I wish it were winter here, or at least autum, although cold beers are making the heat go away tonight quite nicely.

what i wouldn't do for winter! the heat wave seems to be in this god damn city officially, it's been a good 105 + last couple days, and they said it's only going to get hotter. whoopdie fucking doo.

It's been alright here the past couple of days, the humidity has at least gone away for a bit and the wind is blowing but it's supposed to go back to the heat wave temps again soon. I miss winter so much, I'm not a summer person all, maybe I should move way the hell up north where it's at least cooler than it is here in Ottawa.

I haven't been drinking much lately, this was the first time in about a month and a half. Although I did quit drinking for a while before, it's the summer and nothing beats the heat better than some beers.

i thought you hate alcohol man.

now that i'm a cranky old woman, pretty much the only thing i truly appreciate about this time of summer is the long daylight hours. i perish & complain a lot in the heat. HATE IT. it's so dang HOT here right now. thank goodness we don't have humidity here as well. i grew up in a humidity plagued state - good thing i was young back then. thank goodness for air-conditioning!!!

i much prefer spring & autumn when i can have every window in the house opened.

one good thing about summer, home grown tomatoes!!

I wouldn't say I hate alcohol, it isn't my favorite thing in the world but it sure does cut through the heat.

jay, just don't confuse drinking beers for taking in fluids. Alcohol will dehydrate you faster than anything.

Oh yeah, I make sure to keep my water bottles full and alternate between water and beers.
