Sorry, I was blinded by the news. However, I would like to point out that in Rio it takes 2 to tango.

zat ainchoo, izzit?

BadNick 10-04-2009 06:27 PM

no...just a random pic I found googling. But they seem like a happy, nice couple.

On the take 2 theme, I did take these 2: one is me in Paris when I was a silly young man, the other is when I was a soul brother and with my soul sister, though we did occasionally do non brotherly/sisterly things

http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...icksoulbro.jpg

...funny true story about my soul brother era: we went to a very good friends house who we saw often, like at least once a week. We knocked on their door and when the answered we asked if Leroy and Mabel lived here. My friends were cordial but told us we have the wrong house and never recognized us.

what the hell, since I'm in this album and see these two, might as well take 2 (more)

Two of my many many home-made halloween costumes, one is me as an end table/lamp, and all those items are glued to the table so I don't drop them as I'm wandering around the party trying to get drunk. The other is my version of "big bird"

Talking about Paris, you (both) should really watch this BBC One documentary that I have fallen in love with... I'm still not quite of the title, but "Paris: Bohemian Rhapsody" was my favorite of the the (perhaps) three-part series.

I'll find the link to a stream or DVD boxset ASAP so you can get in the know.

uncle phil 10-05-2009 02:43 AM

you know, don't you, that today is Monty Python's 40th birthday...

BadNick 10-05-2009 06:24 AM

Happy Birthday, Monty!

uncle phil 10-05-2009 01:16 PM

Oh Christmas, that dark and wintery day when Christians celebrate the birth of the Bastard Virgin Jesus who would later end up inventing the idea of Eternal Hell and saying bad things to Jews and unbelievers. Since Christmas is supposed to celebrate the birth of Jesus, why not give a gift that relates to his life? Here are a few ideas that should educate your religious opponents with a little humor to break their intransigence.

Gift ideas for religious people

And to note: I'm no longer participating in 'Take 3' because i won that prize nearly four months ago... you dweebs are picking up the scrappy-doos I left behind after my winning speech. I 'tooken' the 3rd whatever that was.. thread thing.
