How much money does Martin put towards buying Radioactive Man #1?

Kadath 03-07-2004 07:30 AM

Damn! Isn't it the same amount as what the giant Pog costs?

teph 03-07-2004 08:44 AM

Hah, I don't remember, actually - I'll have to go back and watch it again, but I think that's what he's there to buy.

Kadath 03-07-2004 03:17 PM

I'm trying to envision the price under the Pog (with Steve Irwin or whatever his name is on it, "inventor of the pog" :))
I keep coming up with $200.

That's the amount I keep thinking. I think I remember the price of the comic to be $250.

Martin has 200, Milhouse has 40 and Bart chips in 10. Or something close to that.

teph 03-07-2004 06:42 PM

No, the comic cost them much less than that. Keep hacking at it, though.

Kadath 03-08-2004 06:41 AM

Fine. $50. If that's wrong, I guess some other number. Another question is called for soon, I think.

opackfan 03-08-2004 08:25 AM

the pog was 250 i believe, the same price as bleedin gums only record after he dies

teph 03-08-2004 11:05 AM

Eh, this question sucked. The answer's $40. Someone else ask one.

Kadath 03-08-2004 12:17 PM

How about:
Complete this lyric:
"Bart was feeling mighty blue
It's a shame what school can do
-----------------------------------------
Those were the days!"

RedCometChar 03-08-2004 10:01 PM

"For no reason, here's Apu!"

What was the name of the device that sweeps the oceans clean, providing the ingredients for Lil' Lisa's Animal Slurry?

rockzilla 03-09-2004 07:24 AM

The Burns Omni-Net?

if that's right, complete the quote :

Kid : "Hey Officer Homer, How'd you get so big and strong?"
Homer : ______________________

Derwood 03-10-2004 06:28 AM

It's on the tip of my tongue, but can't remember.

rockzilla 03-10-2004 04:50 PM

It's been about 24 hours, the answer is "Green vegetables and homework"

I'll ask another one : What was the name of Homer's helper monkey?

buclao 03-10-2004 05:03 PM

Mojo

What "instrument" does Homer give Lisa to replace her stolen sax?

Kaos 03-10-2004 08:45 PM

A Beer Jug...some kind of Alcohol Jug to blow into.

Derwood 03-10-2004 09:22 PM

**A Note**

My dog is named Mojo, and yes, he was named after the helper monkey.

Pray......for......Mojo.....

Derwood 03-11-2004 10:16 AM

CAn we get a confirmation please?

buclao 03-11-2004 12:33 PM

yeah, that's right

Kaos grab the mic

Kaos 03-11-2004 07:30 PM

w3rd.

In the episode where Sideshow Bob becomes mayor, he has Bart sent back to Kingergarden. What was Bart's choice of Toy when he got the triangle right?

WarWagon 03-11-2004 07:33 PM

I believe it was the Flinstones Fun Phone?

Derwood 03-12-2004 09:21 AM

Yep, your question.

"Yabba Dabba Doo! I like talkin to you!"

Correct sir :D

WarWagon 03-12-2004 07:09 PM

Not sure if its already been asked, but...

Who fixed Marge's doorbell, and what song was it playing?

Kaos 03-12-2004 07:10 PM

Senor Ding-Dong...and the song was (Can't remember the actual title of the song) "Why do birds suddenly appear, every time you are near"

WarWagon 03-12-2004 07:12 PM

Yep, by the Carpenters. Your question.

Kadath 03-13-2004 01:03 PM

Ah, Senor Ding Dong! "Does anyone have any jumper cables?"

Derwood 03-14-2004 06:52 AM

It's all you Kaos

Kaos 03-14-2004 07:54 AM

Sorry about that. In the episode when Barney takes Homer's car to New York, how did they decide who was going to be the Designated Driver at Moe's?

Kadath 03-14-2004 12:17 PM

Whoever drew the black pickled egg. Barney squishes it and it runs through his fingers...ugh!

What are the three businesses destroyed by the Lisa Log?

Kadath 03-15-2004 11:05 AM

Okay, it's been almost a day. The answer is "Omni-Pave, Kentucky Fried Panda and Hemp City."

List three illegal activities that take place in international waters in the episode where Homer house-sits for Mr. Burns.

lalalapi 03-15-2004 12:29 PM

1) Mike Tyson's fight, "Slaughter in the Water," with the horse Secretariat
2) Cap'n McAllister marries a man and a cow, presenting the couple with a basket of illegal fireworks after the cow breaks the ritual wedding glass.
3) Homer and company enjoy "the simple joys of a monkey knife fight."

What excuse does Homer use on his insurance form for buying Dimoxinil?

Kadath 03-15-2004 01:32 PM

"To keep brain from freezing"?

Although technically, the doctor fills out the form, not Homer, I think.
Incidentally, other illegal activities were selling alcohol before 2 PM and rebroadcasting MLB with implied oral consent, not express written consent.

justinh28 03-15-2004 01:59 PM

where's the next (?)?

Kadath 03-15-2004 02:58 PM

I wasn't sure my answer was right. Are you offering to confirm?

lalalapi 03-15-2004 06:32 PM

I can't recall if it was Homer or the doctor who actually filled out the form, but he definitely responded with that explanation. I was thinking about mentioning the rebroadcasting, or even the bullfighting to round out the animal-themed illegal activities, but tried to stick with potential crimes that occurred on Mr. Burn's yacht itself.

So, yeah, please feel free to pose the next.

Kadath 03-16-2004 05:08 AM

Hmm. Well, how about an easy one. Who wins the mini golf playoff between Bart and Todd?

Derwood 03-16-2004 08:05 AM

They agree to a tie in an unusual display of Simpsons/Flanders comraderie

Kadath 03-16-2004 09:47 AM

Correct! And the golf course cheats them by giving them each a check for $25 (half of the first prize) rather than $30 (half of first prize plus second prize). Your question, sir.

Derwood 03-16-2004 04:26 PM
