You might have to resize it to be smaller, attaching files is limited on tfp.

this is a rescued old doggie that unfortunately only got to live with us 28 months before he developed cancer.
the time we did get to spend together was the best though. this dog was the sweetest happiest old guy & he was so grateful to finally be a spoiled rotten INDOOR pooch. :D

<img src="http://www.hasfurrychildren.com/hasfurrychildren/smileyman.jpg">

you can't tell by this picture, but he was in a lot of pain; however, he did seem to enjoy that last walk before his final trip to the vet... *tears well up*

<img src="http://www.hasfurrychildren.com/hasfurrychildren/smiley/bittersweet.jpg">

he walked around the beach that day will those cheap kiddie sunglasses. not sure they really helped with any UV protection, but he didn't mind them one bit. he did though thoroughly enjoy the attention that the sunglasses brought his way from other folks on the beach.

bernadette 04-09-2004 11:22 PM

awww love thumper!!!!

i had bunny, too...

her name was <b>ester bunny.</b> (purposedly no letter a)
i swear to god she showed up on our back porch on easter sunday1997.

me & the hubby we sitting in the kitchen having breakfast & browsing the newspaper.
i looked out the patio door & there she was!
i said to hubby "omg the EASTER BUNNY is at our back door!'

well cut to the chase... the nextdoor neighbor teenager had found her about 4 miles away the night before & brought her home to keep. (stupid kid)
anyway he put her in their backyard with this humongous dog of theirs...
the scared little rabbit crawled under the fence to safety into our yard.

a couple hours after us discovering the bunny, the neighbor dad knocks on our door & says, "yknow you have a rabbit in you backyard?"
duh, yeah.
he takes the rabbit.
a couple hours later... the teenager asks if we want the rabbit.
i said i really didn't cuz i had 3 cats & 2 dogs at the time... but i told him yeah, i'll take the bunny & try to find its home.
posted flyers everywhere nearby where he said he'd found here. called the humane society, etc.
no one called.
it's eastertime... the humane society will euthanize many rabbits because of this holiday...

so we kept her.
she was the sweetest thing ever.
i had her for 5 yrs.
and i miss her.

this is not the best picture... i will look for more later.
she was difficult to take pics of being all white & the last of contrast. well, at least difficult for me.

<img src="http://www.hasfurrychildren.com/mine/ester_yard_portrait_sm.jpg">

if you read all that... well, bless you : )
