Top 10 Favorite Games of all time!

I know we've done this here before, but as time passes, we discover new and old games, and our opinions change and mature. I figure now is a good time to get this going once more, right before the start of the next generation of gaming. Let's try not to turn this into a flaming thread though. This isn't gamefaqs, so we should be ok. Be sure to include the game's platform with the title.

That said, are my all- time favorites. Games I enjoyed the most.

Edit: Everyone else had descriptions. I added some too

1. Lunar: The Silver Star Story (PSX remake) Few games have touched me like this one did. Just a beautiful game with a beautiful story.

2. Super Mario Brothers 3 (NES) The best Mario game ever made. Now probably my most played GBA game. Part of it's draw was that if you turned it off, you lost your place, so you kept playing for hours.

3. Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (Genesis) This was my most played Sonic. This was my first Sonic, and I spent soo much time playing it. Still do.

4. Final Fantasy VII (PSX) My first Final Fantasy. It's my favorite, as it is for many people, because it was my first.

5. Metal Gear Solid (PSX) It blew me away. I didn't get into it until I saw MGS2 screens actually... The graphics were better than most PSX games, and the story was among the best game stories ever told. Truly a cinematic experience.

6. Galaga (discovered it on NES) My dad's fav' game. He got me hooked. We had borrowed it from a friend of the family for NES. Then bought it when it came out on GameBoy. This is, next to Tetris, my most played GameBoy game.

7. Metal Gear Solid 3 (PS2) I put off playing this for half a year. When I did, I was glad I waited, because I got it in the summer, and was able to play it through in almost one sitting. What was it, 18 hours? It's like watching a really long movie, and it holds your attention all the way though.

8. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (GB) Again, my first Zelda. I love the others I've played, but this one takes the cake.

9. Chrono Trigger (SNES) One of the best RPG's ever made.

10. Perfect Dark (N64) If this game could be ported to PC... Don't change the design. Maybe tweak the graphics a little. Mouse for control. It would be the only game I played. I still play it religiously. Wish it could be re-released for DS... It's a perfect game, but it's age is starting to show. I'll still play it into the next gen of gaming.

It's probably too early for me to add this, but I'll give honorable mention to CastleVania: Dawn of Sorrow for the DS. I don't like to list games I just bought in these lists though. This game is just incredible. In gameplay, better than Symphony. There's a bunch of other titles to mention, but I'm cutting myself off at 10. Who's next?

1. Doom (PC) -- nothing else really compared to the game that set me off on the FPS path

2. Quake (PC) -- I spent immeasurable time after-hours at work playing this when it first came out

3. Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes (Gamecube) -- I loved MGS, and with the updated graphics/etc., TS has become one of my all-time favorites.

4. Metal Gear Solid 3 (PS2) -- The story in MGS3 was great, I really enjoyed the ending regarding The Boss, and the whole game was just a lot of fun to play.

5. Timesplitters: Future Perfect (PS2) -- I may be a little biased on this one, as one of my best friends helped create it, but I've gone through the entire game on coop and single player and done almost all of the challenges, and it never gets old.

6. Gran Turismo 4 (PS2) -- I was trying to decide whether to put down 3 or 4, and I think that the vast selection of cars as well as the graphics make me pick 4 over 3

7. Mercenaries (PS2) -- Action/Adventure in a fairly non-linear fashion (you can travel over most of war-torn Korea doing pretty much as you please, and your actions actually make a difference in the game (you have to pay bribes to get missions if you piss people off, etc.).

8. Soul Calibur II (PS2) - Classic fighting game, I've spent way too many hours drinking beers and battling "just one more to see who's the best!" with friends.

9. Ninja Gaiden Black (XBox) -- I only recently got an XBox (within the past month) and this is one of the two games I own for it, but I just can't stop playing. It's brutally hard, but I don't mind because I'm having so much fun.

10. Forza Motorsports (XBox) -- My other XBox game. I love racing games, and though the selection of cars isn't as large in Forza as it is in GT4, I'm thoroughly enjoying playing both games - they each have their merits.

Whew - that wasn't easy coming up with 10 games that I really thought were my favorites. There are tons of PC games that I loved playing (Doom 3, Grand Theft Auto, Half-Life, etc.), but I tried to go - on each platform I own - for the games that really sucked me in and ate up my life for weeks on end. I think I've got a pretty good spread of games out there.

