I know the car's name is Li'l Bandit. Is it a variation on that?

Kostya 05-01-2004 06:21 PM

No.

RedCometChar 05-01-2004 10:21 PM

It's EX CON.

Where's Dr. Colossus's hideout?

Kostya 05-02-2004 03:20 AM

Death Mountain.

'Ok Colossus you're free to go... but stay away from death mountain!'

'Ohhhhh but all my stuff is there.'

What are Otto's sole possessions?

buclao 05-02-2004 05:43 PM

Nudie mags and mustard.

Otto: "Woah, I had mustard?"

Kostya 05-02-2004 06:36 PM

Hmmmmm, I will give you partial credit.

Actually Psycho Mags whatever they are.

Otto: 'Hey landlord, some clown changed my lock and nailed this eviction notice up on my door.'

Landlord: 'Yeah I did'

Otto: 'Why!'

Landlord: 'Cause you didn't pay your rent!'

Otto: 'What about all my stuff!'

Landlord: 'All I found in there were a couple of old Psycho magazines and a jar of mustard.'

Otto: 'I had MUSTARD!'

buclao 05-02-2004 06:46 PM

I knew he had mustard, but I couldn't quite remember what kind of magazines he had. Ok, here's the question!!

What country is Bart in the Springfield Elementary model U.N.?

Kostya 05-02-2004 06:54 PM

Libya.

Who actually answered one of Bart's prank calls to Moe's?

RedCometChar 05-02-2004 10:18 PM

Cycle mags, I believe. :D

As for the question at hand, is it Hugh Jass? Or was it a different call you had in mind?

Kostya 05-03-2004 03:48 PM

Hugh Jass is correct.

RedCometChar 05-03-2004 09:00 PM

Woo hoo! I mean, splendid. :D

What are the ingredients of Homer's patented, out-of-this-world Moon Waffles?

Kadath 05-04-2004 03:35 AM

Quick aside:
I went to Simpsons' trivia in a bar here in Philly last night. While a few of these questions were included and thus I got them right, the vast majority were EXTREMELY difficult. My group came in the bottom 5. One group was 55/55 going into the final round. Another group did so poorly that a team who left after the second round STILL beat them. I wish I'd had you all there supporting me.

Anyway, back to RedCometChar's question!

Kostya 05-04-2004 07:10 AM

Hmmmmm...

Definitely: Waffle batter, caramels, maple syrup wrapped around a stick of butter with a toothpick through it...

There might be more in them, but definitely those...

RedCometChar 05-04-2004 10:30 PM

Homer uses Liquid Smoke rather than maple syrup, but like all great recipes, there's room for the chef's personal interpretation. Next 'un!

Kostya 05-05-2004 12:59 AM

Ok...

What is Kent Brockman's real name?

Derwood 05-05-2004 04:46 AM

Kent Brockelstein?

Kadath 05-05-2004 09:50 AM

I think it's actually Kenny Brockelstein, but I fully support Derwood's answer.

Derwood 05-05-2004 03:47 PM

Yeah, you're right. Ok, my turn I guess.

alright, an easy one:

What performer does Mr. Burns kidnap and have sing for Marge in the episode when he's in love with her.

rockzilla 05-05-2004 03:51 PM

None other than Tom Jones.

Whose mansion does Homer buy in the 'Behind the Laughter' episode?

Kadath 05-05-2004 04:16 PM

M.C. Hammer's.

He knocks out one of the Ms and smashes the A into an O. Homertime!

What is the name of Mr. Burns' boat?

Kaos 05-05-2004 04:45 PM

Gone Fission

Kaos 05-05-2004 04:46 PM

When Marge tells Homer to set up her sister Selma with a date, who does he set her up with?

Vingorod 05-05-2004 05:40 PM

Apu Nahasapeemapetilon?

edit: She rejected him because she already had a long enough surname, or am I drunk and thinking of something completely different?

That happens later, I think. "I'm already Selma Bouvier Terwilliger Hutz McClure. That's bad enough without putting Nahasapeemapetilon in there."

Is it Barney?

noahfor 05-06-2004 08:15 AM

haha barney

Kaos 05-06-2004 07:18 PM

Nope and nope. I'll add to my question. Homer tries to set Selma up but the guy he tries to set her up with, end up falling for Patty.

rockzilla 05-06-2004 08:43 PM

Pretty sure you're looking for Principal Skinner.

Seems like the Bouvier Sisters get around an awful lot.

I'm... going to go vomit now...

Homer does try to set Selma up with Barney after Skinner falls for Patty. At the end of the episode, after Patty rejects Skinner, she goes to find Selma, who is at the bar with Barney hating life...

You're right, I just remembered, although Kostya's response means I was not totally off-base...

rockzilla 05-07-2004 07:53 AM

Okay so my question?

What's the name of the soap opera character that Moe plays after getting plastic surgery?

noahfor 05-07-2004 11:17 AM

dr. tad winslow

rockzilla 05-07-2004 03:41 PM

yep.

noahfor 05-07-2004 04:05 PM

In "homer loves flander", what does homer speak to thinking it is god, where is it, and how did it get there.

Kadath 05-07-2004 04:41 PM

It's a waffle that Bart threw up there.

Lord, I know I should not eat Thee....mmm..sacrilicious.

Best line ever.

I'm going to be gone all day tomorrow, so here is question with spoiler.

Who is the only character on the Simpsons to be depicted with five fingers?

Spoiler: It was God.

jerome1082 05-08-2004 01:20 PM

I'm gonna say God. Dunno why. Just a guess. hehe. Who killed Snowball I?

sadistikdreams 05-08-2004 03:38 PM

Burns?

ironchef82 05-08-2004 04:42 PM

Homer, when he ran over her.

Kostya 05-08-2004 05:52 PM

A relative of Mayor Quimby whose name I can't remember...

I'll give you credit.

" Lisa: Bart, please. Don't you remember that Snowball 1 died four years ago tonight? Run over by the Mayor's beer-swilling brother, Clovis."

Kostya 05-09-2004 03:45 PM

Who is Chief Wiggam's favourite athlete?

Edit: If you want a clue, the Chief would kiss this person.
