Webcomic: Least I Could Do
 I've sort of been in this situation before... but panel 4 made me die laughing because I've said practically the exact same thing before. I wonder how many others have... Of course, I was fairly certain that she would wake up... and it was morning... and I was also fairly certain that she'd like being awakened in that way... ...but still. Too funny. A while back I think there was a similar discussion on Tilted, and im2smrt4u asked me if I would let him have sex with me while I was sleeping. I said sure, its not like I'd tell him no otherwise so I figured what could it hurt. So I gave him a "blanket okay". Well one night he woke up feeling frisky and decided to take advantage of my approval. I guess I started reacting in my sleep so he went to town and then realized I wasn't moving. He thought I wasn't enjoying it so he stopped. The funny thing was the sex didnt wake me up it was him stopping that woke me. So here I am waking to find him on top of me. I said "well hi! Do you need something?" and laughed. He was a little weirded out by the fact that I was asleep the whole time. I thought it was hilarious.
 He frequently wakes me up with sex, or just rolls over and goes to town I sometimes wake up and other times I wake up just enough to figure out what the hell is going on and go back to sleep. I love sex but I really love sleeping, Im like a cat.

Heh, yup did that to the wife waaaaay back when we started living together.
Just rolled on top of her and started in. She was still asleep and despite that, getting into it. All of the sudden she woke up, and her eyes got really big until she figured out what was going on and started moaning again. Good times....

I've always wondered if that shit would fly. I mean, if I woke up to find someone fucking me, I would be pleasantly surprised. But yeah, often wondered how much that kind of thing flies with women, I guess it depends on the couple. I know a guy who fucks in his sleep. His girlfriend is just kinda used to it, but the funny thing is, he is totally asleep while he's on top of her going at it. She'll either let it happen and go back to sleep or she'll stay up and enjoy the ride hehe.

My ex enjoyed when I would slip her panties off in the morning if I was in the mood. We usually woke up at the same time though so it's not like it was a regular occurrence.
My current girlfriend doesn't enjoy it as much when I do that in the morning. If we're having a nap in the afternoon then she really gets into it, but she's not really a morning person. In general though, she's all for being woken up to have sex. -Tamerlain

Hmmm, I've been woken up to have sex, but usually at 2 am, on a work day, when I have to get up at 4:30 am (aerospace). Generally I was not enthusiastic or receptive.
Now if it was a weekend and I could sleep in, that's completely different.

I have been woken up in the middle of the night for sex before - not something I would complain about unless I had to be up early for work.
On the switch side however I have woken up a partner for sex more then once, generally with a blow job lol.

One interesting situation, is the pleasant dream scenario. When approached gently, and slowly, I have found sleepy sex can be turned into a dream for your partner, and it has a very cool effect on the subconscious it would seem. But the timing and individual play heavily into making such a thing work.

Sorry to bring the negative side of this 'nonconsensual sex' scenario, but I wanted to chime in distinctly remember hearing about an episode of Dr. Phil where the female of this one relationship was under the adamant impression that she had not had sexual relations with her husband in four months. Much to her surprise, she became hysterical when she discovered she was pregnant, wondering how this was possible at all. Much to her surprise and disgust, after a personal and eye-opening confrontation, the husband had admitted to having sex with her at night without her knowing for a fairly-lengthy duration of time. She felt extremely betrayed and violated. She no longer was able to trust the man whom she had married, who had essentially raped her every night because in his distorted mind, he found it an easier task to accomplish than to awaken her, ask if she was in the mood, and have his sexual advances subsequently rejected for whatever reason. Such was his solution.
EDIT: Failing to find the particular episode, I did however find a precursor to the issue of 'spousal rape' when Dr. Phil McGraw was on Larry King Live. I have been woken up on several occasions this way. I'm a grumpy person when I'm being pulled out of my sleep cycle, but that changes as the act continues...generally.
However, I have vivid dreams and often night terrors. There have been a few times that I was having dreams not so conducive to sexual encounters and often lashed out thinking I was being raped or attacked in general. A few nights of that halts anyone from waking a person up in that manner. heh But yea, good times...

This was actually how my daughter was conceived.
The wife and I weren't trying (or Not not trying either), one night about 2am I awoke in a half state of consciousness with an overwhelming sense of horny... The wife was right there sleeping so I just started with the poke poke business.
