10. Berserk (Atari 2600) - Nostalgia! this was the first video game I ever remember playing. I still have found memories of my father playing this with me.
9. Altered Beast (Genesis) - Nostalgia again, this is the first videogame I actually owned. I have lots of memories of this game and the Xmas I got it and my Sega. I still remember when we figured out not to plug the one controller we had into the two player slot. That was why two people kept appearing on screen when I hit start. -.-
8. Streets of Rage II (Genesis) - Ever since I played this game I've had a soft spot in my heart for good old school beat 'em ups. I love this game more than even Battle Toads or Double Dragon. Just last month I plugged this one up to see how far I could get on the Mania diffculty setting.
7. FFXI (PC/PS2) - This game has made my list for one simple reason, the people I know online. The game itself I lost interest in a long time ago, however my friends keep pulling me back in.
6. Tetris (PC) - Who doesn't have memories of playing this on Gameboy or NES?
5. Goblins Quest 3 (PC) - This is just a silly puzzle adventure game that has enough charm that I remember it fondly several years after beating it. Nothing is truly note worthy about it other than I like it.
4. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (Xbox) - The best modern platform game I've played ever. I love everything about the game from the setting to the music, the only draw back is the combat can be a bit simply at times.
3. Eternal Darkness (Cube) - Survival Horror games never really appealed to me past the first one I played,
Alone in the Dark, all those years ago. The RE games have been okay, they seem to be more of a chore to finish than fun. This game however rekindled my love of the genre. This is hands down the most fun I've ever had playing a survival horror game.
2. Planescape: Torment (PC) - The best story based RPG I've ever played. It gets 10 out of 10 stars. Wonderful graphics for the time period and still pretty even by today’s standard. A key point beyond the game play and the story is the music. The music for this game fits Planescape better than 90% of the music in any game to date.
1. Baldur's Gate Saga: 1-2 and the expansions (PC) - This game is number one for a few reasons. I loved the single player game: the setting, story, graphics, sound and basically the whole nine yards. However, the biggest reason this is number one on my list is because of the multiplayer. Nothing gives me more fond memories than playing this online with friends. Everyone once in a blue moon I'll still AIMs from a few buddies about this game. We’ll all reinstall the game and try beating a few of the mods for the game we never actually finished. Now where did I put my game saves…
