Kostya 05-11-2004 05:06 PM

Anyone?

Bueller.... Bueller.... Bueller....

Kadath 05-11-2004 06:35 PM

Yeah, I think you stumped us. Reveal and ask another.

Kostya 05-12-2004 02:23 AM

Carl Lewis.

According to Mr. Burns, the plant is safe from bomb toting bolsheviks to what?

Kadath 05-13-2004 07:03 AM

Kostya, you're killing us! Throw us a bone here!

Kostya 05-14-2004 05:06 AM

Ok Dr. Evil sorry!

'As you can see the plant is safe from bomb toting bolsheviks to golden armed jazzboes' Thought people would remember it cause it's so wierd.

OK, little easier this time.

What is Semour Skinner's favourite animal?

silent_jay 05-14-2004 03:45 PM

the puma

Kadath 05-15-2004 03:23 PM

Okay, I am asking the next one.
Name three instances where the Simpsons have parodied The Natural.

Kadath 05-16-2004 03:05 PM

It's been 24 hours. Has this thread passed on?
"Scuse Me While I Miss the Sky" where Lisa campaigns to end light pollution (They overload the power and all the lights explode, including the ones on the ballfield, and the music plays).
"Hungry Hungry Homer" where Homer goes on a hunger strike to get the truth about the Isotopes' plans to move (When Homer finally gets the truth out, he runs down the field eating the food they throw to him and the music plays).
"Hello Gutter, Hello Fadder" where Homer bowls a perfect game(Homer throws the ball into the air and when it lands it causes all sorts of things to explode, Homer celebrates as the debris rains down and the music plays).

If no one asks a question in the next 24 hours, I weep for the thread.

Kostya 05-16-2004 03:08 PM

Weep not Kadath!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok,

Mr Burns' mother had a lengthy affair with which President?

Kadath 05-16-2004 06:37 PM

Taft?

RedCometChar 05-17-2004 12:05 AM

Concerning the Natural parodies, I knew two, and neither is one you mentioned, so I guess they take it to the bank pretty often. One is Homer's WonderBat in the softball league episode, and another is when Bart is racing in the soapbox derby, they pan up to Homer in the stands, ("Do it for your old man, boy!") and the music plays. :D

Kostya 05-17-2004 03:59 AM

Taft is correct Kadath, your thread...

Kadath 05-17-2004 06:14 AM

Woo, fat Taft!

Where did Dr. Nick go to medical school?

According to the trivia night I went to, there are two answers, but I only remember one, so if you guess the other, I suppose we'll have to fight to the death.

Derwood 05-17-2004 06:19 AM

Hollywood Upstairs Medical College?

Kadath 05-17-2004 07:21 AM

Bingo! No fighting necessary! Ask!

Kadath 05-18-2004 04:14 PM

Ack! Time for another question.

Which character's face was chiseled, Mt Rushmore-like, into the side of a mountain in Springfield and why?

Kostya 05-18-2004 04:38 PM

Carl?

Homer (musing on the cacti): 'Ohhhhh everything out here reminds me of Marge!'

Lenny: 'You're telling me, were coming up on Mt. Carlmore... Ahhh we carved that one maaagical summer.'

So I guess the reason is Lenny and Carl are involved in some kind of non-platonic, yet non sexual relationship...

Kadath 05-19-2004 05:07 AM

Sure. I was shooting for Lisa, who gets her face carved into the mountain for placing second in the national spelling bee, but I like your answer. Ask.

Kostya 05-19-2004 04:05 PM

Name Sideshow Bob's original cellmates from his first stint in prison.

Derwood 05-19-2004 04:51 PM

Sorry....I forgot to check on my answer. I am so ashamed.

Kostya 05-20-2004 04:24 PM

Anyone?

shred_head 05-20-2004 06:45 PM

I can only think of Snake. "Use a pen Sideshow Bob." Not sure if that's right or if there were any others.

Kostya 05-20-2004 07:23 PM

OK, fine then...

Hopefully everyone doesn't think of me as the Trivia Nazi.

Shred, technically you'd be right about Snake, but that 'Use a pen Bob' is from a much later stint in prison after he tried to rig the Mayoral election.

What I was looking for was Bob's monologue at the Simpsons' dinner table when he tells how he bade farewell to his cellmates in The Black Widower where he marries Selma. Cutter.... Icepick... Snake, I'm going to miss you most of all...'

Anyhow, new question:

Who wins the wrestling bout between the Professor and Rasputin?

(nice, there's only two answers so I can't get in trouble!)

I will give you much props if you can say how though.

Derwood 05-21-2004 08:09 AM

I believe the Professor wins, because that is what would piss Homer off. I can't recall how though.

SixEdxMia 05-21-2004 08:36 AM

heh..He cheated. : X. Bart the daredevil... Vhs.

MexicanOnABike 05-21-2004 11:14 AM

i have the ultimate question: whats the simpsons phone number?
edit: there is an answer... no cheating!

SixEdxMia 05-21-2004 11:26 AM

555-3226 : ) Mr plow and the pretzel wagon..I have waaaaaaay to much time on my hands. Very good. : )

MexicanOnABike 05-21-2004 11:37 AM

hmm... last time i checked is was 939-555-0113
same as Mr.burns but he's 636-555-0113
Maybe thats just Homers number. because he does say "oh! thats my number!"

She's right, its the same number on both of them.

SixEdxMia 05-21-2004 11:45 AM

In Season Three, their home number was 555-8707.
And the phone numbers from Homer's television debut in "Mr. Plow" are:

Home: 555-3223
Business: 555-3226

In "The Canine Mutiny," Bart fills out a credit card application form with
the phone number 555-3126.

MexicanOnABike 05-21-2004 02:31 PM

the episode when theres 2 area code, the radio calls a random number which is 555-0113 and homer says: "thats my number!" but mr burn picks up because of the area code is 636 instead of 939. i guess they changed numbers a few times... oh well! new question someone.

Yeah he bashes Rasputin on the head with a spanner.

Um... I don't know who gets to ask the next question...

RedCometChar 05-22-2004 10:38 PM

Bump!

Who's the football pundit who's right 52% of the time?

Kostya 05-23-2004 06:54 AM

I can't remember his name, but he has a gigantic shoe, or perhaps lock...

'I therefore declare Cincinatti my SHOE in of the week!'

RedCometChar 05-24-2004 11:15 AM

Well, we're over 24 hours, so we'll take that. His name's Smooth Jimmy Apollo. Next one!

Kostya 05-24-2004 04:13 PM

OK...

How did Sideshow Mel get the bone through his hair?

shred_head 05-24-2004 04:26 PM

By trying to use it to get gum out of his hair.

When Selma weds Sideshow Bob she decides to give up smoking except for on two occasions, what are those two occasions?

Kostya 05-24-2004 04:35 PM

'I've decided to give up smoking, except after meals and after McGuyver.'

shred_head 05-24-2004 09:31 PM

That's correct. Ask your question.

Kostya 05-25-2004 03:28 AM

According to McGuyver what saved the village?
