I'm in the market for a new computer and I need to know what I need for these types of games. I'll be buying a fully built computer. (hardly any computer knowledge)

I'm excited but at the same time, kind of depressed about it. Between family and work I don't see me having enough time to immerse myself into this game. I don't think this is the type of game where you can play for an hour and walk away for a couple of days.

Thanks for the site info, h_j. I'll check it out.
Do these type of games require that much ram? I think my bro-in-law put in like 512 or something in mine when he refurbished it in the last crash. I told him it was too slow, be he said that's all I needed, since all I basically did was surf, watch clips and play facebook games. It got to be too slow to play the facebook games so I quit going. Then the power supply went.

I don't think you can even get a new system with as little as 512 MB of RAM anymore. Most systems start at 1 GB and many come with at least 2 GB. For a game like this, much depends on your graphics card, but system memory should be at least 2 GB of RAM to avoid bottlenecks.

4gb is industry standard at the moment for gpu intesive games, but it'd probably be a good idea to go 6 or 8gb because it's not too much more expensive and technology is evolving fast nowadays.

Thanks for the info, guys.
With this game and games like Diablo III and Rift coming out, I'm finally interested enough in playing them, to get me a good enough computer. WOW looked too cartoony.

actually, i returned to wow because i built this rig and the new xpack came out and i'm really impressed with it graphics wise... it's more of a frank miller batman graphic novel than an archie comic now.
