Time Committment & Bulking Up
How much time, roughly, does it take to start putting on some muscle gain while working out? I'm sure there is a TON of variables, but generally, how much?
1 month ~= 1 pound? I just want to get a clearer idea of how long it will take to accomplish my goals.

Depends on your body type. Meso, ecto, or endo to begin with.
I myself am an Endo. So it it alot easier for someone of my body type to gain mass. But typically with that also comes higher fat storage! After that I would have to ask the question of how long have you been training? Do you have a solid foundation to build on and have worked a year at least with high reps to accustom your body to lifting stresses? Tendons and ligaments etc are the problem areas when you start to bulk. So. If you are physically (and mentally) ready you are good to start bulking. I would reccomend that you in corporate most power lifts into your workouts now (if you haven't before). Squats, Deads, Clean and Press. These are great for building overall body mass. Enough babbling from me for now! I am sure there will be other great input for you. Good luck and get huge my friend! Cheers!

One other thing I should say.
My routine involves high reps one week and low rep the next... so I am constantly in a "bulking" phase. It works well because of my body type. I am still working hard on cutting out the fat, 35 lbs since November and have still been increasing my strength throughout. Again good luck too you!

Meso, ecto, or endo?
How would you describe me. I don't have a lot of fat on me (actually, I'm quite scrawny) and I don't have a whole lot of muscle (again, I'm quite scrawny ). Please advise

Ecto - always very skinny, hard time putting on any real fat or muscle
Meso - Those bastards who eat what they want and stay thin with loads of muscle Endo - The people who can eat nothing and still be fat, though do get muscle. Assuming you eat enough, and work out right, 1lb/week is a good rate to put muscle on when you start lifting, otherwise 1/2lb month when you've been doing it for a long time.

Sorry, I was going to post a link about those...
http://bodybuildingpro.com/bodytypeinformation.html This website gives way more details pertaining to each body type. I think I am more Meso/Endo. So maybe you are an ectomorph. Check out the website to get a better idea. Sorry mate forgot that in the original post. Cheers!

Ok. So I've been going at this for around 2 weeks now and I'm starting to see some results. I want to keep improving, and was wondering if anyone had any tips. I continually increasing the number of sets I do, and take full day breaks every other day.
Should I be changing my diet to help bulk up, or start taking (legal) pills and supplements? Any other tips at all?
