here's my current "kids" starting with the 2 K9s
|
hmm... i can only attach one pic?
|
one per post yes. the only way to get several in one post is to host them elsewhere and use the img tag with the links.
cute doggies, btw. :) |
yeah, but on my 2nd post i didn't see an attach option.
i do have a host, i just need to move my pics to another folder. i'll do that after while. oh & thanks SiN! they're good boys :D |

here the boys are again, enjoying the afternoon sun. yeah, it is very high constrast, but i kinda like how they seem to be one with the patio ;) i probably should crop this pic a bit, but for now... here they are! |
Nice looking dogs. Ive got a german shepard myself
|
Nice dogs I love their eyes.
|
They do have great eyes.
|
Looks like they have a bit of Brindle in them. Cute pups - awesome eyes. Hard to tell - does one have different eye colors?

|
Cool puppies.
I've got a Siberian Husky (one blue and one brown eye) and a Yorkshire Terrier. I love how they play. It's a sight. |
Me and my girl, Perdita (that was her name from the pound). Gotta love the "X" on her nose. She only looks like the one in my avatar.

Heres some of my dog, we dont really know what he is, ppl have said he has some german shepherd, belgian shepherd, doberman, greyhound... we just dont know heres some awkward puppy phase pictures http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0VAAKA...38632908293658 [img]http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0UABcOGsY8tvyJe1f988VJ6MflaDXWt25nhd2u!F5kYzhQcvzZwlM4nOWZGcV8p0xEwdp8eOny3MnDIA*RR6gMR6EEnHHi79xppQzLwMLtMVE1I2Q2gkq4qRnAABMNgAA/zeke%203%20months3.jpg?dc=4675438632752847656[/img] and the not so awkward phase [img]http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0SADuAoEVuwXyJe1f988VJ4aVRLgCZYAgjaWiF9HT62sYjoH*omdix2GrWUJgmff5wmGDzg4mVqaENqa7VxkGtNqlx5nf2zsXjEoydfrDryJAAAAApHIjAg/zeke%20309.jpg?dc=4675438633090187114[/img] [img]http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0SAAAAHoVEQTyJe1f988VJ0PDcwaCl9XTXAE1fRiPBKk1eNVbfZUK6!VY7Dy0TvFz6Fe2pokXWgEi!*A4wwj3eQi2zEootnWt90GV7JD5ZD9CAAAApHKTAg/zeke%20311.jpg?dc=4675438633136393008[/img] ive got a really bad feeling about this rexing out edit: fixin pics |
Great Scott: figo is adorable! what kinda poochie is he?
hotdogg: are your girls show dogs or just pampered high maintenance chicks? :) Micha: Perdita is lovely. looks very sweet. your cats are quite handsome, too. nice names. and yes, one of my dogs has odd eyes. the right one one is sky blue, but the left one is mostly brown with a bit of blue on the bottom. he's a who-knows-what mix we picked up from NARF (nike animal rescue foundation). here you can see his eyes a bit better maybe... |
Thats a neat pic of your dog running, Shpoop.
|
and Shpoop: i love the mix of your dog. what a handsome guy! looks like he might be a fast runner.
made me think of this pic of my boys, cuz of the running pic. the one grabbing the hind leg of the first is an australian cattle dog rescued by petfinder.org from an illegal puppy farm in fresno, ca. we got him at 12 wks old. he'll be 2 late november this year. |
Bernadette...They get thier hair cut every six weeks...They are not show dogs, but do come from a show line...Standard poodles are extremely smart, easy to train, do not shed (thats why they need thier hair cut), love water (they have webbed feet like all retrievers) and weigh in at about 70 lbs. (males go about 85-90 lbs.). Ours are part of the family and are about six years old.
|
yea he is a very fast runner... really fast sprints but he can literally run flat out forever! i tire out throwing him balls before he tires out chasing them... i guess its the long legs and greyhound-esque rib cage... hes also a big herder and hunter, whenever he goes to a dog park or i have a dog over, he tries to heard them all over the house, and he has killed a few rats and treed a fox on the local golf course too... hes just a plethora of dog-personalities

