Right. And he'd entertain the ladies "by any means necessary"

Your question jerome

jerome1082 06-04-2004 01:46 PM

Sometimes I scare myself...

Like the fact that Simpsons and Futurama quotes combined comprise of about 20-30% of what I say in a given day...

When it gets to the point where you're quoting the TV shows on the TV in the TV shows, you're in trouble...

'Well let's just define our terms here gentlemen, are we talking about redistributing, or redistricting?'

*We interrupt this program to bring you... a football game!*

I believe Ralph refers to a rat which has just stolen the key as a "pointy kitty".

In case I'm correct: Name the three restaurants suggested by the Hibbert children when Dr. Hibbert asks them where they would like to eat in the episode where Moe open's a family restaurant.

jerome1082 06-05-2004 04:22 PM

correct 5th cand.

Derwood 06-06-2004 06:13 AM

damn, that's a hard one. I can't even remember one!

The5thCandidate 06-06-2004 08:51 PM

Anybody?

Well, if nobody's figured it out by the time I wake up I'll reveal the names, so you've all got a few hours.

The5thCandidate 06-07-2004 05:57 PM

Alright, the first kid suggests The Spaghetti Laboratory, the second kid suggests The Texas Cheesecake Depository, and the third suggests Professor V.J. Cornucopia's Fantastic Foodmagorium and Great American Steakery

The5thCandidate 06-07-2004 06:01 PM

How about this one, then: What ice cream joint in Springfield claims to serve 5600 flavours of ice cream?

choskins 06-07-2004 06:15 PM

Phineas Q. Butterfat’s 5600 Flavors Ice Cream Parlor

choskins 06-07-2004 06:16 PM

In case I am right. In the episode, Homer vs. Dignity,

What comic did Burns ask Homer to buy then eat?

RedCometChar 06-07-2004 10:40 PM

Amazing Spider-Man #1.

What Eastern European cartoon ran on Krusty's show when Itchy & Scratcy bailed?

Kostya 06-08-2004 05:35 AM

'Ok kids now lets enjoy the best cartoon cat and mouse duo Eastern Europe has to offer, Worker and Parasite!'

Kadath 06-08-2004 06:05 AM

That question was in the bar trivia I went to, and we had no idea. Kostya, if I pay to fly you to the US, will you come to next one? :)

Derwood 06-08-2004 01:42 PM

New question please!

Kostya 06-08-2004 03:56 PM

Sorry fellas...

Ok let me think....

EQ: What does Apu offer Homer as compensation for giving him food poisoning?

IDQ No 1: What do Big Daddy and Prinicipal Skinner have in common?

IDQ No 2: What does Otto suggest as proof of his identity when he doesn't have his licence?

IDQ No 3: Which employee at the plant has a sister with one leg?

EQ: 5 pounds of frozen (unfrozen) shrimp.

IDQ No 1: Both are from New Orleans.

IDQ No 2: His underwear but it isnt his.

IDQ No 3: I forget his name but he's the guy in the overcoat and glasses.

Any of these sufficient?

RedCometChar 06-08-2004 09:31 PM

EQ: A bucket of unrefrigerated shrimp.

IDQ: They both are from New Orleans, and find stamp collecting interesting.

IDQ2: His underwear.

IDQ3: What's-his-name with the glasses. The one who got sucked up Mr. Burns' tube.

What did Bart get for Christmas, when he imagined life in Juvenile Hall?

Edit: Damn! Just a little too slow on the draw...

Kostya 06-09-2004 04:38 AM

EQ: "Mr. Homer please accept this six pound bucket of frozen shrimp as compensation for your food poisoning."
Homer: "Hey this shrimp isn't frozen, and it smells funny"
Apu: "Ok, twelve pounds!"
Homer: "Woohoo!"
*Sound of ambulance siren*

IDQ No 1: New Orleans is correct, but I was going for the stamp collecting thing.
Big Daddy: "Mon Cher, New Orleans is my town, I got interests, and I don't mean stamp collecting! Though I do find that very interesting."
Skinny Boy: "Yeah well that makes two of us."

IDQ No 2: Otto: "If you need proof of my identity I wrote my name on my underwear... oh wait, these aren't mine."
Skinner: "That's it young man! Until you get a licence and wear your own underwear you're not driving that bus anywhere!"

