Ok. I'll take a step backward to square one, since this is just the introduction thread. I'm from southern California, and can't get more specific than that because I move around so much. I like drinking, driving (not at the same time), video games, movies, recreational sports (so not football, baseball, or basketball), and more.
I don't usually talk a whole lot, but I'd like to think what I do say comes across in a good way. More people talk to me than the other way around. There's a chance I could go into psychiatry like the movie Mumford. I was referred to TFP by a long time friend, who is also a computer nerd, like most of our friends. This brings me to my first questions about TFP. There are 30 registered members per page in the Members list. There are 901 pages in the first section of names. This calculates out to 27,000 members in just the symbol section alone. What is the total member count? Are people ever cut out of this list?

Hal, the owner, is something of a ... packrat? we don't delete things. almost never. so... since last april(?) since the site went back up (we had a nasty harddrive failure epidemic that resulted in rebuilding from scratch), we've had some 27000 people join. you can see the exact number on the top of the main forum page. that doesn't mean they're all still here, however. People leave, people register and then forget us, people show themselves out. here's the stats as I post this:
Members: 28,132, Threads: 24,365, Posts: 585,858 Welcome aboard! |

I am Sancho
I am the man behind the striker3303 that you don't know so well. Give me a little time though and you will be well aquainted with my non-sense. I am a leo, pimp, not really. Check me out sometime, questions are welcome here. Don't dive to deep though, I am twisted. No, I am normal neanderthal....

A compliment: your forum looks really soothing and welcoming to the eyes. Maybe I'm a dark kind of person The colors, the fonts. Purrr-fect! |

Really, all of us are just here because this is a fun place to be. BE WARNED though... high addictiveness... back in the post-whoring days I thought back at my Inet usage for a week and it was like 90% TFP. Off course, I'm not saying that is a bad thing.

Get Ready For The Storm
Dear fellow posters,
For starters my first name is Chris and yes my MIND is a STORM. I suffer from an illness more commonly referred to as BI-POLAR disorder. So with that said, don't be alarmed by sudden bursts of manic posts..LOL The posts however, will be of good quality. I tend to stay away from the mainstream and focus more on the alternative & underground news sources as these offer a far better and unbiased view of the current events that shape our world. I've been lurking around here for about a month now trying to get a feel of the place. So far i like what i see and if it continues i will have no problem reaching for my credit card to make a donation. This place has a great deal to offer and of course has plenty of room for improvement as do all messege board, forum and blog communities. There will be times when i don't respond to a post. Please don't take offense by this. It only means that i'm cruising the net at breakneck speed searching for my next post. My favorites list is rather large so i'm constantly surfing around...IT'S A BI-POLAR thing and some of you wouldn't understand. I hope my experience here is an enjoyable one as i will do my best to make it enjoyable for all the TILTED members. Peace & Love my friends The Storm |

I'm Emily.
As was said before by many others, I hope to add some intelligent conversation to your board, and I also hope to learn more about myself by interacting with some of you. At any rate, I hope to get some questions answered.