I had a really hard time coming up with a top 10, because there are so many games I'd like to mention. I also had a hard time deciding exactly what it was that made a game end up in my top 10, so I gave a little explanation for each one. For games that were series, I picked my favorite one game from the series to represent the whole thing.

1) Chronotrigger (SNES)
One of the first RPGs I ever played, as well as one of the best, and it still holds a place very dear in my heart. There's not much to say about it, except it's one of the best games ever. It should be on everyone's top 10.

2) Metroid Prime (GameCube)
I grew up playing Metroid games, and I was skeptical when I heard that it was going to be turned into a platformer/shooter hybrid, but I was amazed at how well it was done. It ended up being my favorite of the Metroid games because it took the classic style and improved upon nearly every aspect of gameplay. I got more pissed at this game than nearly any I've ever played (Omega Pirate and Metroid Prime can lick my ass hole), but when I beat it I just felt so god damn good.

3) Half-Life (PC)
I'm including Counter-Strike and Day of Defeat with this one, but that's mainly so that I don't have to take up other slots with those two. I loved the single player; it was more challenging (the first time) than much I had played before, and the plot was interesting. And I've spent a fairly significant portion of my life playing CS and DoD. I've sort of outgrown them both, but they're still lots of fun to play once in a while. I'm thinking I may get DoD: Source to see what it's all about.

4) Goldeneye (Nintendo 64)
The shiznit, if you will. I can't count the number of nights I spent eating pizza and playing this with 3 friends. Diverse single player campaign combined with spot-on multiplayer split screen action. Hot damn.

5) Rainbow6 (PC)
My first true love. Not the first game I played, nor even the first game I played a lot, but it was the first true modern style FPS I ever played, and it was the first game I ever played in clan matches in. I played so many multiplayer matches, and I got so good that I ended up doing very well in competition. When my clan broke up, though, I found I had less interest in playing. That was also about the same time I discovered girls, so that may have had something to do with it.

6) Final Fantasy VI (SNES)
This might be the only Final Fantasy game I've completed (with the exception of "Mystic Quest," though that doesn't really count.) Excellent story and gameplay. The best of the Final Fantasy games as far as I'm concerned, and that's saying a lot. I'm limiting myself to one FF game in my top 10, and this one gets the spot.

7) The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64)
This was actually a toss up between Ocarina and Wind Waker. The gameplay is very similar in the two. Overall I feel the Ocarina plot and puzzles are a little more compelling... but then again it does have that god damn water temple. It's close, but I'm going with Ocarina.

8) Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (PC)
A Star Wars game, in the D&D style. Of course I love the game. Again, this is a toss up between the first and the second. I felt the first had a superior plot and character development, but the second really had better gameplay mechanics. I would expect them to improve that in a sequel, though, so I'm gonna stick with the first as my pick.

9) Super Mario Brothers 3 (SNES)
The best platformer ever. I'm almost ashamed to admit it, but I only ever beat it once. And that time I think I just got lucky.

10) Quest for Glory V (PC)
Basically a hybrid between the old Sierra or LucasArts style puzzle games (think Monkey Island) and an RPG. Two of my favorite genres, mashed into one, done by the same people who did King's Quest and Leisure Suit Larry. Plus you could take a character all the way from QfG 1 to QfG 5, which was majorly cool.

Wow, I look like a major Nintendo fanboy. I'm not, I swear! I just like the games! Don't hurt me.

There are really too many to list, but a few that I had a really hard time keeping out of the list: Doom II, Soul Calibur II, Metal Gear Solid, Command and Conquer: Red Alert, Warcraft III... alright, I should stop.

Yeah, i do think we've done this before... but i'm game (no pun intended). My selection will also be very Nintendo-centric. I've owned nearly every Sega, Sony and MS (not to mention PCs) system yet produced... it's just that Nintendo produced games are consistently more fun to me than others.

In random order...

1. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - no game combined a sense of exploration and adventure, production polish, and innovation on an established genre like this one did.

2. Donkey Kong Country 2 - original play mechanics, responsive controls, outstanding graphics, killer soundtrack, loads of fun.