IDQ No 3: Charlie uses his sister's wooden leg as a lucky bat in the Homer at the Bat episode in series three.

Nice work Jerome.

Derwood 06-09-2004 05:48 AM

Did Bart get the week old newspaper, or was that Nelson?

Neither its Jimbo. Bart gets the wig and Nelson gets the book of carpet samples.

ok my question: What band does mr. Burns want killed after his birthday song?

RedCometChar 06-09-2004 12:13 PM

The Rolling Stones, even though it was the Ramones that called him an old bastard.

Identify what's on at least two of the jackets worn by Los Souvenir Jaquitos.

Kostya 06-10-2004 02:51 AM

Planet Hollywood and Hard Rock Cafe.

Kadath 06-10-2004 06:26 AM

I could only think of the Hard Rock one. Damn dang darn!

RedCometChar 06-10-2004 10:14 AM

Also, Jurassic Park and the Tazmanian Devil. Carry on!

Kostya 06-10-2004 02:54 PM

Wicked...

EQ: On which show does Marge participate in a debate with Roger Meiers, Krusty and Dr. Marvin Munroe?

IDQ: What are the names of Mr. Burns' bees?

MexicanOnABike 06-10-2004 04:22 PM

i dont know the name of the show but it's the one about ichy&scratchy violence... marge was trying to cancel it or change the violence level.

Kostya 06-11-2004 06:01 PM

Kent Brockman: 'Tonight on Smartline, are cartoons to violent for children? Most people would say No! What kind of stupid question is that! but one woman says... Yes!'

Burns: 'That's right, gather the nectar to make the honey, honey for your children... FOOLS!'

*Smithers arrives*

Burns: 'Ah Smithers I gald you're here, let me introduce you to the gang, that's Buzz, that's Honey and you see that queen over there, her name is Smithers.'

Smithers: 'Well that's very flattering Sir, but could we go, several bees are stinging me right now.'

Kostya 06-11-2004 06:03 PM

Ok EQ: According to Apu, what can you never harm?

IDQ: What is the only time Itchy has been seen dead on screen?

The5thCandidate 06-11-2004 08:24 PM

Does that Fantasia style episode count?

RedCometChar 06-11-2004 11:03 PM

A Twinkie. Also, Itchy laughed himself into a heart attack after Scratchy's bomb-wife blew him up. (That's a very odd sentence I just typed.)

What's the secret word that keeps Stampy the elephant from maiming people? Spelling's not important. :)

jerome1082 06-12-2004 12:47 AM

Magumbo.

What are the effects of the Army experiment Homer takes to get out of dinner with patty and selma?

choskins 06-12-2004 04:37 AM

hair loss, giddiness, and loss of equilibrium

choskins 06-12-2004 04:45 AM

Why did Homer get sent to the mental institution?

Kostya 06-12-2004 06:00 AM

He wore a pink shirt to work.

'Smithers these new colour monitors are paying for themselves already.'

Nice one Redcomet chair, I totally forgot that one. Actually I was thinking of a different thing, so I will rephrase the question.

What is the only time Itchy has been seen dead after being killed by Scratchy?

(This does not relate to the episode which is rudely interrupted by the nerd who unplugs the TV. To give you a clue, Bart and Lisa would never have seen this episode.)

EQ to pass the time: What is the name of Mr. Burns' autobiography?

Bonus if you can tell me when it reappears in a later episode and why.

The5thCandidate 06-12-2004 03:46 PM

Wasn't it called something like "Will There Ever Be a Rainbow?"
Don't recall the reappearance, however.

Kostya 06-12-2004 05:05 PM

Correct dude,

The subsequent appearance was in 'The Old Man and the Lisa' when Mr. Burns goes broke. Burns comments that he's worth a hundred million. Lisa holds up 'Will There Ever Be a Rainbow' and says: 'But according to your most recent autobiography you're only worth fifty million dollars.'

The5thCandidate 06-12-2004 05:36 PM

What is the full name - including middle name(s) - of the founder of Springfield?

noahfor 06-12-2004 11:18 PM

hans "jebidiah springfield" sprungfeld?

Derwood 06-13-2004 05:20 AM

Yes, and that question has been asked before (You didn't read the previous 18 pages of posts?) he he he
