Not my pets, strictly speaking. This is a picture mum took of the new litter of pups. There's ten of them, an ungodly number, and if all goes well every last one of them will end up as somebody's pet.

Here's one of my cats, Mr. Big, chillin in the shade on a hot day.

Mr. Big is adorable. Does he go for tummy rubs?

He loves all forms of affection, but he's got one minor problem. He likes to be pet so much he'll just bite on to your hand or foot or whatever bare skin is closest to keep you from going away. He'll actually chase you if you stop petting him and he isn't satisfied. Everyone at the house gives him a lot of room when walking near him, but I love petting him.

Just a quick update on the pups. They're a month old now and the phone's already ringing off the hook for them.

This is three of the six girls. There's also four boys, making ten altogether. It's amazing that there were that many and that they've all survived.

EDIT - I paid all that money to go back to school and I still can't bloody count. Clearly there are four pups in this picture, not three, meaning this is the boys and not the girls.

Well, I picked up the sister of Flyman's puppy this afternoon. My kids and I haven't picked a name yet, so she's called pup for now. The red dot on her forehead is lipstick so we could tell her apart from the others in the litter.

Oh, please keep the lab pics coming, I love them all... I had a golden lab when I was a kid, and all these pictures remind me so much of him. What sweet little puppies they are.... :D :D :D They make me smile. :)

Here's my most recent JRT. We rescued him about a year ago. He was found as a stray, and taken in by a rescue organization the day he was scheduled to be euthanized. He came with the name "Mikey", but since I already have a JRT, I call this dog "Dudder". (As in "the-other")

oh fly and splck those are the sweetest puppies ever.. I kinda like the name Bindi.. it's cute... :)

Simba...what a handsome boy. My babies step on the keyboard when they think I've been on the computer too long. They haven't thought of sleeping on it....yet. (I just assume Simba is a boy)

This is Gus's 15 seconds of fame, because his "last" vet appointment is tomorrow. He has been the worst dog, temperment wise that we have ever owned. At over 13 years old, he just can't manage any longer. I think we gave him a good life.

This is Rottie, the best dog we have ever owned. He showed up on our property one day and refused to leave. I hope he has many years left, because he is such of cuddle puppy.

Elphaba, I guess Zeke has a pretty similar story to rottie. My cat just died, and 4 weeks later this guy showed up and wouldn't go away (he was only a month old and starving at the time). Friendliest, most well tempermented dog I've ever met.

Ch'i, a few months ago I bought a Canon EOS 20D. I set it on 'Action' mode for the moving dog shots -- 5 frames per second! weeeeeeeeeeee!!!! :) My old camera was IMPOSSIBLE (or darn near) to get any good action shots of the dogs cuz it had a 3.5 second delay, which was painfully frustrating to say the least.

And... I still get some motion blur now & again. :lol:
