Am I real?
Hey everyone,
I've been asked to join this forum and say hello! ...but I don't know how. My name is Tom? Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is...yes, it's Tom. What's with the question mark? Well...hi! ...uhm, I'm going to be a professional pilot. By the way, or BTW, I really enjoy using ellipses. You know what(question mark) (ellipses)I'm not a very interesting(Period, or in England--full stop) Ah, no one cares...(crap, another ellipse.) |

greetings
It is generally agreed that "Hello" is an appropriate greeting because if you entered a room and said "Goodbye," it could confuse a lot of people. - Dolph Sharp
So, umm, hello from a compleat newbie. As Matt says, be nice to me.

I hate to do this when you seem like somebody that's really interesting... and seem to have some of the same interests as myself... but the correct place for an intro of yourself is here, not creating a new thread.
That out of the way, a hearty welcome and see you around the boards. |

Right, just joined..
I'm Blaise. I'm 19, female, and studying psychology/cognitive neuroscience at university. I tried to think of hobbies, but all I do is read, write, go clubbing, watch far too many films, bake strange vegan cookies, go online, waste time at the pub and play around with hair extensions. I suddenly can't think of anything to say about myself either.. I've been searching for a busy forum for a while as I'm currently staying with my parents and have nothing to do until the landlord puts our house back together and I can move back down south with four housemates, two houseplants and perhaps a housescorpion. I eventually found this on the Google directory, liked the look of it, and here I am. |

Hi all! I just stumbled here by total accident, but I like what I've seen so far. My name is Lia, I'm 28 and I'm in Ontario, Canada. Lately I've been finding myself deep in thought about anything around me; I've been so interested in what makes people tick. I also have an insanely difficult time explaining myself IRL and tend not to get my true ideas across at all. Explaining things to someone face to face is definitely not my strong suit.
I am, however, very articulate online. So here I am. [deity chioce here] bless the internets... Glad to be meeting you all! |

Hope to see you around the forums - feel free to explore all of them and of course, reading the stickies on the top can avert any confusion later on and possibly answer some questions you have right now about the TFP.. catcha back on the flipside, will.

Hey, my name's Ed. I'm an engineering student. I like to think, and think about thinking, and shit like that. Expand your mind type stuff. The Matrix is my favorite movie, and I like a lot of others that challenge the status quo and such. I'm excited about this forum.
