It is a lot and seems wasteful, but if I use less it doesn't taste as good to me and I don't want to leave this earth wishing I used a few more tablespoons of coffee to make my life better.
I've been wondering how much that scoop is, so I just used my official tablespoon measure to determine that each scoop is 2 tablespoons. My wife, who not only has great taste but also is never wrong, uses even more but I don't mention it any more.
