no singe or negative effects or bad tastes at all...quite the contrary. To me it tastes very smooth with almost a natural sweetness (I never use sugar) and if I use less it is just not as pleasing to my taste.

I've used Mobil 1 for many years so I know it's pretty good, though last oil change I'm using a slightly heavier grade of Motul which has better high temp viscocity than Mobil 1...my oil temps get quite hot after a few laps even with my large oil cooler. I'll look up some data on Amsoil motor oil compared to Mobil 1 and a few other good ones. A friend sends his oil sample out occasionally for analysis and he posts his data, so the pros and cons are very clear, no marketing b.s. I don't recall how the Amsoil stacks up to the others since I have not yet used Amsoil oils, just the intake filter which has a lot of very positive supporting data. I just looked for my receipt for the cone air filter I bought a few months ago but I haven't found it yet...I want to find it to keep in my files so when I do I'll post cost. Their prices are posted in the online store, which is where I bought it. Off the top of my head I'm thinking it was ~$50.