3. Galaga - first arcade game i can remember playing. millions of dead space-bugs later and i haven't looked back

4. Goldeneye - the only fps i've played over and over. deep, balanced, fun... what more can you ask?

5. Street Fighter 2 - i like the old school 6 button 2d fighters. when you play someone good, it's like a game of chess played at warp speed. this title executes what it intends to very well.

6. Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening - i've finished several FF's, Chrono Trigger, Golden Sun... and the rest. no turn-based rpg touches the action rpg, and no action rpg touches this title.

7. Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island - the zenith of Miyamoto's 2D exploration, and it shows.

8. Super Mario 64 - although it blew away every one of its contemporaries, it has aged some. this game brings back some good memories... i think that's the main reason why it remains a favorite.

9. Super Smash Bros. Melee - direction stick + 4 buttons = the deepest fighting game of all time? yeah, it's strange but true. i used to hate this game till i "got it", i'm now an addict.

10. Tetris - if crack were made of 0's and 1's... it would be called Tetris.

Not too much further down the list:

Tekken Tag Tournament
Grand Tourismo 4
Super Mario Bros. 3
Pilotwings
Starcraft
MarioKart
Counterstrike/Team Fortress
Chrono Trigger
PunchOut!
Final Fantasy 7

10. Super Mario 3 - As someone who was in the prime of his childhood when it was released, how could I not put it here...I mean, from the ad campaign to it's appearance in "the Wizard," to the game itself...well I don't need to sa anymore.

9. Super Mario Kart - Many hours of bonding (and fighting) with my brother in the split screen mode. Still has a rarely matched sense of momentum.

8. Dark Forces II: Jedi-Knight - Huge levels which really used height well. Possibly the most elegant light-sabre combat system and my personal introduction to internet multi-play.

7. System Shock 2 - Atmosphere! I crapped my pants a few times when I first played this. One of the few games I've replayed all the way through on numerous occasions.

6. Half-Life 2 - Physics, gravity-gun, vicious crossbow, final level was the biggest cock-tease in gaming history. Most of you have played this and know what I'm talking about.

5. Grim Fandango - The best story ever in any game. Truly a work of art.

4. Ultima 7 - Hmmm...well apart from the awesome villain randomly shouting at you from your subconcious (and when this was out, speech in games was a pretty big deal, so, again I shit my pants a lot), the game was a great example of creating a believable world. People had their daily schedules, most objects were interactive (you could bake bread and forge swords), and who could forget the bank robberies!!!

3. Ultima Underworld 2 - One of the finest role-playing games ever, and it was fully a part of the Ultima universe. An earlier triumph of 3D role-playing!! All the details were super-cool, like the eating and the weapon decay..somehow didn't get annoying. And the runic magic system!? Damn that was cool.

2. X-Wing - I've spent more time playing this game than any other game ever. Probably the first good Star-Wars game. The near-fulfillment of the dream of being in Star Wars.

1.Baldur's Gate II - The best role-playing game ever. I played this one summer, then I finished it again the next summer, then I finished it again the next summer. The magic system actually introduced a very complex level of strategy. A role-playing game where changing your tactics could actually matter more than your stats.

Little known...

Kostya's Avatar

Location: Brisbane, Australia
In chronological order:

1. Paratrooper.
1989-1992
Our mega ancient monotone IBM which we'd had since before I was born was where I discovered computer gaming. Many an hour was spent in those early days ruthlessly slaughtering faceless thousands as they dropped from hostile planes and choppers. The carnage, the intensity of the bombing round, the satisfaction of wiping out men on the ground with perfectly timed falling debris...

2. Golden Axe
1989-1993
In them days, cafes were called milkbars still, and there were a lot more actual arcades in suburban areas. I still vividly recall the vast amounts of what was then valuable change expended on this timeless gem. 20c a pop Australian currency. Golden Axe stands out as the greatest and most enduring of a now long forgotten age of side scrolling fighters which included Double Dragon and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game. Golden days.

3. Prince of Persia
1990-1991
The acrobatics, the completely ridiculous later levels. It made for one of the longest computer game crusades of my young life, outstripped only by the Captain Comic campaign of the previous year which me and my friend tried to complete by alternating between levels.

4. Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo Edition
1992-1994
When a friend got one of those new fangled 'Super' Nintendos, there was one game that had my thumbs quite literally bleeding, and it was the ultimate SF2 manifestation. The strategic progression from frenzied jump kicking to constant use of Blank's low punch, low punch, electrocution move to the soiphistication of Chun Lee acrobatics. This stuff made Duck Hunt on my conventional NES much much less appealing.

