I just hope we have a Brock Angle rematch for Summerslam...
And, it will be great if Shane-O does the Big Show thing for Kane, too...those were the days...hehe

I want Shane to bring back the Mean Street Posse.
Couple things from Smackdown Rhyno shouldn't be allowed any more mic time, hopefully they'll put Paul Heyman back on TV when he's recovered from his neck problems. Rhyno could only benefit from having Heyman speak for him. Torrie/Ass & Noble/Nidia in some freaky sex party? I sure hope this doesn't turn into a swinger-themed tag team. Lesnar/Vince in a cage with Angle as the ref? Which one will turn heel? Speaking of Lesnar, we got to see Brock F-5 the shark in the Summerslam promo, it's as funny as I dreamed it would be. After beating on Zack Gowen, I wonder if V1 Hardy will be the first guy to do a straight up J-O-B to the one-legged wonder? |

I think it has more to do with HHH's supposed hernia. HHH probably wasn't going to drop the title to Goldberg, until he got hurt. Now, HHH probably has to drop the title so he can go off to recover (Yeeeee Hawwwwww!). But, God forbid he look weaker than anybody on the roster, so the only way he can lose is to 5 other guys.

Ug, connection problems kept me away and silent.
I was happy with this past weeks RAW and last weeks smackdown. Good stuff. I really can't comment to much, because I'm not looking at the spoilers. In other words, I have no clue what went down last week even though I saw both shows. What I DO remember, based on what everone else (aka fartre and rockzilla): NOT THE ELIMINATION CHAMBER!!! That is the ugliest piece of ring crap I have ever seen. It it too large, and is hard to see though if you are anywhere beyond the 5th row in the crowd. Junk. If HHH HHHas HHHis way, HHHe'll be tHHHe last one to enter the ring. Oh yeah, it was good to see Shane'o again. I missed him last week. AND I AM AN OFFICIAL S.H.I.T!!!

A few notes from ring-side at the RAW show:
- nobody cheered for Goldberg. Ric Flair was so over with the crowd it was funny. Flair got cheered every time he pulled a move off on Goldberg. - RVD vs. Jericho was the match of the night. They worked their asses off. Although there was that one missed spot (Jericho trying to catch RVD in a sleeper off the ropes), the wrestling in this match was by far better than anything else on the card. This was the first time I've been to a televised show, and man it was so much better than their regular house shows. The only thing I missed was not being able to hear the commentary from Jerry Lawler and Coach. Sitting through the commercial breaks was a little weird, too; the show just stops for two minutes. I just wish it had been Smackdown that came to town instead of RAW. |

Elimanation chamber is a big piece of crap. The only only person gowen should beat is al snow or maven. If kane can't be stopped by 10 police officers shane should'nt be beating him up at all. the torrie wilson/noble thing was stupid.

Just remembered something:
I was hoping that Lance Storm would hook up with Rico. Alas, we are left with Goldust... WOOHOO!!! It will be good to see him back on camera. He has been a longtime favorite based on his in-ring personality and ring-work. That, and he's going to be World HHHeavyweight Champ someday. I just know it. Him and Lance. A barrel of fun!

Sorry, guys. My friends and I got our tickets late, so we were stuck way up high in the nosebleed section, to the right of the Titantron. Good view of all the junk behind it, though No signage to speak of.
None of the matches stopped in the middle, so if they aired commercials during a match then I got to see stuff all you people in TV land didn't get to see. Between matches, though, they pretty much stop the show as only the ring crew guys were busy mopping up sweat off the mat. |

I agree that the sudden 6 way Elimination Chamber match is disappointing, although I certainly understand why something needed to be done.
WWE obviously isn't confident in Goldberg and HHH has a strained Hunter. With that in mind, who leaves the cage as champion?? I don't see either of them taking it because of those challenges I mentioned. Can anyone make a strong case for anyone else???

How bad the Coach really is:
1) He doesn't know any of the names to any moves, except the finishers 2) He can't even get the finishers names to the right person (Booker T gave a Rock Bottom instead of a Bookend). Could have been someone else saying that, but hey, great example 3) Play By Play involves more than saying, "He's up! Slammed! One, Two, Hey JR, whats for Lunch?" 4) Boobs! Get over it. 5) Can't get the storylines right 6) No chemistry with anyone.

Well seeing that I stopped watching the WWE when I began wrestling ~2 1/2 years ago , i really have no idea what's been going on. All I know is that Goldberg isn't going to be around very long, and Hunter is up to his usual games. If anyone deserves the title it's me! Or my friend LIVEWYRE that just signed a developemental deal, should be on TV soon...peace

Question, what did ppl think about the Vinnie Mac and Brock working together now on Smackdown? I rarely have time to watch it but I saw the end and that was a little different. But it does remind me of the old storyline with The Rock.

Spleen's RAW Review:
First - the highlights of everything that just sucked. The Coach sucks. Good to see him crawl back into his kush Heat job. Scott Steiner sucks. Hell, he makes Test look good. Rico did okay, jackie did alright. La Ouisistance sucks. Or, just Grenier does. Holy crap, he's super bloated, or really needed to take a crap tonight. The guy's gut was enormous!! Booker T sucks. Couldn't he have waited one more day to lose the title on a Televised event? I mean, seriously. If he has back problems (and he does), it would have been so much more fun to see him squirm in agony in the middle of the ring, while I watch from my sofa. Its the American way! TripleHHHo's new commercial for that power drink sucks. I will never buy anytHHHing, just because TripleHHHo tells me to. THHHat guy can't see me water. Gail Kim sucks. She F-ed up a slingshot over the ropes and literally landed on her face. I've seen her screw up more in the womens matches than any other female (aside from Miss Kitten and Sable) The good points of the show The Hurricane and Rosie. Jericho.

