From the Stonecutter's episode, what other card of Abe's, besides the Stonecutter's membership card, does Homer take?

RedCometChar 02-16-2004 10:51 PM

The Communist card. :D

From a recent episode, what's the title of the sailboat painting that hangs over the couch?

Kadath 02-18-2004 05:46 AM

Wow, I think we're stumped on that one.

shred_head 02-18-2004 07:30 AM

Well who watches the newer episodes anyways? They suck in comparison with the older ones. But that's just my opinion.

Let's stay on topic. This isn't an opinion thread, it's a trivia thread.

I'll start us up with a new question again since the last was a stumper:

At Itchy and Scratchy land (I think...maybe Duff Gardens), Bart can't find any memorabilia in the gift shop with his name on it. But what name is shared by several people in the store?

shred_head 02-18-2004 09:23 AM

Bort!

In the episode King-Size Homer, what does Bart say he wants to be when he grows up?

For the record, it's called, "Scene from Moby Dick". It was Marge's inspiration when she was writing her romance novel.:D

A fat tub of lard?
(All I remember is the line "I wash myself with a rag on a stick")

I could be wrong.

shred_head 02-18-2004 06:39 PM

You're right, you are wrong. He does say that line though, but that's right after he says what he wants to be, and while you're close, that's still incorrect.

shred_head 02-19-2004 10:44 AM

Alright, since no one can answer this question I'll go ahead and ask another one. The correct answer, however, was that Bart wanted to be "a lardo on workman's comp., just like Dad."

Ok, the new question is: In the episode Bart the Murderer, who played Bart in the made for TV movie?

JohnnyRoyale 02-19-2004 12:24 PM

Answer: Neal Patrick Harris! (Doogie Howser)

My Question: As a baby, Bart was in a series of ads, the proceeds of which Homer lost, which leads to Bart divorcing his parents, and moving into a loft. The question is this: What was the product that baby Bart was hawking?

buclao 02-19-2004 01:30 PM

not sure if it had a proper name but it was a product that helped get rid of bad breath for babies.

I'm gonna wait for confirmation before I post a question because I'm not sure.

JohnnyRoyale 02-19-2004 06:15 PM

Close enough for government work. Go ahead and ask.

buclao 02-19-2004 06:34 PM

Who is India's answer for Brian Dennehy?

silent_jay 02-19-2004 07:37 PM

shred_head 02-19-2004 10:56 PM

What were the 3 questions that Homer and Apu asked the Head of the Kwik-E-Mart?

silent_jay 02-19-2004 11:04 PM

i'm drawing a blank again anyone feel free to go ahead.

shred_head 02-20-2004 10:47 AM

What did Homer think the movie Speed was really titled?

buclao 02-20-2004 02:46 PM

The Bus that couldn't slow down

What is the name of the Japanese game show the Simpsons were on?

Kaos 02-20-2004 02:54 PM

Damn, something like "The Super Terrific Happy Money Show"

Am I even close?

buclao 02-20-2004 03:00 PM

Close enough for me. Go ahead, ask away

BTW, it was the Happy Smile Super Challenge Family Wish Show

Kaos 02-20-2004 07:03 PM

Ah shit...that's right. Tough question man.

How does the carneys trick Homer and family out of their house?

silent_jay 02-20-2004 08:39 PM

They send them on a glass bottom boat ride. I'll wait to see if I am correct

Derwood 02-22-2004 09:08 AM

Can someone confirm if this answer is right please?

shred_head 02-22-2004 10:59 AM

I'm pretty sure that's correct.

silent_jay 02-22-2004 11:09 AM

I'll go ahead if it's wrong disregard my question.

How much did the car cost that Homer designed for Powell Motors?

NatureBoy 02-22-2004 04:16 PM

What was the name of the music store next to Moe's Tavern?

buclao 02-22-2004 06:25 PM

What is Mr Burns son name and who voiced him?

silent_jay 02-22-2004 07:46 PM

Larry Burns- voiced over by the hillarious and never aging Rodney Dangerfield.

I'll await confirmation

shred_head 02-22-2004 08:58 PM

Yes that is correct. Post your question. Questions referring to actors are not allowed, check page 1.

silent_jay 02-22-2004 09:20 PM

keeping with the same theme- what was the name of the car company that bought Powell Motors?

buclao 02-23-2004 04:34 PM

I'm sorry about that, my fault. As for the question i'm not really sure, the only thing I remember is that it started with a Ku... something

Kadath 02-24-2004 01:19 PM

Kumatsu!

Kadath 02-26-2004 06:11 AM

You got it more than close enough. the actual end is "and one of the monkeys stole the glasses off my head" Ask on!

silent_jay 02-26-2004 05:12 PM

What were the names of Apu's octuplets?

Kadath 02-27-2004 06:31 AM

I'd like to state for the record that that is a bullshit question, sir. I request a different one.

silent_jay 02-27-2004 07:28 AM

Might I ask why this is a bullshit question, if the answer is: Poonam, Sashi, Pria, Uma, Anoop, Sandeep, Nabendu, and Gheet. You see a bullshit question would have been one with no answer, and as you can see this question clearly has an answer. Ask your own question I already asked one and someone seemed to whine about it.

Derwood 02-27-2004 07:31 AM

i'm guessing he's calling it a bullshit question because it would be nearly impossible to know that without looking it up online, and the spirit of this thread (as I intended it) was to not have people look stuff up in order to answer the questions.
