Well, I can do unbzete's: It's Blackbeard the pirate, summoned into jury service by the Devil Flanders in the matter of Homer's soul. Also, darens42 is Homer, reading a note from Flanders when the Simpsons are using the Flanders' beach house.

However, keyshawn's has me mystified, as does the apparent breakdown in the "Answer and ask" system.

Mine will be..."Where's Sideshow Bob and that guy who eats people and takes their faces?"

Comic Book Guy, the king of all sarcasm, I think.

"Yo, um, I must have like fallen on a bullet and it, like, drove itself into my gut."

"Yo, um, I must have like fallen on a bullet and it, like, drove itself into my gut."

that is snake...who else totes guns on that show? well....maybe one other guy *hint*

"No, I said, powerless to help you."

hmm, Is this Fat Tony..or perhaps one of his henchmen? not sure, from the same episode--

"gimmie 3 fingers of milk, mom."

theo5222 11-02-2004 08:44 PM

cool beans

Gilbert Goseyn 11-02-2004 09:02 PM

i could be wrong, darens42 has been a tough cookie when it comes to quotes, perhaps it's lenny? no no wait i think it got it monty burns?

hehe, i'm sorry i think i'm breaking the rules....but...I...Just...Can't...Resist...

"mmm, Pointy"

Bonus:
what was pointy

Kadath 11-03-2004 08:17 PM

darens42 was tough because it was a guest character -- George H.W. Bush.

"Mmm, pointy" -- Homer, likely. And I imagine he was eating something horrendous and inedible.
"Gimme three fingers of milk, mom." -- Bart, likely.

Enough with the cleanup! Mine is:

"In your face, space coyote!"

Tralls 11-04-2004 09:26 AM

"In your face space coyote" is Homer after figuring out marge is actually his soul mate. Great episode and cameo by Johnny Cash. My favorite line in that episode is when the coyote starts chewing on Homer's leg and then says "Sorry homer, i AM a coyote ..." perfect line for Johnny!

here's the next one.

"Hey Bart, you remember Alf. Well now he's back...in pog form!"

stevie667 11-04-2004 09:43 AM

I think that one was milhouse, but don't quote me.

my one:

'...unprocessed fish sticks...'

pixelbend 11-04-2004 11:03 AM

yep that's millhouse and the fish sticks quote is Homer from one of the Treehouse of Horrors episodes.

Instead of a quote, here's trivia:
What is the name of the video game Bart steals from the Try-and-Save?

Kadath 11-04-2004 02:40 PM

Bonestorm(not Lee Carvalo's Putting Challenge).

Regular Simpsons Trivia died a slow death a while back. More quotes!

"Oops, my finger slipped. Oops, my finger slipped. Oops, my finger slipped."

thanks for the compliment - its just that i love this show...

anyways - the quote was actually in honor of the elections - It was Prez George H Bush from the ep when he moved in across the street from Homer

Oh, I knew Santa wouldn't have time to check that list twice!

zerosk8 11-05-2004 10:03 AM

"When I grow up, i'm going to Bouvine University!" - Ralph

Lisa! Also, the traditionally accepted spelling is "D'oh." :D

It occurs to me I missed the latest Treehouse of Horror tonight...oh well.

"We'll do anything you say. Anything!"

R-Dubb604 11-07-2004 08:04 PM

some old lady "pennywhistles and moonpies"

Mzm 11-09-2004 04:53 PM

lisa and bart at a smashing pumpkins concert or some festival,

quote lisa:

"hmm....that smells like otto's jacket"

I enjoy the people who can't get their arms fully around the concept of this thread.

Here is a recap, for those who came late to the thread: this is trivia, of sorts. A person gives a quote. You guess the speaker and then repeat the process. And so it goes, this thing of ours.

A tough one, but I have faith in daren42:
"Did you know Fat Tony's real first name is Marion?"

darens42 11-11-2004 09:22 PM

just when i thought this thread was dead...

is the one time appearance (i think) of Frankie the Squealer

here's one that might be a little tricky:

Ya gotta help me! My daughter found out I'm a jerk!

Harry Cox 11-12-2004 06:02 AM

I know I'm not playing by the rules, but I just saw an episode the other night that I had never seen before and it had a hysterical quote that I just had to post. (I think the last quote might be Krusty, by the way.)

"Looks like this story has a happy ending. Just like my last massage."

looks like you are playing proper now... yes the quote was from Krusty

is that Krusty too? not sure so i'll hold off on a new quote...

Harry Cox 11-15-2004 04:21 PM

No. It was not Krusty.

darens42 11-15-2004 07:18 PM

hmmmm.... i dunno - my last guess is marge

Harry Cox 11-16-2004 05:05 PM

The correct answer was Otto. Next quote:

"You bent my wookie."

darens42 11-16-2004 08:16 PM

that was Ralph & i think it was quoted already...

time for new quote:

I wish there was some other explanation for this, but there isn't.
I'm a murderer. I'm a murderer!

BoltedDown 11-16-2004 08:24 PM

darens42, I believe that was Flanders when his houseplant died.

very well done. do you have a quote for us losers with no life?

BoltedDown 11-16-2004 10:20 PM

Try this on for size (shouldn't be too difficult):

"Ohhh, so your Bart Simpson aye? Well since my breakfast burrito is contriving rapidly I will be blunt, your too late I sold your soul last night."

-BD

pixelbend 11-17-2004 05:27 AM

I believe that is Comic Book Guy.

If I am correct try this one - "Be careful when we capture him! We cannot claim the reward unless we have 51% of the carcass"

JSwiss 11-17-2004 08:46 PM

Homer: "I like my tv loud, my beer cold and my homosexuals FLAMING"
Lenny: (To a guy from REM) "Gotta pee huh?"
Carl: "Lenny and Carl, I like the sound of that"
More to come as I think of more, there are entirely too many great ones

That would be Apu. 51% of Homer would still be a lot of carcass.

"Now Apu, Mrs. Simpson claims she forgot she was carrying that bottle of delicious bourbon, brownest of the brown liquors... So tempting. What's that? You want me to drink you? But I'm in the middle of a trial!"

JSwiss 11-18-2004 07:27 AM

I can't believe I forgot the one Homer quote I use the most, "The problem with relationships is communication, too much communication"

I believe that is Lionel Hutz.

Next one, so simple, yet so funny.

"You sunk my battleship."

Kadath 11-18-2004 01:53 PM

That's Jasper, at Bingo, with Lisa calling the numbers.

"Kill my boss?! Do I dare live out the American dream?"