Its horrible! ===== Some guy, some site, i forgot. Wrote that Chyna and Sean Waltman (Sixx, x-pac, 123 kid, etc) are legally not allowed to be near each other Chyna got a restraining order against him. HAH!!

I am glad to see Brock as a heel...I did not see that one coming. All signs pointed to Angle, so I guess I was suckered like I was supposed to be.
Hurricane & Rosie...classic! almost on par with Al Snow and "Trance Master" Steve Blackman. Prophecy - A couple of years ago, ShaneO was feuding with the Big Slow, and kept taunting him with lines like "Which way did he go?" ala Looney Tunes. After hearing that Trips is injured, I understand the Chamber...still don't like it, though. At least HHH probably won't be walking out of there with the title. meanspleen...weren't Chyna and Pac supposed to be married?

I'd be so stoked if they canned the match with Shane O and bischoff. Then take Nash and/or Michaels out, Then put Shane in the chamber. I'd get the pay per view just for that. This is another mis use of talent (not mentioning the awful match between goldberg and ric flair last week), They bring back a crowd favorite that can literally kick some ass and they put him with fuckin ERIC BISCHOFF! WTF is going on in the minds of the WWE guys? Seriously... Do they think this match will actually boost ratings? HA
I love this thread, it lets me vent whenever I need it, and it seems like I've needed to a lot more lately!

Actually, I think the Shane-o vs. Bitchoff match is a GOOD idea. Its just not played out correctly.
I think the writing team is just barely eluding to the fact that Shane-o was the first WWF/E persona to appear on WCW's Nitro. When the RAW/Nitro dualcast happened, it was all Shane-o all the time. Even though Bitchoff wasn't there at the time, anyone who saw a Nitro show would at least know of him. So this would be some sort of closer, of the old and new or something. So anyway, thats my explanation for the Shane-o/Bitchoff angle. And based on all of Shane-o's promos, especially right when Bitchoff was being brought into RAW, he's never had anything good to say. "Parasite" this, and "Destroyer" that.

Okay, I finally decided to put up my new "Favorite Current Wrestlers" list.
My old one was: The Hurricane Matt Hardy Kurt Angle Chris Nowinski ====== DA NU LIST!! 1) Still the Hurricane. I'm one of his S.H.I.T's 2) Matt Hardy. I'm a major M.F'er. 3) Kurt Angle. SUCK!!! 4) Shelton Benjamin. This should be a suprise, for anyone who has read my posts. 5) Chris Jericho. Heck, he should be higher on the list, but I'm pissed that he doesn't have any TRUE WWE gold. But I'm looking forward to him to possibly walk away from the Elimination Chamber with the belt.

Bring back something fun like the pig pen match or the casket match a la The Undertaker, or the Four corners match... You know the one where they tie the guys together with a strap and in order to win, u have to tag all fours corners without being interrupted.

Man, I miss the good ol' days of the ECW. None of these useless gimick matches like that elimination chamber. None of the garbage where one wrestler is the best and can't even possibly be defeated (see Triple H).
Oh, that and actual entertaining matches. Bishoff and McMahon headline over guys like RVD and Tommy Dreamer? I'll take a cheap bingo hall anyday.

HHH will drop the title in the chamber. Not only is he playing injured on screen, but he's injured in real life. So unless this is some huge joke the creative team is playing, then we will have a new Heavyweight Champion on RAW. Woooo!!! Oh yeah... GO Y2J!!!!

I think it's a groin this time...but whatever....I am a big HHH fan--at least I was until he blew up so big from juicing that he can't keep his shit from popping...
BTW, isn't Steph looking more like Chyna [bloated, bigger, more manly] every week? Must be HHH's influence.

I like the fact that they're using the Elimination Chamber again, since HHH really got hurt the last time they used it, too. Great idea!
Now we get to see the hair vs hair action tonight! It can't be as good as the Edge/Angle hair match, though. Now that was a fun match, and then there was all of the running around backstage. That reminds me...they need to bring back the Hardcore title with the 24/7 rule. That was always good for some laughs, and some good matches, too.

I stopped watching WWE for a while, but since Australian pay tv has finally brought the whole lot back I'm into it again.
Has Stephanie McMahon had some sort of plastic surgery in the last few months, or did I just never pay much attention to her before (Smackdown hasn't been on here for ages)?

Good show last night...hair match was OK...Y2J did a good job of carrying Oz, um Vinny Vegas, Um Diesel, Um Nash...Really hot end to the whole show with an old-school feel to get some much needed heat for the PPV...not sure I get the whole French team thing, but if it means the Duds kicking some ass on Sunday I'm all for it...lastly Keep test and Steiner off my TV [they can keep Stacy too...plenty of hotter chicks than her running around wwe]

At least Stacy isn't a muscle machine. o_O
I recorded the last part of Raw so I haven't seen the end yet. I noticed Stephanie's boobs, but her face seems to have changed shape as well. Oh, there was one point in the hair vs. hair match where Jericho looked SO much like HHH. And I don't like HHH so I was a bit disturbed...
