Saving Private Ryan was boring, Ridley Scott is waaaaaaaaaay over-rated, Blade Runner was the biggest waste of my life, I wanted my money back after Matrix: Reloaded, I really enjoyed Tales from the Crypt: Bordello of Blood, Corey Feldman is a great actor, Blackhawk down was the worst war movie I have ever seen, The Lion King is the worst disney movie I have ever seen,
Julia Roberts should return her Best Actress award, considering she sucks, Jim Carrey deserved the Best Actor award in 2000, not Kevin Spacey, Seven was predictable and boring(saw the ending coming 20 minutes+ before the end), I dug Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2, Jet Li movies are horrible, even by martial arts standards, Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai was a great movie, Silnece of the Lambs was waaaaaaaaaaay over-rated, as I ended up chatting on a compiter instead of paying attention to the movie(that rarely ever happens), Keanu Reeves was pretty good in Bram Stoker's Dracula.

And I agree, Anime sucks hard

Saving Private Ryan- Didn't see what the big deal was.
Gone with the Wind- Never saw it don't want to see it
Resident Evil- great movie
Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2- Better then the first
Punisher- would of rock like hell if they would of painted a skull on his chest.

This movie hasn't been released yet and maybe not even made:
The Jessica Lynch Story- She got lost and capture, she is not a american hero. Won't see it ever.

I didn't think that Eyes Wide Shut was that bad. Without a doubt it was Kubrick's weakest offering, but it's not like it was the worst film ever made, or anything like that.

I think the whole fascination with Star Wars is a bit of a generational thing, as in "you had to be there".
Me as a synical 19 year old, I don't see what the big screaming deal is.
I mean, the original trilogy is so blatantly one-dimensional, I don't see how people can read all sorts of crap into it. There is nothing profound or amazing about it. And don't even get me started on the script!
It had some pretty visuals (for its time), but THATS IT.
Yes Episode I & II sucked major ass...but this news just in...so did 4,5, and 6!
Face facts, your beloved trilogy was nothing more than a six hour toy commercial.

Best Disney : Hercules

All anime sucks? That's a lot of stuff out there that sucks.

Almost forgot : Hated "Fargo", "Big Lebowski", and "Boogeynights." I can't even begin to tell you how much they sucked, but that's my opinion.

Like many others here, I got my hopes up about Matrix Reloaded and was tremendously disappointed. Hope the last movie is better.

The Hulk sucked very badly. So did Spider Man.

Anyone even remotely responsible for Titanic should be horsewhipped until they promise never, ever to inflict something so goddamned awful on society again.

I know it's an exceptionally cheesy movie, but I really enjoyed Hudson Hawk.

I enjoyed the Thirteenth Warrior as well.

Add another to the "anime truly sucks" group.

Just my opinion.

I saw Matrix Reloaded in the theatre four times, the fourth time being in IMAX. That movie is incredible; most people were simply pissed because it wasn't like the first one at all. The first Matrix was like a videogame, and the second one was like a novel. I'm really looking forward to Revolutions. I think that most of the people that were disappointed with Reloaded were simply expecting something completely different. I sure as hell was, but seeing the movie a second time definitely showed me how good it really was. There's a big difference in "not what I expected" and "sucked." Hell, I'll say it was even better than the first one in nearly every aspect. Just because it wasn't like what anyone was expecting and completely different from the first one doesn't mean that it's a bad movie. If one were to analyze it based on the first one, it really is a weird comparison. They seem like two completely different series, only with Reloaded being far more in-depth about Zion and the real-world.

That could not have been said any better. It seems that some of the people that didn't like reloaded didn't really understand it. I'm glad that it didn't turn out to be all action and no thought.

oh.... and the Hulk sucked. Spiderman was no good too.

Waterworld with Kevin Costner? I personally really enjoyed that flick. Jeanne Tripplethorne has always beguiled me and when Costner's character grabbed a water skiing line and a harpoon, then jumped off the back of his catamaran to use himself as a fishing lure...I thought...holy shit is that neat

I love the movie Kung Pow. I think it's hilarious.

And The DVD has this option to turn off the dubbing, where you can hear what the main character was actually saying before they dubbed him to hake it look like a dubbed movie.

I'm gald to see that I'm not the only one who thinks that Spiderman was just TERRIBLE.
The acting was flat, Tobey McGuire couldn't have delivered his lines any worse if he was a cardboard cutout. There was no character development, Willam Defoe went from sensitive rich guy to bi-polar split-personality in an instant, and the ending, where he rejects MJ, after pining for her the whole movie? WTF was that all about? The First batman was far superior to this piece of dreck.

Boondock Saints was fun, but definitely not a good movie. The best thing about it was Willem Dafoe's creepy character.

Goodfellas is far overrated. Watch the first half and then just shut it off.

Heat has the worst ending to any great film. *Spoiler here. Skip down to the next paragraph. Robert DeNiro's character talks about walking away at any time, no matter what the cost, during the entire movie. So what happens at the end? He's got the money, he's got the girl. He's getting away. Then for no reason at all, his character does a complete 180. He turns back to take revenge and gets killed. Bah! I can't watch the ending ever again. It ruins the movie.

Saving Private Ryan. Uh. Nice battle scenes. That's about it. The story was corny. The ending was blah. Anyone see > When Trumpets Fade < ?

Bram Stoker's Dracula is a great film.

Waterworld and The Postman are going to become cult classics like Blade Runner.

American Pie series... some funny parts, but if I want to see a comedy with titties, I'll watch Showgirls instead.

Kung Pow was the shiz, some of the parts there were so incredibly funny to me for some reason.

Unpopular dislikes:
* Anything by Kevin Smith (with the possible exception of Clerks). Clumsy dialogue, awful direction, no idea what to do with either his camera or his actors.
* The Royal Tennenbaums is a weak, weak movie. It's shallow, manipulative, emotionally one-dimensional...I'll still see Wes Anderson's new one the day it comes out, though, because Rushmore and Bottle Rocket were both brilliant.
* American Pie was stupid and soulless from beginning to end.
* Kids sucked.

Unpopular likes:
* I really liked Matrix Reloaded, and I'm reeeaally looking forward to the third one.
* I thought Eyes Wide Shut was a fine movie. Kubrick and Paul Thomas Anderson have both used Tom Cruise perfectly: he's a truly awful actor, probably the worst major actor alive, but both directors used him for parts in which his character needed to be wooden/emotionally dead.
* Mars Attacks is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. Lukas Haas's speech at the end of the movie floors me every time.
* Anyone remember Joe vs. the Volcano? Great movie.

My friends and I always looked down on Zoolander just because it looked like it was trying too hard to be funny, plus it just looked dumb.

Then I watched it. Will Farell's Mugatu character alone brightened up my day.

Someone else likes Josie and the Pussycats? Amazing!

The fact that the Hot band-of-the-minute is named Dujour and none of the band members know what it means is great. And check out the lyrics (and Choreography!) to Back Door Lover.

Others:
Ninth Gate: Very underrated and poorly marketed as an action flick.

New Jersey trilogy: Fantastic.

I gotta revive this thread because I just saw Bend It Like Beckham. This movie got an 87% fresh rating at Rotten Tomatoes, so I expected a decent flick. I was very disappointed. It was just another cliché sports movie with the same old overcoming the odds crap. Her parents don't agree with her throughout the whole movie, then all of a sudden they fully support her.

Blah... I guess it wasn't horrible, but I don't see myself seeing it again in the future.
