Weigh in today: 128.5 pounds. Almost to my goal of 126 pounds... almost there... next week, should hit my target of losing 10 pounds. continuing to focus on eating very healthy, lots of rice, veggies and fat free milk. Doing workouts on the eliptical three times a week to keep myself toned. I'm noticing a big difference in my body from last month to this month... just a lot of better overall tone. sweetpea

Great job sweetpea.
I'm still hovering around 200. Started doing more "excersize" (crunches, pushups ect) and can feel the difference. I'm still a little self-concious of the flabby excess skin around my mid section, (which is why I haven't posted pix yet) but aparently, I just have to wait that out. [shrug] I have taken some pictures, but the mirror lies, the camera doesn't.

14st exactly so one pound up. I'm not too bothered at the moment I just seem to be too busy to pay attention to my eating at the moment. This week should be better though, as the rush is off a little.

No, for me, hovering is good. I don't want to lose any more weight. If anything, I want to tone up and stay the same weight. 200 is in the "ideal" weight for my height, so I'm good with the non-loss.

GOAL!!
Weighed in yesterday at 190 on the dot, total loss was 85 lbs. Thinking about staying on it for a few more pounds. The last 10 lbs were the hardest and took the longest. This week I started lifting weights as well as doing the treadmill.. |

Would like to join you. 6.o m 200lbs Still trying to lose the same 10 pounds. Never tried WW. Did Atkins with success but the smell of those Ketones escaping was bad.
Since I couldn't stay with Atkins- I try to eat right but lately ye old chocolate is calling me. I use a bowflex 3/4 times a week so maybe all that chocolate will turn to muscle while I'm napping..................... |

Alright TFP I'm looking to improve my figure with the rest of you. I'm at 228 right now(down from 240) and I'm hoping this will be just the extra boost I need to hit my goal(sub 200). I'm about 6' and fairly large build but with my body fat percentage I know there is no reason for me to weigh more than 200 lbs other than laziness. Plus I'd really like to look all studly from when my gf gets back from Italy(May 14th)

Getting back on Weight Watchers was harder than I thought it would be. But now that I have a point finder and my books, and something to keep track of it all on, I did much better this week. I lost 3 lbs this week! I hope I don't find them again this week coming up. It will be the hardest week of the month, I always crave ice cream and chocolate.
It is very inspiring to read about all of the pounds lost here at TFP. WTG to those who lost, made a goal, or maintained!

13st 11lbs. Three pounds down. Not bad considering that I have been at a bit of a sticking point for the past few weeks. Going to have to try and keep the momentum up, that is going to be the challenge for the next few months.

Even though I hit my goal, I really havent changed the way I eat. I'm just not being as picky as was when we decide to eat out, but I'm not going crazy either.
I stepped up my exercise and started doing some minor lifting to tone up. I weighed in yesterday at 188lbs, 2 lbs below my original goal. |

On March 9th I weighed in at 141.8 lbs. Today I weigh in at 134.6 lbs! I still have 10 more to lose, but I feel more motivated then ever.
I have a question though. I am not very athletically inclined and I know I need to do exercize. I really need to tone up my stomach area. Any suggestions? Will walking help? I would be walking in a very hilly area, if that matters.

Im not on Weight Watchers, but I feel like sharing my story. Last early July I went to the beach, and a few weeks later we had pictures developed from the trip. I didn’t like the way I looked. I decided before my birthday in late October I was going to loose all the weight. I replaced eggo waffles and 2 bowls of cereal in the morning with yogurt, and McDs, pizza, and cheesesteaks for lunch with meal bars.
My starting weight was 215 and made it down to 190 by birthday. My next goal was to get down to my high school weight of 165 by the time beach season rolled around. By the time the febuary came, and the last time I weighed myself I was down to 175. A month ago I started out walking, and that turned into hiking and now I am running and walking six miles four times a week. I have no idea what my weight is I don’t have a scale at my new place, but I feel that there is still some work to do. Im hoping to graduate from walking/running to just running and maybe add some weight training in the mix. So in a few months when you see that guy at the beach with the killer bod. Don’t hesitate to come up and say hi to me |

I have managed to float up a little to 207, which is only 2 lbs. over my maintainance level I have set for myself at 205. I find it really difficult now that the "weight loss" part of my diet is over to be strict with myself, especially on days that I'm at home all day. I'm constantly snacking.
I have a feeling I'll go back on the wagon for the work week and get back to normal.

Even though my goal was 190, I haven't quite gone off my diet. I've upped my daily calories somewhat and added in more "treats". Still exercise at least one hour a day.
Yesterday I weighed in at 181, down a total of 94 lbs. We just planned our summer vacation to the beach and looking forward to it this year, no wearing a T-shirt to "attempt" to hide my gut in the pool or ocean anymore. I tend to eat more on vacation so I need some padding for that week. |

Hello fellow weight watchers. I've lost a lot of weight over the past couple of years, but saddly I've backslid some. I weighted myself this morning, and I weigh in at 222. I'm in the Coast Guard and I need to lose 11 lbs to make weight. However, I think I would rather continue on and lose a good 20 lbs.
I'm going to use atkins because it worked pretty well for me in the past. Also, the place I work has a pretty nice gym, so I'm hoping to get an hour in each day before work.

Figured I'd toss this thread a bump since there might some tfpers looking to get on the wagon, ah hell, who am I kidding. It's for my own personal glory . Last time I weighed myself was last thursday, the scale read a lower than expected 215, which puts me down 23 pounds in 8 weeks. Will be interesting to see what's happened this past week though if I can locate a scale somewhere on campus since I stopped work and am now relying on rugby to keep me in shape. Well, that and jogging in the mornings, which I hopefully can develop into a full fledged habit.

oh man.... talk about "weight loss accountability"
9/1/06 = 255lbs Some of that is muscle tho, because my clothes have been fitting a bit looser.

After the move and some partying, I've managed to pack on 20 lbs! I still fit in my 36's, but I'm going to have to get back on the wagon here. This morning I was 224, which was actually less than I thought I was. I have really been unmotivated because of the stressors involved with the move, new job and my new website / home business.
My goal will be to get back to 200. With the Holidays upon us, I'll need a head start.

Wow, it's been a while since I've been here. I mean a while. Several months since I stopped in and said I was with you guys in the weight loss battle. That was mostly bullshit, but since september I've really kicked myself in the ass and lost some weight. I was hovering around 5'8" 209 lbs. at the end of the summer, but as of three weeks ago I had lost 15 lbs, and considering that I've had to tighten up the belt even more and kept up on my diet and exercise, I speculate that I've lost even more.
I wish I could be more specific with wieght goals, however the fact that I don't have a scale in my apartment, coupled with the fact that my trainer (ie Roommate) was encouraging me not to focus on how many pounds I'd lost, but how I felt/looked. So I can tell from the mirror that I still have a little ways to go, but I'm a lot closer than I was. |

Forgot about this thread..
I continued to lose weight to bottom out at 166lbs total loss was 109 lbs. Since then I'm stay around 170, I started working out with weights to get back the muscle that I lost during my loss. My only problem left is some loose skin, but its slowly tighening up, I can actually see some of my abs for the 1st time since I was a teen. Ended up spending 500-600 bucks on a new wardrobe, so my wife said I HAVE to keep off the weight since we donated my old clothes to Goodwill. |
