Great org (organism, organization, orgiastic - you name it) here HAL. As mongois, (no, not a French word) been a lurker on and off for quite a spell, and have enjoyed opinions, humor, help and general comaraderie. Figured it was time to stop being a wallflower, inspite of being a rutted demicentenarian. There is a lot of energy to share here, I hope to add some.

So this is the place...
I appologize for starting a new thread with my hello. I needed only to become accustom to the ways of your peoples.
I live in Houston and work in the film/video industry. We have a running joke with the guys from Hollywood: Are you local or professional? Most of the crews that start here end up in L.A.. I've been there a few times but I prefer Texas. It is amazing, however the number of Texans working in California's film industry. |

I'm also a long time lurker... semi-poster I guess you could say. Been around a real long time. But now I have a lot more freetime than I ever have had before. Sometimes the harshness of this place can seem rather uninviting but I'm going to give it a try. I'm not the brightest guy so getting involved isn't so easy

hello :D
i'm running on 2 hours of sleep after a night of dancing and party searching. (both of which have left me with a teased and un-fulfilled in several catagories)
anyhow, i am going to keep quiet about myself for a bit, while i collect my thought pattern completely, and search around these forums some more. one thing i will say is.. "i dont really know what i'm looking for in life as a whole, but i do know of bits an pieces that will make it enjoyable!" wondering around, chris |
