Hello all. I am what you might call 'new'.
My name is Vickie and I'm from Alberta, Canada. I came upon this site randlomly while googling for "lame math jokes." I wasn't allowed to see the entire post until I registered so... here I am. Everything here looks pretty interesting, though, so I'm looking forward to posting here. |

Hello - I fell through a rabbit hole and ended up here. I assume this place is based in US so look at the ground and wave. I will give you a wave back from the other side of the world.
I am a library Tech. And was searching for Hocus + pocus answer for my child. Thanks for the answer. I will not be a shadow hang and will try the enter posts. |

Hi, I'm the HouseApe. I have no idea if I will be sticking around these forums or not. I've been browsing them for a couple of days to see what type of community this is and to decide whether or not I wish to get involved and I think it may be a match. I'm a University student from Ontario, Canada and I'm just looking for somewhere to stretch my brain and my writing skills during the long break in between classes.

quite the community..
Quite the community! I'm impressed!
Threads: 81,443, Posts: 1,686,480, Members: 50,148 .. now I frequent quite a few messageboards, but .. wow. I actually hit this link through Slashdot (www.Slashdot.com) as a mislabeled link to a news story. Glad I did, however.. this page seems to be bursting at the seams with the same attitude I hold myself to. Looks like a good fit-- now off I go into the Tilted world... Read ya later.. JiNN

Hi all...
I gather this is the play page for TFP virgins. Um, I've never posted to TFP before, so I think I'm a little nervous. In fact, I've never been with any forum before... Everyone says it's great, but that I shouldn't leave my socks on. Well, you asked for it... PS. Thanks for being ever so gentle. |

Howdy punch. There is a neato thread in Tilted Motors that I bet you will like about a fellow who is restoring his Mustang. I have followed it and can tell it is a restoration by someone who loves his car - not someone who just has money to throw away.
You can find it here: http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthread.php?t=26985 Howdy frought! There are lots of aussies here and so I think you will fit right in. Don't be afraid to post. I suspect that the best place where you can get your feet wet without having to worry about saying the wrong thing is in Tilted Nonsense. This way you can meet some of the regulars and get used to posting. There is a funny thread where you "own" the previous poster's picture in there and anotheer one on "This or That" that might be interesting.
