Pebbles, my 6 lb chorkie http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n...m/pebbles1.jpg http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n...m/pebbles2.jpg 75 gallon planted tank... about 30 fish http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n...m/CIMG1504.jpg |
Pepples is adorable. Those eyes! How can you resist those eyes, and the tufts of hair on her face? And I am not a dog person. Maybe I should get a chorkie for my babies....hmmm....
Red? What you think? |

This is Baxter, my water otter. We visited the Chattanooga aquarium, and when I saw the water otters I knew I had found Baxter's ancestors....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...axtercrop3.jpg And Sophia, the smart one. They both have been bouncing off the walls with the cool weather we have been having... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...phiecrop12.jpg |
Baxter, aka "Bubblejuice," and Sophia, aka "Phototwat."

Ok Thought I would post a pic of my girl Natasha, a purebred Siberian Husky. I got her from a shelter about 5 years ago I think she is probably about 8 now hard to tell. She is a sweetheart, goes every where with me.

This is me and my new roommate.
http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c110/TGFM/roomies.jpg She's noisy, especially at night when I'm trying to sleep. She leaves hair all over everything. Sometimes she stinks. But even with all that, I can tell we're going to get on just fine. Oh, and she says Quote:

Shes a beautiful gray!
Be sure you brush her a lot and keep her awake in the day time, the problems will work themselves out! |

The Tribe is quite striking. Mad Frankie Frazier and the Crudler are very charming fellows. The Crudler is soooo handsome. His face is so alive. And, of course Buster is quite charming as well. It looks very beautiful where you live.
|
Thanks Grancey - Yeah they are just that 'A Tribe' :)
It is quite nice where I am,by the river and surrounded by countryside, yet very close to a small Georgian market town in the south of England. The view of Buster was taken about 500 yards from my place.....(just before the fecker jumped in again for the umpteeth time!!!!) |

Taken the day we got him ^ Last year in June, Alpha and I brought home a new puppy. After losing Blacky I was finally ready to have another smallish dog. Alpha named him Victor. He's now 9 months old and still a hyper little monster. Luckily I have the luxury of bringing him to work with me everyday. He's very well socialized with people and other dogs. He's pretty much a Mountain Feist and I think has topped out at 19 lbs. Course he's still getting more muscular but heighth wize I think he's done growing. Knows pretty much to stay away from Artemis and the others if they're grumpy. We do seem to have a problem with him chasing Sniffles. She is too darn nice to smack him silly for it. Cleo absolutely loves to play with him...but not too much. She's getting a little old for playing for hours on end with puppies. http://img45.imageshack.us/img45/9018/hpim2255ua9.jpg Taken tonight.... http://img104.imageshack.us/img104/6433/hpim2259au1.jpg also tonight....His newest trick to try and get what he wants is to sit up and hold his paws together like he's saying "pretty pllleeaaase" *edit Bought Squishy a new tank. a 2.5 gallon min bow with filter. He seems to like it. The flash makes him appear blue but under normal light he is almost all maroonish or red with purple on his fins http://img482.imageshack.us/img482/7/hpim2280gr8.jpg |
Most of the pets are really cute. I have 2 dogs at home, one is a Chihuahua and very cute. I wanted to show you the picture but I don't know how to post pictures.
|
Hey nikita, why don't you join a free image hosting site?? It will be much easier for. You just have to upload your photo and then copy and paste the direct link of the image in the "insert image" box and your picture will appear in your post.
Here you are my two cute little dogs, just adopted it. http://www.2and2.net/files/4653c85603ea1.jpg |

This is the Bad Cat. I swear I pull on his leg sometimes just to see if he'll ding-dong like a bell. Isaac is a pain in my butt. Oh.... and don't mind the mess, please, we'd just moved in. :paranoid:

Well I knew I'd wander into this thread eventually... *grin*

Looks like Ginger is checking out the Petsmart bag. Smart kitty.
|
You have a kitty again! Happy purrrs to you. :)
|
@maleficent, how old is she? I must say, she's lovely. :)
My Parrot, Himmel. We found her (him?) near our house with the wings cut off. http://img505.imageshack.us/img505/2...mmeloutbq7.jpg I had to put my hands inside the cage, which has a narrow entrance, and make the mobile-phone lens face her. I don't think she liked it too much. :P But the pic came off well : http://img114.imageshack.us/img114/8...elagainon3.jpg <3 http://img516.imageshack.us/img516/7...melfullqe4.jpg |
I believe that she's a very young 12 years old - if you asked her - she'd tell you she's still a kitten and the way she chases after strings and fuzz balls I'd have to agree...

