to grow it back to normal about 1.5 years ago when I was curious. The feeling the next day was horrible. Hair stubs don't belong in that region. I would just recommend trimming once every 2-3 months or so.

I just have a question.

I'm not sexually active, and just like the feeling of being trimmed down there, but why not use the same one for my face?

For me in regards to the stubble, it doesn't become annoying until 2-4 days after teh shave, or until it gets longer and more stiff. The fine stubble doesn't bother em that much. I find that if I want it very smook not just smooth with the grain, I will shave the 4 main points of the compass rose, and justs take more care on the upstroke, i've nicked myself, but its not that big of a deal, I don't even bother to stem the flow of blood because it stops in a matter of seconds. The first time it happened it freaked me out, but now it doesn't bother me. I don't know how long it takes to gro in to a fairly long level because I just keep trimming it cus I like it smooth except for a patch. And you don't really have to worry about going against the grain on the sac, just take your time if you are nervous.

I am less concerned with my penis than I am with the fact that I was bored enough tonight to read this whole dick size thread.

I can understand shaving up top, but shaving the balls seems like a risky prospect. The scrotum is not smooth, and the amount of veins and such lurking about make it seem like an uncomfortable/borderline dangerous undertaking. How does one handle such an uneven surface?

Nothing to shaving the balls, just lather it up and stretch the skin tight and shave away. I've been doing it for years and never a single nick. :thumbsup:

If you have a woman in the house (in my case my wife) I use her Venus razor, balls and shaft. Better than Mach 3 or Turbo. (also rinses better/easier), maybe the blades are further apart.

i ussually just keep my pubes trimmed or saved to minimal lengths.. but i havn't shaved in like a month soo it's getting long... i want to figure out a way to maybe leave a patch of hair or something left down there that would look cool... like how girls leave patches down there... but something that would work for a guy and be neat... i tried leaving a small patch above my penis once... but back then i left the top of my pubes there soo people couldn't tell i shaved if my pants ever rode low, but the results of that were bad and i just shaved it.... but now i'm confortable with being all shaven and trim/shave as much hair as i want...

What I do is wax the equivalent of a male brazilian, so I have a patch abotu 1 1/2 inches wide by 3 inches long above the penis, and that I keep clipped to about 1/4 inch.
