I was an altar boy for over 5 years if that counts for anything. Fortunately for the church, I never developed a taste for altar wine though I got a liking for incense. And fortunately for me, I never ran into an abusive priest.

On the other hand, there was another older altar boy who was a real nasty bully. Luckily, a couple years later he was pulling his shit again but failed to notice I was now as big as he was and I commenced to kick his ass with great satisfaction. I never pick a fight but he deserved it.

We all deserve it, temptations of faith aside, & assholery. //A rabbi & a priest are in a car accident. Both escape without a scratch, though the cars are totalled. They agree it's miraculous. "Even more miraculous," says the rabbi, "is this unbroken bottle of kosher wine in my boot." He opens the wine & passes it to the priest, who takes a few swigs. The rabbi then throws the bottle away. "You're not having any?" the priest asks. "Nah, I'll wait until the police come," the rabbi answers.//

I have a friend in NZ, but haven't been able to find her in years.
You drive a hard bargain, OCM.

Referring to sermons, too,
needs to be as well considered as. You can read between the lines. & seriously, we're having many bits of trouble maintaining many numbers. ((2x(4+5))/2=9

Happiness is contentedness with what you have, at peace with what you cannot possess, and kind in mind with the things worth waiting for... (/my compiled starting thoughts from overlooking at the picture above.)

You're a wise man, Jetée.
I just ate a bag of an interesting new junk food I found. I liked the taste, sort of like Cheetos made from peas (credit for that description goes to Katie Carpenter) and the nutritional facts make it seem not as bad as a lot of other stuff I eat. In in few minutes I'm also posting it in the "what you're eating now" thread. So this stuff is Snapea Crisps made by Calbee Calbee America They are baked, and the ingredients don't sound bad for a lightly salted snack: green peas, corn oil, rice, salt, calcium carbonate, ascorbic acid. As mentioned on the packaging, I bet they could taste good in a salad or with some kind of dip. They also make Veggie Mix Crunches which I'll try soon. Here's the Snapea Crisps: |

I just got done eating (meaning: about ~4 hours ago) baby carrot sticks as my after-dinner cleanser. Yes.
You may not notice the similarities, but I just can't help in seeing everything is inter-connected (even the ominous things).

I also may have just watched my first ever episode of Wings (I thought it was a sitcom about about the Air Force?).
Very errie at how very similar Tony Shalhoub's bleak outlook on life is to the point, exactly concurrent with my own (despite my knowing that near every character he's ever portrayed is over-the-top foreign, false, and disbelieving -- not unlike myself, too).
