My dog found a pacifier... he sucked and chewed it to destruction

Borla 11-28-2009 09:41 PM

I know I've killed some of you guys with the flood of Stanley pics, but I wanted to throw in a few more. :o

Here is a shot of him with my sister's brand new Boston Terrier puppy. He's less than 2lbs in these pictures, and Stanley is just a shade under 70lbs. Also one with him and all the dogs my sister and parents have (all Bostons), and one with him and his new treat, a real cow hoof. :D

Babies grow up so fast. <3

wooÐs 12-03-2009 05:51 PM

I know I know... grainy cell phone pic. But I had to capture the moment. He looks so innocent lol.

He's not feeling very well. Ear infections - the left ear is really bad. Stinks. And getting medicine in him is hell. Poor baby.

Everyone has such adorable animals.

Here is one of my babies. Spike was probably 8 months old in this picture.

wooÐs 12-04-2009 03:10 PM

Aw I had a cat named Spike! He was the most amazing animal ever. Seriously brilliant. LOVED Burger King burgers. He was so sick but he just wouldn't die. I had to aid in that :(. RIP

I am so sorry. I am such a crazy cat lady and I would cry horribly if I lost one.

GenuineGirly, I LOVE your bunny with the cute sweater! This makes me want to have a bunny, but I think my cats would eat it. Well, Spike and Thomas would just play. Xena Warrior Kitten would destroy.

Yay for Spikes!

I had a black leather, spiked collar on him for a little while. It was hysterical, if you knew his personality. He was such a badass 'in the wild,' but really he was just an old, lazy Jewish man in a cat's body.

The black kitteh is gorgeous.

As always, Stanley WILL be mine one day. :o

He isn't. They have five cats: sam, three that look identical except for their size, and one mostly white one that is never to be seen. I'll post more once I crop the pics.

Why thankyou Genuine! He is a fairly happy, relaxed bun! Cinnabunny is adorable! I love her outfits!! As for his breed, the best I or the vet could tell is that he is a dwarf/lop cross. But now that I've looked up hoto a bit, he might be Dwarf hoto/lop. He's not very small, but he's only about 6 months and he's about..4 pounds. Roughly the size of a football. He's not entirely lop, but his ears are too long to be full dwarf, and when he's relaxed or checking things out his left ear flops all the way down. It's very cute actually

Chloe - my friend's dog years ago (RIP now :(,) used to do a little trick. You'd tell her 'gimme a kiss' and she'd stick her snout towards your face so you could kiss her on the mouth. No tongues involved. She'd be perfectly still. The prickly sensation was indescribable otherwise lol. Awww, Chloe.

Hey, is he a fairly calm dog? He looks like it but pics can be deceiving lol.

He is calm almost all the time. Usually once or twice a day he'll freak out for 5-10 minutes at a time wanting to play rough or run around and bark. But he spends most of his time sleeping in 20-30 minute stretches, getting up and stretching, taking about 3-4 steps, then finding the next most comfortable place for a nap. :p

I usually do either take him for a walk, or to the dog park 3-5 times per week. He loves that, and always loves being around other dogs. :)

wooÐs 01-08-2010 05:15 PM

That's one thing I'd be paranoid about, with owning a larger dog like that. They're easy to injure. And once that knee goes out of whack, for example, it'll usually continue to go out of whack off and on for the rest of his life. But I love mastiffs. Any large dog for that matter. They're like having another person in your house but they don't talk and they love to snuggle and stuff lol.

He looks gorgeous though Borla. Very healthy. You should be a proud Poppa :).

What a mess! This is a good reason to neuter/spay rabbits. Along with the fact that they're more willing to use a litter box. My Cinnabunny is a female, and spade, so I'm hoping to get a good 10-15 years of fluffy hoppiness from her. Spaying makes female rabbits less likely to develop uterine cancer, which most die of around age 5.

Here is one of a little Puggle puppy that kept trying to hump Stanley. The problem was that if he stood up high enough to put his paws on him, he couldn't get any thrusting action going at the same time. :D Stanley kept looking at him like "uhh, what are you doing?" and turning real fast to knock him off. :p

Meet Bailey!!

Bailey nearly died to find us. she was in the middle of the road in a very rural area, my wife almost ran her over. After checking with the only two house in the area, my wife decided that she was dumped there and needed to join our family.

We believe she is either a pit or a mastiff. Judging by her size (5lbs.), her teeth, and that her bellybutton is still healing, we think she's about 5 weeks old. The vet agrees, and says that other than a slight heart murmur, she's a pretty healthy girl.

Here are a couple of his dog park buddies. This is Gucci the pitbull. They are inseparable when both at the park. If you ask Stanley anything about "Gucci" he gets all excited.

http://lstwo.com/images/53739537467551627087.jpg

Here is Porter, a Great Dane. He's about the only dog regularly at the park that Stanley gets completely pushed around by when they wrestle. It's hilarious to watch, like two big bucks going at it.

The English Terrier is Marcus, the Vizsla is Cheyenne.

And here he is nomomomomoming on a cow femur.

Honestly, most of the changes the last month or two are pretty subtle. He has only gained about 5lbs, most of it in his head.

Cinn and I are now moved into the apt and we decided to get a puppy. He was a rescue from the shelter and I got him from the lady that rescued him.

Behold, Benjen.

Benjen isn't quite the tiny little fluffball anymore.

Here he is chilling with Mr. Fox back in August:

And here he is today:

Handsome fellow & a good traveler.

I like your signatures, too.

Those are some great looking cat's. I've been eye balling Savannah's for a while, very similar markings on a big cat. I just don't have the $1800 to drop on a kitty. I'll have to find some pics of my two cat's to post.

Meanwhile, I haven't seen any fish, what's up with that?

Compressed catnip balls deserve a bump.
Even for an iPhone shot.

Aww, Raven's so adorable! And hi there, Spikeford & Tommy!

I'm trying to get Benjen acclimated to the pool. He likes rivers and lakes just fine, but with the pool, he suspects I'm going to give him a bath and will have none of it. Apologies for the quality, I was shooting with my phone:

Benjen approves of the new mattress. (And Eden disapproves of Benjen being on said mattress.)

major pet dorkery ahead

I have two short haired black cats, Momo and Ella. They're not related; Momo was adopted as a kitten over 12 years ago, and I adopted Ella as a playmate for him a few months after. She's approximately his same age, maybe a few months older. I hadn't intended on getting two black cats. It just worked out that way.

Mo in front, Ella in the back.
http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o...cs/MoElla1.jpg

Mo, in his younger years, when he used to like to climb the furniture and chew the ribbons on my Tragedy Ann doll. I call this one "separated at birth?"
http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o...pics/MoAnn.jpg

Mo where he shouldn't be: in the laundry basket.
http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o...2-Gloweyes.jpg

Ella, catching some sun and giving me her basilisk stare. She hates having her picture taken.
http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o...cs/Ellasun.jpg

My last kitty pic, I swear. This one is my friend's cat, Muffy. This was taken at my friend's father's house, while Muffy was distracted by the tv.

(Priceless!)

genuinegirly 07-18-2011 02:44 PM

So many adorable black cats!
