Now, owls I like. I don't see many here in town, but I saw a bald eagle flying north over downtown the other day...predatory birds are like spiders; they're both our comrades in the war against more destructive (and reproductive)elements. Are your chickens free-ranging?

free ranging in a 20x20 coop........they used to be all over,til shadow,the black lab, one day decided to have a taste........she got one chicken.......and since then,i've built a big coop.

and the eggs.........my god are they tasty.

not in the coop but........he does go into the outer pen portion........he's too big to get through the little bird door.......