Laugh-o-matic, I LOVE that second picture!
Here is the newest addition to our family...Apollo. We got him from someone off of Craigslist after our other cockatiel died. He is feisty, noisy, and absolutely charming :) I think I posted another picture of our other cockatiel, Roofus, but here she is again anyway.... And...the two of them together, just a few minutes ago... |
Ginger is quite a beauty. What a sweety.
And Smudgey and Peanut!..Why, Smudgey has the most gorgeous eyes. And Peanut reminds me a lot of my own Baxter..same eyes, color and body shape.... And although I know nothing about raising birds, Apollo is an interesting looking character... |
Buddy
This is Buddy. i know all cats do strange things, but this one is so funny...he loves plastic bags, or any bag for that matter, hides inside them...he sure stretches out when he sleeps,

Cynthetiq: Whenever I look at the picture of your cats I get a sudden urge to come up with some sort of witty caption for it and upload it to icanhazcheeseburger.com :)
I'm normally not a cat person (dogs all the way!), but you guys have some really cute cats :) Looking at this thread make me miss my dog Frida. My parents may have paid for her and they may take care of her and live with her but she is still my dog :) Luckily Christmas is close so I'll get to see her soon enough :P Fly: I think Frida and your dogs would get along great... Seems like they share the same hobbies (not moving, sleeping, lying down etc.) :) |
OK...was going to make a new thread but found this one instead! Here are out two dogs!
Bella a bernese mountain dog, 6yrs old and very loving! http://ZHPhotography.zenfolio.com/im...17387069-3.jpg And Mendi our brussels griffon, she is only 5 months old! Very fiesty! http://ZHPhotography.zenfolio.com/im...09450090-3.jpg |

PJ, there must be some mistake. Your "Larry" doesn't look anything like my sister's cat "Larry", or my stepdaughter's car named "Larry". Aren't there naming rules or something about the use of Prophet Larry's name?
Better come up with a good one, Bud, 'cuz I think something blasphemous is happening here. :orly: |

this is a great pic........
http://photos-462.ll.facebook.com/ph...23075_9529.jpg this guy an arabian?......... http://photos-c.ak.facebook.com/phot...01294_8087.jpg we have one. he's full of piss and vinegar.......... thanks for the shots.........horses are too cool. |
No, that little guy is not an Arabian. He was a Pony of the Americas.. leapord appaloosa pattern on his bum during the summer. :) He was a stubborn little man.. but definitely the best pony a little girl could ask for. He would do anything for me, including crossing scary rivers and into creepy barns.

Ranger Joe, what is it with your family and amazing blue eyes? Now that's the first blue-eyed cat I have ever seen.
Incredibly cute! |
She is a gorgeous cat! I think she has some persian in her? Which gives her the blue eyes... maybe?
She's a pain in the ass, though. The first cat I've ever had that never got tired of being pet. |
...and i present our family´s 3 dogs who´s names i refuse to use so from furthest to closest it´s the big dog, middle dog (who grew bigger than the big dog) and the tiny dog.

|
lotsofmagnets, those look like a handful, and a lot of fun. Dogs are great.
Quite the devil, PaddyJoe. I like how red light looks against a blackish cat. |
they are an absolute handful. add to that one cat, about 6 chickens, one duck and between 4 & 8 magpies and my parents´ household is pretty busy. we also have geese occasionally driop by and there are a couple of koalas that hang around as well. no kangaroos but we´ve seen a few wallabies. i want to bring my paretns o/s in the coming year but who´s going to maintain the hoard?
|
Oh my goodness!!! I've never heard of so many adorable and non-standard pets in one place.
|
it´s something that happened over time. it all seemed like a good idea at the time then suddenly we have more animals than yard space. i forgot about the pond so add a few goldfish and various frogs as well :s i´m starting to think about mebe getting me either a pet rat or bird here in iceland but i would only get either animal if i didn´t need to cage it. my mum has instilled in me a strong opinion of containing animals (the chickens and duck are the only animals with a fence around them for their own safety and everyday, under supervision they are allowed into the yard for a few hours even though the coop is very large.)
|
just found a rare picture of our cat. 16 years old and still looks like a kitten. notice how much the magpie and the cat care about each other. whn the magpie wanted cat food the cat was more tha happy so share...

Today I found our dog. His name is Simba and he is awesome. I feel like I found a lost prince. He's so well behaved (he even knows 'sit,' 'shake' and 'lay down,' lol) and he's a fluffy hugabee, too. He luxuriates in affection.
Pictures aren't that great - I haven't wanted to harass him too much with the camera. I suspect he will be a great model for me, though. But here is Simba, the little bear that now lives in our house. :hearts: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3407/...32510de1_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3300/...98218807_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3409/...cc984fa6_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3511/...5d76ce19_b.jpg |
That is one beautiful animal you have found, MM. I look forward to seeing your future pictures of the new arrival.
|
I am so in love with our new dog...took him to the dog park on Friday which is quickly becoming one of my favorite places. Didn't get many interesting photographs, but we are going back to today and I'm going to try some different things. But I got a few pictures of Simba. Our manbear.
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3389/...12a66b94_b.jpg he'll never admit it, but he liked this... http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3323/...24a4e0f4_b.jpg ...and my daughter will probably kill me for posting this picture of her :p http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3547/...b6114194_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3358/...f362d18a_b.jpg Simba says whee. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3412/...03808e9b_b.jpg Thank you for your patience while I wax ecstatic about my dog. |
That last picture of Simba is fantastic, mixedmedia.
Simba appears to be an exceptionally wonderful dog. My Prince boy always is deep in thought, he is thinking thinking thinking all the time. You should see the games he makes up, he will arrange his bones and toys and then talk to them, and he makes his toys interact with each other. I have some video of his playtime with his friends...it's charming. http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/h...y/DSC_0119.jpg |
More of the Princer.
Prince helped me overcome my distaste for small dogs. He adopted me, and gave me a chance. He's not the mindless yappy sort. He's all dog - in a 10 pound package. http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/h...y/DSC_0339.jpg http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/h...y/CSC_0346.jpg |
