Confusing Situation
I met a girl at school, she's alright and i got her number after some days, but so far she has returned none of my calls, it's always some excuse..But we still meet up at school and she still talks with me even after my like 5 calls and her 0 returned calls..I also asked her out 1 time and she said ok maybe then when the day came noone answered the phone and when I asked her about it at school she said she didnt remember getting any call..it's sort of obvious shes blowing me off here but then why hang out with me at school or not mention something to make the situation obvious?

She's blowing you off, but trying to be "nice" about it because she thinks you are a nice guy.
Me? I have a three call rule, leaving a message the first time. If they don't return they aren't interested.

She's probably embarassed about telling you to your face, so she insulates herself by giving you the phone number then ignoring it - I suspect that she's hoping you will get the message and move on; that way YOU suffer all the negative emotions and she just breezes on her way.
I'd catch her in private and say "I like you and would like to take you out to a XXXXXXXXXXXXX, if you are interested, please call me, otherwise I'll see you about" and leave it up to her. That way se has to face up to her social responsibility to you as another human being. Whatever you do, don't do it in front of her girls, or she will bad-mouth you for ever, and you'll never get a date. Remain polite, and stop being pushy. Five calls vs no responses just seems NEEDY, my friend.

Generally women will choose to be "nice" and hang around just to avoid a confrontation. I'm not so sure this behaviour does either party any good.
Move on Daniel, if a woman is interested you'll know it.

Anyway, I agree with Daniel's assessment. I wouldn't bother with trying to call her anymore because it's seems like she's just uninterested - and the calling is rather too much. If she's just busy now, then she'll get back to you when she's ready. Calling over and over again with no return calls will only make you seem needy. That's probably the last thing you want. |

It's obvious she's totally into you, and is just playing hard to get. 15 more calls should do the trick... Trust me, I KNOW women! Remember, when you finally do get that first date, tell her you love her. Women love to hear that. The sooner the better.

Yeah, she's totally blowing you off. I went through a similar situation once and I was that girl. Now, I just look back at the girl I used to be and want to give her a slap in the face. Stop calling her, it reeks of desperation. Move on and count your blessings that you found out how immature she is now instead of later.

Whatever the reason and there could be many outside of herself (I noticed you met at school, so there is likely to be parental input involved) the message she is sending is clear. She doesn't want a close relationship but is okay with an acquaintanceship. Stop embarrassing her by causing her to lie because she is unable to be blunt (for whatever reason). Move on.
In future it may be useful to remember this, once may be accidental, twice maybe coincidental, three times is deliberate. |

you want really confusing?
i asked this nice woman out, we had English together a few semesters ago (at the time she was dating some one). i finally meet up with her and ask her out for some coffee, she says yes but is really busy with moving, so i call her in a few weeks and find out the move went bad and she will be moving in the next few days and she will call me back. 2 weeks pass, so i call her, turns out she lost my number but really did want to get some coffee and did not want me to think she was blowing me off, she says she is still busy and will call me back. 2 weeks no call, i call her, she picks up and says she has to go and will call me back. 2 weeks later i get a call from her from a different phone number (she has a cute distinct voice) asking for a jim, my name is not jim, i tell her there is no jim here (not mentioning i know who she is). I'm not sure if she is interested and this is just some huge mess of random junk that got in the way or if she lost interest after she said 'i don't want you to think I'm blowing you off.'

There is nothing confusing about that Dilbert, she is having fun and playing the field while keeping potential new partners/victims on a string. If you wanted a quickie with no strings she would be the way to go, but don't get attached. And use a condom.

You may be able to salvage a scrap of dignity by writing to her (on a piece of paper, not a txt or email) to explain that you think she's lovely, and would like to apologise for calling a bunch of times like a needy jerk.
It may help. Then again, it may cause her to get her big cousin bubba to tie you to a tree and fuck you like a pig. That's the thing with women - you can never be sure how they're going to react.

No, you will not get a date with this girl.
You can ignore what you have done. You can be self-righteous and, next time you see her, say "if you where not interested, you should have told me. Lieing is not polite. Now, go away, my time is worth too much to spend it with dishonest people." This might make her feel bad, and might make you feel good, but will produce very few other consequences that are positive. You can be awkward, and apologize the next time you see her. This will not make any difference, other than being awkward and punishing yourself for your violation of social norms. However by far the easiest and safest route is to ignore it, and the girl, for the forseeable future.

You know she has your number and can call you back if she wants to. You know she got at least one of your messages. She is not interested.
