Anything goes.
I'm not a yogurt fan. But since I'm starting to eat healthy again, I feel I need to incorporate it into my diet. These things are the bomb. I can never finish a whole cup thing of yogurt so the size of these is perfect. And the crunchies you mix in make it a dessert. The cheesecake one is fantastic, as well as the chocolate chip cookie / vanilla. |

speaking of yogurt...Stonyfield Farms Strawberries and Cream Whole Milk Yogurt.
The only downfall to loving this product is that half the time when you go looking for it, they are sold out. Well, that and it is not fat-free...nothing that tastes this good is fat-free.

hey woods, Verona is my wife's favorite coffee. I love Gold Coast blend since it's a tad "bolder". We get it ground "turkish" which is super fine; I use 5 little measuring scoops per mug in a Melitta drip cone-paper filter to make my favorite mug of coffee.
Now that you remined me of filters, I highly recommend automotive intake air filters by Amsoil: AMSOIL Ea Air Induction Filters (EaAU) |

I think I've eyed the Gold Coast before. But never tried it - was afraid it'd suck. I mentioned in another thread - I tried out that Jamaican Blue whatever shit that I've been hearing so much about. Now I'm stuck with it :/. FIVE little measuring scoops? How big are the scoops? That's a lot! I use a heaping tablespoon per 'cup' (according to the markings on the coffee pot.) ---------- Post added at 09:13 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:02 AM ---------- Oh wait - k my suggestion for now is: Not the book but the plant. If you're completely new at gardening, I promise you this is the easiest plant to grow from seed. Buy a packet of seeds, scatter them in a pot of soil. Dust more soil over them. Water when dry. Keep the pot in a shaded / partially shaded area. I planted this packet of seeds in May. The pot's huge now. See those spikey things of flowers? Those need to be clipped / pinched / broken off. Keeps the plant bushy instead of leggy. I've obviously been lazy. |

It is a lot and seems wasteful, but if I use less it doesn't taste as good to me and I don't want to leave this earth wishing I used a few more tablespoons of coffee to make my life better.
I've been wondering how much that scoop is, so I just used my official tablespoon measure to determine that each scoop is 2 tablespoons. My wife, who not only has great taste but also is never wrong, uses even more but I don't mention it any more. For anyone needing even finer weight measurement, I suggest this cute little analytical balance scale, reproducible weighing to 0.1 mg: |

We live in the SE corner of Naples. We went for a drive a couple of weeks ago and I was very surprised to find ourselves immersed in the Everglades within about 10 minutes, lol. We have canals here in our neighborhood that I think must be fed by the Everglades - every once in a while alligators show up in them. And the bugs, oh my god....

I've used Mobil 1 for many years so I know it's pretty good, though last oil change I'm using a slightly heavier grade of Motul which has better high temp viscocity than Mobil 1...my oil temps get quite hot after a few laps even with my large oil cooler. I'll look up some data on Amsoil motor oil compared to Mobil 1 and a few other good ones. A friend sends his oil sample out occasionally for analysis and he posts his data, so the pros and cons are very clear, no marketing b.s. I don't recall how the Amsoil stacks up to the others since I have not yet used Amsoil oils, just the intake filter which has a lot of very positive supporting data. I just looked for my receipt for the cone air filter I bought a few months ago but I haven't found it yet...I want to find it to keep in my files so when I do I'll post cost. Their prices are posted in the online store, which is where I bought it. Off the top of my head I'm thinking it was ~$50. Last edited by BadNick; 09-01-2009 at 03:48 PM.. |

We recently took a road trip and stopped by 7-11 to get plenty of on-the-road SNACKS. I picked out Peanut Butter M&Ms. Probably a good thing I don't frequent 7-11s and convenience stores because I think I could totally become an addict to this product:

One of my doctors told me about this stuff. She's an avid health freak. She recommended I try this instead of Crystal Light. This stuff is packed with vitamins and such. Drank a full one today, finally, and I feel VERY good. Not high, but zippy fun whoosh vitamin rush. Costco sells them in a pack of 30 - 10 each of grape, pink lemonade and orange soda. All flavors are good. VERY IMPORTANT - TAKE A SIP OF WATER BEFORE EMPTYING CONTENTS IN BOTTLE. Otherwise it foams and overflows. I learned that before going into work the other day :/. ---------- Post added at 02:59 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:55 PM ---------- This is what I got, but I swear I only paid $20-something for it at Costco. Knotted blankets:
This is what I did for all my Christmas gifts last year. Quite cheap, EASY to make and extremely useful for any recipient. You can find the simple instructions by Googling 'tie blankets.' Made of 2 sheets of fleece fabric. You can tailor them to fit your recipient perfectly, using prints and / or colors. Bf's mother loved pink, so I used 2 shades of pink to make hers. Bf's father grew up on a pecan farm. So I made him one using John Deere tractor themed fleece. Friend is a UGA fan and loves pink. I actually found a UGA print in pink. All who received blankets use them all year round. They love them. I received my first tie blanket 2 years ago and I honestly use it every single day, as I must have a blanket when I watch tv. It really was the best gift I ever received. |

But after reading many reviews, it turns out they apparently break really easily. Like, shatter break. So I passed them up. But I still think they're gorgeous. I've used Astroglide for quite a while. Then I discovered silicone-based lubes. Holy crap, I'm hooked. They feel like silk. The only downside is they're not water soluble, so it takes a little effort to clean up - unless you just hop in the shower and use soap and water. |

Oh, if we're plugging lubes, let's move it up to:
It's water soluble, practically tasteless, and feels so much like natural female juice it is scary. And their slogan is great: "The subtle art of making people fit together and reducing friction in relationships."

aahaa cute lol. Never heard of it. Love the pump packaging tho.
But yeah, silicone-based feels amazing. It's softer than silk even. Like oily, but it doesn't absorb. And there is zero tackiness - you just stay slick until it's washed off or wiped off considerably. If you can pick up a little trial size somewhere, I highly suggest you do. You can check out more reviews about it on Amazon and such. Get it NOW. |

For lube:
Downpart is it's a bit more expensive than similar lubes of a different brand, but this one is the best I've used so far. It doesn't leave very much of a residue on you, a little goes a long way, and it's not sticky. Body scrub: 100% Pure's vanilla bean body scrub makes me sooo soft and I end up smelling like vanilla cookies. mmmm Razor blades: Dorco is an awesome brand. They have never rusted on me and they stay sharp even after cutting through wood. I know this because I was stupid and tried to cut a small piece of wood and I slipped and the razor went right through my thumb and slit in half all the way down to my knuckle. The blade was so sharp that I didn't feel a thing and there was very minimal bleeding. My thumb healed up perfectly without any scars. |

It's double-edged. Why in the world would you use a double-edge blade to cut anything by itself? They make single-edge for a reason, which even those aren't meant to be used with your fingers alone. Not only for cuts from razor blades and / or scrapes, but use this the next time you have a tiny lil' pimple or a twin emerging from your face or body. Just make sure the skin is broken a tiny bit at least, so the stuff can get in there and work it's magic. May not be the same for everyone, but I've experienced overnight miracles using this as a spot treatment. I get some terrible hormonal growths every so often. This stuff gets rid of them in record time. I put a tiny band-aid over the area after applying so the stuff doesn't wipe off - obviously, use it at night. 5 outta 5 stars! |
