Ok, here is my situation: This girl asked me to sit next to her and looked at me then after a few days rubbed her leg against mine in class. I wasnt sure if she liked me or not so i didnt do anything, now she seems pissed at me but when i ask her things she responds and is nice. i'm thinking of asking her out but she doesnt look at me that much anymore and i dont see many signals that she likes me at all and i'm beggining to think she hates me or something now. Did i blow it? i dont wanna ask her out if i did cause it will ruin a nice sort of talks and it will always be on my mind so its either yes and ill ask her out or no ill continue to chat but do nothing.

Nah...she probably got a bit peeved, because you didn't respond like she wanted.
Women are used to men being somewhat aggressive, sometimes they are not used to men who are shy.
But the initial attraction should be still there, she's just withdrawn a bit.
I'm sure she'll react well to a nice offer from you.

Ok now for the main thing here, i dont really feel comfortable asking 'do you like me' because it sounds cheesy and lame so i'm thinking of writing it on a peice of paper, is that even worse, you sit and you get a piece of paper with'do you like me' on it. sounds way too weird for me

Do it in person, but don't go "do you like me." Ask her if she'd like to get some coffee or something. Get an excuse to spend time with her, then see how she acts around you there for your answer.

Let's go around the room- we have 10 votes for "ask her out", 2 rude remarks that were probably references to being a dumbass and not reading a REALLY obvious sign like her rubbing her leg on you, and various comments stating you still have a shot at it.

If a girl rubs her leg against you, at any time, you should immediately seek her out, and start by asking her out as soon as possible. You didn't do so, and she may have been put off.

Go ask her out. Highschool is not the same without risk, and you have the whole rest of your life to take much larger, more important risks- get the small ones out of the way and give yourself the training in risk-taking you'll need for later. Best of luck.

You sit next to her in class! Which means if she says no you've got a really awkward situation on your hands, and if she says yes, and you hit it off, well, then you've got a really awkward situation on your hands! The more I think about it, the less I like it.

That said, I do think she likes you. Wait until close to the end of the class term, then ask her out. In the meantime, be -very- friendly with her, use the intervening time as a chance to get to know her.

yeah thats true, i've thought baout that, but i think if i hold it off for any longer she'll just lose all interest forever

With all due respect, I believe that's a horrible idea. Decide now to pursue or not, and act on what you chose. If you wait, she will definitely move on, and you will be left with various "what ifs", which suck WAY more.

I've had girls pursue me off and on even when I've given the "stop" signal. I've missed the "go" signal from girls and had them hate me ever after, rejecting my later attempts to act.

It sounds like she made a move on you, and when you didn't respond how she thought you would, she got ticked. Asking her out might solve it, it might not. Women tend to think their signals are like beacons instead of being so subtle that we miss them. It is possible that it is too late (it all depends on whether she is too irrationally pissed off or not), but in all likelihood it isn't too late.

she sat at like the corner of the table far away from me as possible and when i tried to get closer she moved more and never looked at me when i looked at her, oh well, maybe i wont be so stupid next time with someone else