This is the real reason the Minnow wound up on that uncharted island! That's Wilson towards the cabin and Felix on top. They're Chinese Water Dragons. They're actually my son's but guess who gets to clean out the cage?
|
Oh my, lady :)
You sure do have a lot of cats |
yea... some remind me of my cat, who died april of 2002... at 22 yrs old
|
Bern, that caption to the bone picture is hilariously right on target.
My Siberian Husky may not want a pigs ear...but she certainly doesn't want my Yorky to have it either. :) |

Dano: those look like some fun pets. i've never had reptilian kinds of pets myself, but my friends has a good size turtle i adore.
lady: your pic of Moopie Sr. made me go whoa! looks so much like my (deceased) cat, dude. |

for comparison...
|
whoa. i just noticed. lady, your Moopie Sr. looks like he has a human ear in that pic!
@_@ |
bern, great pics.
I have a low quality, but cute picture of my Siberian Husky from my Intel computer camera, but don't have a place to upload. I right clicked your pics, and it looks as if they are hosted at tfproject. How are you doing that? Thanks! :) |
The resemblence between those two cats is uncanny. Losing a pet is one of the hardest things to go through.
|
thats a good many pets mot.
i love the otter pose! i love otters! i never really understood about ferrets, are thay an active reciprocating pet like cats or dogs, or are they just really cute like gerbils? |

Here are some low quality pictures of the crew : Siberian Husky and Tonkenese cat.
|
motdakasha! my goodness you have a small zoo ;)
your ferret is adorable. YAY EeOh1 :) handsome pup! & what i can see of your Tonkenese, s/he is as beautiful as all Tonkenese are. |
Thanks, bern. Wouldn't have figured out how to upload without you. :)

Ugh, I need to get a scanner or a digi-cam battery. Beautiful pets all. And I've always wanted a ferret but I believe they're illegal out here.
|
Wow, bernadette, I'm impressed you have German Shepherds with as varied color as the coats on yours are! Very cool dogs! :)
|
hehe oberon, they're NOT german shepherds.
the one with both eyes blue is an australian cattle dog aka queensland heeler. he was rescued by petfinder.org from an illegal puppy farm in fresno, ca. had him since he was 12 wks old. he'll be 2 yrs late november. our other dog is a "who knows what" since we adopted him from NARF (nike animal rescue foundation) when he was 7 mos old. pretty sure he's just a very nice mix. his coat coloring is called brindle. i do know that much. a variety of breeds have the exact same coat. |
Adding my 2 cents

My choc lab Coco. She was the runt of her litter, but shes the best dog i've ever owned. Got her when she was about 8 months, shes almost 4 now. I've been wanting to get a cat, some of the pictures of the cats in this thread are fabulous. Their curiosity when they are younger is great! Just wish the apartment im in now would allow pets. |

A few months after Charlie died, he adopted this cat, Amber (named for her eyes)
|
1 Attachment(s)
soon after, Amber gave birth to a litter of kittens. Here's the eldest, named Tilly. we originally gave her to our neighbors, who moved out and abandoned her. She's a very sweet cat and always comes running to say hi and "feed me!" when i visit.
here she is being coy |

this is the second eldest, the older boy. the guys were rambunctious, and we gave them both away before we could name them and get attached (about 4 months).

the runt of the litter, Patti (not sure if that's how her name is spelled, my dad took it from some ballet reference). Now she's almost bigger than her mother (both seem to have ballooned into monstrous felines rivalling the late Charlie for the biggest kitties on the block)

This is the picture of my most recent and recently deceases member, Rio. http://numist.net/images/gallery/rio.jpg Yes, my room was messy too... but the right side which she would jump up from was clean for that very purpose. |
thanks, I took all of those pictures... My dad works long days and so I spent almost the whole 3 or 4 months with the kittens, taking care of and playing with them. my dad thanked me for it, cause they turned out very well adjusted and comfortable around humans, which is more than I can say for the numerous feral cats that populate his neighborhood :)

I don't know if there is a post of this yet but thought it could be interesting since we all have our favorite pet or pets
|
What a beautiful cocker! What's it's name?
We used to have a cocker spaniel.... Sandy. She was such a great dog. Her face was just a bit darker than your dogs. How can you not fall in love with those eyes? |
There is a thread on postings of your pets here.
Please do a search if you think that the topic was already covered. |
already posted this once before somewhere around here, but what the hell
