We need a picture here... too many ellipses and plays-on-words make my head spin...

Well, then, this is my latest "fav'd" picture on flickr... and wouldn't you know it, the locale is the peaceful serenity and fun of the beach, what with crashing waves and chickies. For an even better portrayal, you should see the pic I saved before this one.
(too bad i can't embed it here)

it's called "sunrise at aazhimala"... but I still can't figure out the continent (darn, I tied it back to "that" word)

the shape of the boats make me think it's in somewhere in Polynesia, as well as the large group hauling in the fishing nets.

I found this about aazhimala:
The location of Aazhimala couldn’t be more perfect, situated 24 km’s from Trivandrum International Airport & about 8 km’s south of the main tourist resort of Kovalam.

Aazhimala is in the small town of chowara, the area of the resort is just over an acre of reclining hillside sloping down with landscape gardens & beautiful terraces to a depth of around 50 metres. At the end you come to a golden beach nestled by rock formations on both sides to provide exclusivity to it.

I found this on Aazhimala:

have we answered yet what continent it is on, or I am not looking hard enough?

Celina Jaitley, I think.

It was the first result of my eight-second search... glad to be of service...

and now I need to watch the entire movie now, and that other Nicholson film where he is a hippie aiding some runaway deaf girl, I think. It's amazing how many times I never sat through an entire film before 1983. Astronomical, maybe.

btw, it's Jim Beam not Jack.

Fortunately, I have the soundtrack to Easy Rider in my car's multidisk player. Along with the soundtracks to The Harder They Come, and O Brother, Where Art Thou? ...that makes 3

I just went ~500 miles each way...home to Toronto and back. The QEW was unbelievably bad...worst road I've been on in at least 20 years. I'm inspired by Ocm?'s post and now may have to shop for kilts and wear them to my next staff meeting.
