YouTube - #100) My Little Chickadee (1940)

didn't he also say, "i went to philadelphia once, but it was closed..."?

BadNick 11-07-2009 02:29 PM

yes he did...I was there that day, too. Nice and quiet, the way I like it.

Jet,
if you mean my machine, it's not a war machine. More like the peace & love train....just a very fast one.

Jetée 11-07-2009 02:45 PM

I was talking about alot of things that were nebulous, but the question first sparked from cd's new avatar.

Cat Stevens

I overuse the [wiki] tags because nobody else realizes how useful their function is. And, more often than not, I use them for myself to learn more about something i don't know anything about; in this case: Cat Stevens.

---------- Post added at 05:45 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:42 PM ----------

you, know, I might own an album or two of his on tape, but I never knew his name, fame, or his face.

The First Cut is the Deepest (he should know)

BadNick 11-07-2009 03:03 PM

talk about cut

...in the other thread I posted my new little pocket knife

http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...ershaw1600.jpg

Jetée 11-07-2009 03:11 PM

you recommend it, I take it? Kershaw

as well as you are, which Cat Stevens record is the more complete one, would you say?

cdwonderful 11-07-2009 04:29 PM

nah, jette, it a cyberman from Dr. Who.......

BogeyDope 11-07-2009 04:32 PM

Pocket knifes are dangerous.

Jetée 11-07-2009 05:14 PM

I wonder what 'uncle_phil's original username used to be?

BadNick 11-07-2009 10:16 PM

The artist formerly known by his stage name Cat Stevens now has the name Yusuf Islam, although he was born Steven Demetre Georgiou.

You recently mentioned, and I agree, getting a reasonable quick perspective on a subject from the wikipedia page, so Cat Stevens - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I think Tea For the Tillerman and Teaser and the Firecat are my favorite Cat Stevens albums.

BogeyDope 11-07-2009 10:41 PM

Uncle phil reminds me of phil collins

was, and still is, "uncle phil..."

Jetée 11-08-2009 08:25 AM

Oh, I thought it was a near-staple that the "in-crowd" at TFP need to change their username no less than 26 months after joining previously. 'Swat i'm witnessing everywhere with familiar writing tones, but unfamiliar names.

At least my name is still "Jet", in some form, or "Jetty" (Eddie) to produce another.

Too bad I chose a female familiar object name in French. I don't think too many people notice it.

BadNick 11-08-2009 09:05 AM

I'm not really all that bad, usually, but due to my initial attraction to the titty board, my Catholic parochial childhood drew guilty memories out of those mammaries.

Jetée 11-08-2009 09:16 AM

So, you're thinking of changing your name as well?

BadNick 11-08-2009 10:08 AM

no, why would I do that? i am what i am and