5. Mortal Kombat 2
1994-present day
By the time we finally managed to obtain a SNES of our own when our Nan accidentally won 2nd prize in a raffle, SSF2T was passe. I recall the day me and MK met, in an arcade downtown in Brisbane when I was mesmerised by the 'Insert Coin' sample of Sub Zero's classic spine/skull removal fatality. MK2 ruled the SNES for a long time, until my little brother got too good with Liu Kang, but I still sneak the odd game in.

6. Doom 2
1995-1997
Cd/Doom2/etc - MSDOS, now there was an operating system back in Dickety three.
I played the first Doom and loved it, but never owned it since we still had the 5 1/2 inch Paratrooper disk inserted into the IBM from 1982 at that point. When we finally did get a new rig, complete with colour monitor and 'sound blasters', Doom 2 was the one game that didn't suck which we had installed. Sadly no longer installed on any of our systems, though we do have the disk around here somewhere.

7. Command and Conquer
1996 - 1999
Not only was this my introduction to the RTS genre, but it was possibly the first time I ever found myself actually singing to the soundtrack despite it's crapness. I would go on to play Red Alert 1 & 2 and Generals, but none of them quite measured up to the greatness of discovering the whole RTS world.

8. GTA Vice City
2002 - present
You might notice the gap, I still played games, but nothing really took hold of me for that period. There had been good games in those times, such as GTA2 ironically, but nothing truly brilliant. Vice City I bought before GTA3 because it came out just before I finally got around to buying a PS2, since we were always one step behind the times. Was there anything greater than gunning down a pack of Haitians as you speed by on a dirtbike listening to Survivor? I think not.

9. Rome Total War
2004-present.
I've always loved the Total War series, but this one has particularly endured for me. With Barbarian Invasions now in store I've had to cripple myself in order to finish my thesis before I get it.

10. Guild Wars
2005-present
My first ever MMORPG. Sure, I'd played RPG's in the past, starting with Faximandu on NES and before that MUD games on DOS. Finally I discovered what the whole phenomenon has been about. I felt like Jeremy teh pwnerer when he discovered WOW after a career without MMO's, except without any RTS skillz.

Team Fortress Classic (PC) - Again, one of the best multiplayer experiences I've had
Final Fantasy VII (PS1) - My first ever foray into the world of RPG's and still the best I've played
Burnout 3 (PS2) - The fastest, most balls-to-the-wall racer ever!
Hmmmm, this is harder than I thought it would be.....
Sensible World of Soccer (Amiga) - The best football game ever. Period!
Streetfighter 2 (Any) - You all already know about this
Colin McRae Rally 2.0 (PS1) - IMO, the best racing simulation ever. None of the series since has bettered it
Resident Evil (PS1) - The original and still the best survival horror
Alien Vs. Predator (PC) - One of the scariest and most atmospheric games ever
Mario Kart (N64) - More excellent multiplayer antics

Honourable mentions.....Goldeneye (N64), Wings (Amiga), Defender of the Crown (Amiga), Smackdown 3 (PS2) with a multitap + keg!, Half Life 1 & 2 (PC)

-Wasteland - post-apocalyptic rpg, damn near impossible, first game I discovered "secret" material in. I know only 2 other people who actually played this.
-Civilization 3 - the number of times I'd be playing this and then, "it's starting to get light outside again..."
-Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne - they don't call it "warcrack" for nothing
-Warcraft 2 - playing this in the High School Journalism Lab-good memories
-Metal Gear Solid (ps1) - great characters
-Grand Theft Auto 3 - an obvious revolution in gaming, will be influencing games for another 20 years
-Utopia (Intellivision) - no I'm not THAT old, but a friend had this system and we would play this instead of his NES, first ever RTS that I'm aware of.

10. Goldeneye - This game was a blast to play on the N64, and it was the first game to get me addicted to multiplayer games. I spent countless hours finding ways of killing the bad guys, finding cheats, and, of course, license to kill with four people

9. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - The first 3D zelda game, Ocarina surpassed my expectations. The graphics were (for the time) beautiful, the characters unique, and the ocarina system was brilliant.

