I joined up a few days ago now and am still struggling to find my way around!! I have looked at a few forums before but never really got the hang of them or enjoyed them. This is the first one i have enjoyed and so far I can see that a)im gonna be here for a while and b) im never going to run out of things to read again!!

Im Geoff btw, I live in Southern England (as far as I can see most people come from america, but have yet to check out the "regional" parts!!), I go to 6th form and am hoping to go to uni next [school] year.

I have also just learned that there are private forums as well and that you need to post a certain amount to have an avatar etc. I have a feeling it will be a long long time before i stop finding new things about this site!!!

My original post almost seems to imply that this place looks good just because every other place looks bad, but obviously this place is quite good regardless of the other places :crazy:

Being a veteran of a number of different forums, this one is very interesting for the sheer volume and breadth of topics and the structure. I have stopped in a number of the areas here and always found something interesting. In other words, I'll probably spend a lot of time here. From the nym, you can probably tell that I like to Brew My Own. I enjoy the outdoors, and have a lot to do with keeping my corner of the world clean and green :thumbsup: . Hope to enjoy some interesting conversations here.

Hi everybody. I'm new to the forum and just wanted to take this time to introduce myself. I'm a 23yr old college student attending Long Beach State University. I heard about this site from fark.com and decided to register. I've belonged to a few other forums, mostly those that deal with my interest and hobbies. I spend most of my time working and studying, but the little free time I have I spend on my yearly yard haunt. I'm a huge halloween fanatic and every year I have a yard haunt at my house. Anything dealing with horror usually grabs my interest. Well I hope to get to know many of you here and look forward to learning more about the people involved in this community.

well i joined ages ago but have not had a chance to post much but am hoping to start.
i'm from scotland, have travelled far and wide, love reading, moaning about the state of the modern world, am scared by the prospect of continuing world unrest and intolerance, i work in 'the media', i like big dogs although i don't have one, despite my left and green leanings i like fast cars and i own one too, i hate people who don't indicate to change lanes on the motorway, front foglight wind me up too, i really hate the dumbing down of 24hour news coverage and the proliferation of cheap exploitative television, i dislike censorship and the thing that makes me most angry (at least today) is people that don't vote when they can oh and i'm not fat or called bob.

there is much more that i will hopefully have the chance to share here as time goes by.

Hi. Just a "n00b", if you want to call it that. I've been a member of both the TFP and the Titty Board in the past under a couple of usernames, but would stop coming here and lose my account. I was also a member of stickfigurepeepshow.com when it had a forum. But stuff happens and people have to put things aside to deal with more pressing issues. Anyway, I was surfing a forum that I frequent (would put a link, but don't wanna look like I'm plugging) and got to wondering about whatever happened to this and SFPS, so I decided to see if they were still in existence.
