I just can't see why women seem to like these thongs all of a sudden.
Thanks to the extremely good weather this summer I know about the preferred colors of underwear of a few hundred women in my city. ( A thing I never wanted to know about most of them I can assure you)
What I really don't get is the way they react sometimes.
One of my students wore a thong and let it show on purpose. She did a tomato and was pissed for a week when I made a joke about the mismatch of colors. Almost every second week I get comments about my choice of clothes and that's supposed to be okay.
If you show it because you think it's just normal you have to cope with peoples reactions IMHO.

Well, she was red like a tomato.
In the Face.
As far as I could tell.
Didn't look any further.

(Which points me to the question: Do you only turn red in the face when turning red or ... but that's maybe slightly off topic )

Seeing more belly hanging over the top of the jeans is not what they are made for.

Thong & Tat are all good by me. The tattoos are very hit and miss on women. Just depends where and what it is.

Yeah tats are pretty hit and miss.

I don't hate peoples choices - but what i DO hate is when everyone jumps on the fucking bandwagon.

When you see girls all of a sudden all wear low-riders and sometimes (personal preference but ick) see the top of their pubes - i mean seriously, whats the point?

Your thong is showing, but you hate it when people point it out?

Come on, get some sense into that one - yes some guys are immature but many still say its pretty stupid.

Show it, fine, its your choice, but if people make comments on your class or whatever, you better not be offended because it is your choice.

There are seriously people who dress like that? If so, that's really quite disgusting.

It's sorta weird to me that there can be such a range of opinions when it comes to thongs moving a fraction of an inch northward. Obviously opinions are just that: opinions. Still, it bothers me that guys can say things like "man, my girlfriend is so prude, she only wears granny panties" and then turn around and say that a girl whose thong has slipped a little above her pants looks slutty.

its that they try to shave it but you can see the stub or whatever and its kinda sick

the fact is im pretty sure she knows all of that and her thong showing and whatever and lets it happen (most likely on purpose) but hates it when guys hit on her or stare / look or whatever?

come on, get a grip

in the end its the same for me - if you do it, fine, but take responsibility in your actions and don't blame others for your own insecurities or whatever - it *was* your choice after all

Does your attitude apply to women who dress frumpy because they hate that kind of treatment and still get catcalls? It was their choice to dress down, but they still got catcalls. Is it their fault that some guy made them feel uncomfortable because he whistled? Their responsibility that some men don't choose to control themselves or exercise tact? You can't put all the blame (a.k.a. responsibility) on women for men's actions. In the case of skimpy dressing and catcalling, you have to admit the blame/responsibility is equal. 50% because of the way a female chose to dress and 50% because the man lacks tact and dignity.

(Beware: I suspect I suffer from derailed thought. This is hardly a direct relation to what's being discussed, but it was the first thing that came to mind, so I'm sharing it.)
Saying women who wear thongs that show are responsible for men's catcalling is like saying women who get raped are responsible for it because they provoked the rapist. It's not the woman's choice that a rapist prefers to rape women who go to gyms. It's not the woman's choice that a rapist prefers to rape women who stay at home, either. Even if a woman staying home is what provoked the rapist, you have to admit it wasn't her fault for that happening. There are plenty of things women do that rapists target in on. Rapists are like wildcards, what they look for in victims is completely nonstandard and unpredictable.

before I was married, I could care less about what women wore.. Now, I stare at pretty much every woman's ass.. Nothing like denying yourself 3 billion women to make you realize what you were missing all those years.. :P

well i am meaning that if they *do* do it for provocative reasons then ask later why - then yes, it is their fault

no its not their fualt they got raped, no its not their fault they got catcalls, but if they do it for provocative reasons then later cry back at it, then thats just plain stupid

this mainly ties in hand with the anti-bandwagon feelings i have - because there are many many who do it thinking its going to get a guy or whatever, (yeah tis a bad example but i cant think up anything good right now) and instead get the catcalls and get all pissed and stuff.

in the end its self esteem

I like tattoo's that have a personal meaning for the girl. I can't stand when a girl (or anyone for that matter) gets a tattoo just because it's trendy. If you want one so bad, put some damned thought behind it! And not just your current favorite band or something... It should be an extension of who you are. I really like finding out the story behind a tattoo on a girl, as long as that story doesn't simply consist of "I like flowers".

Tight looking girls in tight fitting clothing will never get old.......not in my world.

THongs hangin out so obviously that you know it was completely done on purpose....unless you are at a strip club, that can be of some concern.
But when you go out with a girl and take her to bed...and she takes her pants off to reveal a nice thong adorning her behind......
WOW!