8. Call of Duty - Very rarely does a game succeed in making me panic, scream in terror, and hide behind my chair. And it wasn't even a horror game! The gritty and frantic WWII battles in the single player are some of the best set pieces in a game.

7. Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn - This was my first introduction to Dungeons and Dragons, and the plot was amazing. The hand-drawn backgrounds are still beautiful compared to today's standards.

6. Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II - This game was the first game I ever played, so it has a special place in my heart. It got me addicted to computer games, and I am still trying to break that addiction today.

5. Final Fantasy VII - The plot and graphics blew me away, and had some of the most memorable characters in ANY medium. Cloud, Sephiroth, and Aeris are three of the most widely known video game characters of all time.

4. Rainbow Six - This game was extremely innovative, and many games attempt to "copy" it's ideas, but rarely surpass them. The multiplayer was genius.

3. Halo 2 - Now, I know that it isn't one of the best games ever made, but some of my most memorable gameplaying experiences have happened while playing this game, all at a friends house, while drunk, high, or both. Halo 2 LAN parties are legendary.

2. Half-life series - Technically, these are two games, but both of them tie as my second place for several reasons. The first Half-Life blew everyone away, making it the primary game that FPS's look on to make their games. The mod community bolstered this series, with games like Counter-Strike and Day of Defeat. Half-Life 2 builds on the first one, making it better and starting new mods, while improving old ones.

1. Diablo II - I don't play this game anymore, because of my severe addiction ot it. Once I start playing this game, I will go for YEARS without going outside. Really. It is that bad. I wasted my middle school years because of this game, and half of my high school years. Because of this damn, awsome game, I am skinny as hell, pale, and have just now started to learn social skills. I haven't played this game in two years, and that is probably a good thing. I dream about this game. When I read anything about it, I start reminesing about the "good ol days". I can't remember most of my middle school years because I spent them playing this game every day until I went to sleep. I miss this game. I often wonder if my old friends online still play this game, and with which characters. I had more friends on this game than I ever did in real life.

haha, it's soo true. And on another note, I'm tired of being told Ocarina was the first Zelda game... I guess this relates...

Glad to see a good mix of PC/console current/new in these lists. I mention this sort of thing at school and the responces are either all NES games or all Xbox games released since this June.

I'm really surprised so many of you put Galaga! Alot of my friends had never even heard of it till I mentioned it. One of two reasons I carry a Gameboy Pocket still (camera-dj being the other). And Lunar! Yes YaWhateva!

- Parasite Eve 2 (PS) - Probably my FAVE fave game ever. Bring on a sequel.. please..

- Soul Calibur 2 (PS2) until Soul Cal. 3 comes out

- Marvel vs Capcom 2 (PS2) everyone probably loves it more in the arcades, but then again, I don't own an Arcade machine.

Final Fantasy 7 | PS - Probably the most involving game I've played
God Of War | PS2 - You know when you're playing a game, and you think "Why didn't the company just wait one more month to make this game, and fix all this little tiny things". This is the most polished game I've ever played.
Codename Eagle | PC - The game that DICE made before Battlefield 1942. Actually a pile of crap, but damn, those multiplayer memories. Legendary.
WWF Royal Rumble | Sega Megadrive - Good memories.
Sonic 2 | Sega Mastersystem - More memories, this time of calloused thumbs and broken controllers.
California Games | Sega Mastersystem - Footbag anyone?
Megalomania | Amiga 500 - The one time I got this old Amiga to work, this was the game I played. It was probably crap, but it was fun at the time.
Worms | PC - All of them except 3D.
Lost Vikings | Sega... Something... maybe - Can you think of anything better to do with 3 hairy Nordic men? Don't answer that.
Magic: The Gathering | TCG - I've probably spent more money on this that all my video games combined, and loved every minute.

Hail to the bane of productivity, indeed.

10. Berserk (Atari 2600) - Nostalgia! this was the first video game I ever remember playing. I still have found memories of my father playing this with me.

9. Altered Beast (Genesis)
- Nostalgia again, this is the first videogame I actually owned. I have lots of memories of this game and the Xmas I got it and my Sega. I still remember when we figured out not to plug the one controller we had into the two player slot. That was why two people kept appearing on screen when I hit start. -.-

8. Streets of Rage II (Genesis)
- Ever since I played this game I've had a soft spot in my heart for good old school beat 'em ups. I love this game more than even Battle Toads or Double Dragon. Just last month I plugged this one up to see how far I could get on the Mania diffculty setting.

