This should be a relatively easy one. In the movie Pulp Fiction when Vincent takes Mia to Jack Rabbit Slims, she gets a $5.00 milkshake. Vincent takes a drink, says something and then leans back. The music playing in the background is a 60's instrumental (I think). It's mostly a slowly strummed electric guitar. I need to know the name of the song and who it's by. Thanks.

I FOUND IT! I know I only posted this a few hours ago, but it's been driving me nuts for days. I actually found the "rebuttal" song before I found the original, but I found it.
Eamon - Fuck It Frankee - FURB is the rebuttal version. Now to overplay it till it's outta my head... Quote:

Looking for a classical piece...
They play it on the Simpsons a lot, very frenetic, part xylophone perhaps? One instance is from the episode where grandpa is babysitting them and bart is holding onto the ceiling fan by grandpa's dentures and spinning around and around. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Anyone know what it is? Help!

I have heard this song a few times on the classic rock station, but can't track down the name or who its by. Here are some lyrics:
"Amy, whatcha want to do? I think, I could stay with you for a while, maybe longer..." and ends with the guy singing: "falling in and out of love with you..." Any help would be appreciated; I really like the song.

There's a rather recent rock song that I can't figure out.
Somewhere in the middle are distinct lyrics which say "No lights. No music" And that's all I can remember. Sounds like System of a Down but I have no idea.

OK, there's this song I kept hearing while I was in France last week. It actually is a pretty awful song but I can't get it out of my head. Basically it's some white guy rapping over a sample of some old French song. I know that may not be very much info, but that's all I got.
If anyone has any idea what this is I will owe you my sanity.

Something that i have found useful when trying to figure out a song i heard is the site leos lyrics www.leoslyrics.com. If you know any words that are in the song you can do a search by lyric, either as a complete phrase or scattered words. So for example, if you heard roadhouse blues (by the doors) on the radio and did not know the name of the song or who it was by, youd type in the lyric you heard (keep your eyes on the road) and it would give you a list of all the songs that contain that lyric. The site has definitely been extremely useful for me.

I'd appreciate some help finding the artist and name of the following song.
It's rock (slower paced), and includes the lyrics: "Can't be held responsible," "We were merely/only freshman," and ".. love in the first place." It's a pretty well-known song, and is sung by a male lead singer. I just can't think of the name right now. Thanks!

here's a tough one....I think the song is from the 70's (i've heard it played in that 70's show)....the only place I can describe it.......is that it is in Charlie's Angels 1 (the movie with drew barrymore etc..)...and after the point where she sleeps with sam rockwell.....and he is telling her that he is actually a bad guy, and shoots her and she falls through the glass etc... the song is playing in the background....anyone know it?

I'm trying to remember a single by Agnetha Faltskog of ABBA that was on the American pop charts around 1983 or so. It was released after Frida's "I Know There's Something Going On."
EDIT: Apparently it wasn't on the charts. It got quite a bit of airplay on a station I listened to though. Last edited by SinisterMotives; 08-26-2004 at 08:26 AM.. |
