I thought his ego should have been knocked down quite a bit when Machida completely dominated him and made him look silly. I do hope Jackson knocks him out...if he ever decides to stop pretending to be an actor.
Also, don't you think that they are feeding Houston Alexander to Kimbo? They know Houston absolutely wont take the fight to the ground and he has a questionable chin. Massive power in his hands yes but a very questionable chin.

wow, Rampage is dumb as a brick...
and way to go UFC, telegraph who will be in the finals of TUF before and during the quarter/semi finals are going on - whole lot less fun to watch when you already knew who was going to win and whats with all the shit talking - I love the fights, but dang... some of those fools just need to go in there and get the job done and quit all the show boating - makes them look even worse when they lose I guess that is why I'm a fan of Fedor... |

I just couldn't help but laugh at the fact that the guy Dana doesn't like because he's fat had the best cardio of the season.
I really hope the UFC never does another HW season again though.

The fact that they are having Houston Alexander go up from LHW to 215lbs seals the deal for me. I hope Kimbo loses to another LHW in spectacular fashion.

There probably will be a rematch as Hamil talked about injuring his shoulder during the fight (I assume after one of Jones' awesome trips). I just can't believe how talented Jones is at 22 years old. 22!!!
I love that Kimbo and Houston hype themselves as badasses, but after the fight are huddled over with hands on their knees. The guy who walks out to Weird Al's "I'm Fat" is a 17 fight veteran, wins the contract, and gets the knockout of the night bonus. |

Unfortunately there's only one result and that's DQ. Yeah Jones did look like a fucking animal though, and if he's training with Greg Jackson he's only going to get better. Oh and Roy walking out to Fat was fucking awesome.

Roy was a monster last night, indeed. I hope to see more exciting fights from him in the future.
I imagine we'll see Jones and Hamil back in the ring as soon as they're recovered. Jones is going to be exciting to watch. He needs a little training and continued finesse, but I think he'll be a great fighter. |

bad cardio is bad enough, but what really amazes me is how some of these fighters still don't look like they even know what to do in certain situations, despite going through the entire TUF season and the several months of training they had between the end of the season and their December fight
and yes I know that becoming a well trained MMA fighter can take several years or longer depending on the person, but some of those fighters from the finale seriously looked like they've hardly been in any kind of training camp |

Roy did look good in beating up Schaub, but I still like Schaub a little bit more.
Also someone above said let's see Roy fight a proper UFC HW and see what happens, I agree. What do you think would happen with Roy against and I hate to say it, Lesnar?

I believe at this level, there is always a "chance" seeing how one great punch can turn the fight around, but other than that, it was not very realistic
I'm also starting to think that Mir will beat Lesnar whenever their 2nd rematch comes to fruition - it is pretty clear that he is not happy with how he lost and then being humiliated |

As I watched Penn v. Sanchez, I couldn't believe they were in the same league. Penn totally dominated, like I thought he would. I thought it was going to be stopped in the first, and probably could have have. But that cut... man oh man.

I sat down and watched this. It was my first time actually watching MMA. I think I like it!
Anyway, that BJ is a true warrior. At the end of the fight, it didn't even look like he was in one. Maybe he just came in from a light jog or something. And I'd certainly like to see Skyscraper fight again. That guy's a monster. I'm a bit surprised that after that, it wasn't revealed that Diego is actually reptilian underneath.

I agree, beating Kongo doesn't impress me either, but his improved muscle mass was very much impressive
I read one article that says he'll likely face the winner of the Cain/Nog. fight - which I think will be a good match to prove his worth in determining a rematch if Nog wins, he gets a rematch against a healthy Nog to see if he can do it again - if Cain wins, he gets one of the best up and comers who will have beaten a healthy Nog |

I was surprised by Chael Sonnen and that Maia didn't submit Dan Miller. Good fights overall

I've been waiting for Cain to fight a top opponent before I passed judgement one way or the other.
After beating Nog like that, consider me impressed.

I hope Nog retires. That was embarrassing. I love Nog but he needs to quit before he ruins his legendary career.
And that Sotiropoulos fight was awesome.