7. FFXI (PC/PS2)
- This game has made my list for one simple reason, the people I know online. The game itself I lost interest in a long time ago, however my friends keep pulling me back in.

6. Tetris (PC) - Who doesn't have memories of playing this on Gameboy or NES?

5. Goblins Quest 3 (PC) - This is just a silly puzzle adventure game that has enough charm that I remember it fondly several years after beating it. Nothing is truly note worthy about it other than I like it.

4. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (Xbox) - The best modern platform game I've played ever. I love everything about the game from the setting to the music, the only draw back is the combat can be a bit simply at times.

3. Eternal Darkness (Cube) - Survival Horror games never really appealed to me past the first one I played, Alone in the Dark, all those years ago. The RE games have been okay, they seem to be more of a chore to finish than fun. This game however rekindled my love of the genre. This is hands down the most fun I've ever had playing a survival horror game.

2. Planescape: Torment (PC) - The best story based RPG I've ever played. It gets 10 out of 10 stars. Wonderful graphics for the time period and still pretty even by today’s standard. A key point beyond the game play and the story is the music. The music for this game fits Planescape better than 90% of the music in any game to date.

1. Baldur's Gate Saga: 1-2 and the expansions (PC) - This game is number one for a few reasons. I loved the single player game: the setting, story, graphics, sound and basically the whole nine yards. However, the biggest reason this is number one on my list is because of the multiplayer. Nothing gives me more fond memories than playing this online with friends. Everyone once in a blue moon I'll still AIMs from a few buddies about this game. We’ll all reinstall the game and try beating a few of the mods for the game we never actually finished. Now where did I put my game saves…

I haven't played much since the first Quake, but I can't resist...

<b>Commando - Commodore 64</b>

<b>Mission Impossible - C64</b> <i>"Stay awhile. Stay foreeever! ha ha ha!"</i>

<b>California Games - C64</b> - Surfing was my favourite

<b>Winter Games - C64</b> - Freestyle ski jumping was great.

<b>Forbidden Forest - C64</b> - The scary music was terrifying.

<b>Lemmings - PC</b> - The original side view.

<b>Stunt Racer- PC</b> I still think this was a pretty advanced game. You would build your own track, complete with loops and jumps, and then race. You could run the race from several different camera angles in and outside the car and also rewatch the race like a movie. The replays had full Tivo style capabilities. All on our 486!

<b>Spaceman Spiff - PC</b> Best Shareware evar!

<b>Night Driver - Vic 20</b> - A car hood and the lines on the road are all you need.

Honourable mention - There was this C64 war game where the dying soldiers would scream out "MEDIC!" but I can't remember the name of it.

Na, Summer Games was where it was at. I remember playing the Pole Vault on the C64. Ho-Larious. My buddy has that on the 2600 too. We'd play gymnastics and make the girl land on her head. For a full afternoon. Then there was the diving bellyflops.

There is no RPG that ever entertained me like this one. This is by far my
favorite game of all time. No question.

2. NiGHTS into Dreams (Sega Saturn)
I realy have no explination why i love this game so much. It's just so damn good.

3. Power Stone (PC)
GEM GEM GEM KO!

4. World Of Warcraft (PC)
Only MMORPG that has kept my constant attetion more then a coule of months.

5. Warcraft III (PC)
Just a fun RTS to pick up and play. I mostly played it for its story. The whole lore of Warcraft i love.

6. Warcraft III: Frozen Throne (PC)
Same reason for Warcraft III

7. TIE The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past and OOT (Snes and N64)
There have been so many LoZs but these two had me hooked. It was a hard choice between LttP and OOT so i had to pick both. Great story, great gameplay, all around good time playing. I love em both. These two are the only ones i replayed constantly.

8. Super Smash Brothers: Melee (Game Cube)
Good god this game is to damn fun to play with three other friends. I impress others with my amazing talents of using ness to come back from what would seem certian doom! and PK Flashing them all to oblivion! How can you not see the big giant flashy green thing heading slowly towards you?

9. Star Fox 64 (N64)
"Fox! Get this guy off me!"

10. Knights of the Old Republic (X-Box)
No other RPG since OOT i have played over more then once. So it get my number ten spot.
