I've just learned the above is a foto-feature of Haile Selassie I.
Did you know this as well? (apparently, there might also be a video of the above famous capture, but I can't quite configure it now.) -- (to note: I think I'm getting slower to the draw than usual. It's a sign-of-life-times shame a white rabbit that doesn't have a mind about a timepiece.)

Last additional piece: was anyone else in mind about this being (becoming) the New Year of the Rabbit?
I was excited, as much as I can be without saying a word or making a grand gesture, to learn of this, just 10 minutes ago. I don't hold much information in my head at one time, I'm afraid. Seems right on time. Happy (almost) New Year! (to all my moon brothers & sisters.) - - - + bonus

Sorry for lying like that. I just had -- (to note:) one last additional piece of uncanny revelations, after scrolling through my first wikipedia pages for this month.
It started with reading here: Rabbit (zodiac) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (start(s)/-ed today, I see) Then I noticed something about the chart of equivalency; Took a peek to the before Symbolic sign, and then it came to light. The combination of tiger/rabbit is said to be (in rough nature of astronomical translation) equivalent to a middling Aquarius/Pisces sign. That beats all, don't it? As it so happens to state on my landing page, I'm in the middle of it as well: February 16 (not quite on the cusp, but I've never been one of those guys who lives on the edge - more like the borderlands.) Cool insight, man. (coincidental happenings when I chose my first identifier, no?)

I see you guys already concluded what I would guess is fact: that the Pacific Ocean is the largest and deepest. I don't see any possibility that largest will ever be contested, but deepest might one day be a surprise since we know so little about what's under those waves.
World Events According to most astrologers, the year of the Rabbit will see heightened state of conflicts arising from the eastern and the northeastern parts of Asia. North and South Korean tensions are expected to persist throughout the year with no solid solution in sight. This should be similar to what was witnessed during the duration from 1950 to 1953. The alignments of the sickness stars and the Grand Duke of Jupiter are also not very favorable. Last such alignment pointed to a SARS outbreak. Health Last year, the year of the tiger, was very unforgiving for people with shoulder and neck problems. This was expected because of the powerful energies of the tiger. The year of the Metal Rabbit points to a different style of energy of altogether and you should be taking special care of your liver and lungs. Increasing rates of pollution and deteriorating weather are expected to be heavy on lungs. Love If you have been born in the year of the Dog, Horse or Tiger, you will see greater chances of finding love. So be prepared to go out more often. World Economy After the global recession, the US economy will continue to improve over time and it is advised that you gradually step away from your investments in imports from China. Last year, the year of the Tiger, saw many people gain great returns based on their investments in metals such as gold, copper and silver. This year being the year of the metal rabbit is expected to be even more favorable for those investing in metals. Try to go for construction grade metals like nickel, zinc, aluminum and steel. It is also expected that your investments in agricultural products like corn, wheat, cotton and others will produce great returns. The last time we had the year of the rabbit, there was great recovery in the world economy that was suffering from the 1987 worldwide stock market crash and in the year 1999, we saw recovery from the burst of the dot com bubble. To be honest: I've had this "film" in my "queue" for almost two weeks now.
I'm just beginning to watch it now. You can, too. (until tomorrow, when the page says it will expire. Sorry for being so late.) -- (to note: it has everything to do with the "rat" you saw at Alcatraz some pages ago.)

The Year of the Rat
saw me onto this planet: I married a dog. ...there was much friction, as the theory predicted: Does that make it true? Challenger Deep, Pacific Ocean, -35,994ft.

There's an idea that's years in the making. (reminding one'self)
I must have mentioned it before, but I lulled about it. No, I think if I'm lucky enough to be alive tomorrow, I'll devote a special segment of at least eight minutes, in order to track down the "original" story of the Epic: The Grand Emperor's Race (The Story of the Friendship between Cat & Mouse) -- (to note: I might be looking for this again, because I can't honestly remember if I've posted it one in the past five years. /in before the hour resets)

I don't understand why women want to be equal when they could be better. That shows a lack of ambition to me.
Which is why men are better

Looking over the less than dozen quotable to which apply, and were uttered, by/to/about myself, I notice something: I'm not very eloquent.
For all the blathering that I do, the 8 or so quotes that I've been ruminating about for the better part of 3+ years are quite terse, if also not very bright. I tried as I might, yet came away none the greater. (I've probably stated this before, if not, also, very recently. I'm a forgetful nelly.)

Clues, pick your favorite one: she lives in a state beginning with "W" and she can see Mt. Rainier and the Puget Sound from her house, the town she lives in begins with an "O" and a song referring to "...the gem of the ocean" mentions the name of the town, and there is an old battleship parked in Philadelphia harbour that has notoriety for being Admiral Dewey's flagship when he was flexing his muscles during the Spanish-American War in Manila harbour. After walking down our driveway to pick up the newspapers this morning, I turned around and suddenly slipped on a couple inches of ice, and ended up hitting the ice, face first no less, plus my left knee! So now I'm reading the bloody bruises over my left eye and upper nose hoping I don't get a blackish eye. My knee is also quite swollen and bruised. What went through my dumb head as I was getting up was that I'm grateful for having a thick skull and a well attached meninges so I can take a heavy hit to the head without flinching much, harkening back to the days of boxing when a hit to my head just got me pissed off enough to fight back harder. I'm going out later to chop up and remove the ice. |

Thanks. I hope I learned more from this than just "ice is slippery". I'm optimistic since I seem to have learned that fire is hot, and I don't usually put my hand into the flames. Plus, I noticed some sympathy from my wife and kids which was nice. The goddamn ice is gone. Bye ice.

Did the snow slide overreaction divert us all, or do we not care to mention it?

You combined the "novel" - ideal.
(It's really difficult for me to just say one thing, a sentence; words, without more.)

without referrants besides how one thinks about. I mean, fewer words can speak volumes like pictures of pasttimes recalled.
